Trump Claims Epstein Files Clear His Name

Trump: Files prove radical left's hoped-for scandal is false

Donald Trump wasted no time addressing the release of the bombshell Epstein files. Following a massive document dump by the US Department of Justice, the former president claimed the papers "absolve" him, despite featuring his name multiple times. In typical Trump fashion, he declared the documents' revelations were the opposite of what “the radical left” desired.

The files, containing millions of pages, were made public by the DOJ. They included various emails and clippings, but no evidence supporting accusations against Trump. Despite being heavily mentioned, the documents didn’t substantiate wrongdoing, as many allegations were deemed baseless by investigators.

Trump, speaking confidently, said, "I didn't see it myself but important people told me it absolves me." His name appeared throughout the massive trove, mixed with other items like federal investigators' emails from August of last year. Yet, none of these could be verified with concrete evidence.

The Justice Department was clear. A statement noted the potential presence of "fake or falsely submitted" materials within the files. It specifically labeled claims against Trump as "unfounded and false", indicating they were nothing but sensational distractions submitted before the 2020 election.

Trump has consistently denied any link to Epstein's alleged crimes. While his prior relationship with Epstein, spanning the late 1980s to early 2000s, is public knowledge, nothing yet proves any complicity in Epstein’s heinous acts. Back in 2002, Trump called Epstein a "terrific guy" with a preference for young women, a label that haunts him to this day.

Now, Trump's assertion that this release proves a political witch hunt is underway casts a long shadow. Is this the end of the story, or just the beginning of another heated political battle?

Key Takeaways

  • DOJ released files mentioning Trump, but no proof of wrongdoing.

  • Trump claims files absolve him, contrary to "radical left's" hopes.

  • DOJ warns of "fake or falsely submitted" content in files.

This is the non-transparency group, this is the administration says don't believe you're lying eyes, and we're not going to actually tell you the truth, we're pulling data off our websites, we're actually making sure we can spin whatever story we want and never be accountable to you. And by the way we will flood the zone with federal agents, we will put them in masks and we will have them refuse to even identify who they are, but no we're the transparency, administration, we're going to get the Deep State.

No, this is the Deep State, Trump has become the Deep state, their refusal to be transparent and follow through on promises to their base is exactly why this is coming home to roost.

Brace yourself for the midterms Don, it's going to be very ugly for you.

You have to be some fool to believe that Trump wasn't involved heavily in this on going saga.

. . . and an even bigger fool if you think that this DOJ is going to release anything that would implicate the man with the orange face. But prove me wrong, Miz Bondi, and I will happily concede to my error.

But consider that there may be something afoot by one or more pretenders to the presidency who might just hide away a smoking gun to be revealed when it is time to deliver the death blow (figuratively speaking).

Anyone who has followed Trump throughout the years, knows that he is a lying, cheating, unethical scumbag. The king of self promotion.

He was saying and doing exactly the same cr*p in the 80s. Cheating people out of their properties in Atlantic City in collusion with corrupt authorities. Buying up buildings in New York and attempting to force the tenants out in nefarious ways in so he could put up another tower. 100 Central Park South being one example, for those who are interested.

Ed Koch, the mayor back then, called him "Piggy, Piggy, Piggy".

He even took out full page ads back then, suggesting that wealthy nations such as Saudi Arabia and Japan should pay for being defended militarily and that he could negotiate a better arms deal with Russia. Of course he just happened to be in Moscow trying to organise putting up one of his buildings there. He stated that he could learn all there is to know about nuclear weapons in "an hour and a half".

Then they could take those billions of dollars and use them to "help our farmers, our sick, the homeless" Totally disingenuous.

He would make promises of building middle and low income housing and then pull out. Instead to build the Taj Mahal casino.

Then, his behaviour with women. Dumped Ivana for Marla Maples, then 'dumped' Marla Maples by calling in to the New York Post under his pseudo name, John Miller, stating that the ring he bought her wasn't an engagement ring, but that he was just throwing Tiffany's some business. Announced that Carla Bruni was his new squeeze. Carla Bruni called him a "lunatic", saying that she had only met him once, a year prior.

He got married to Marla Maples in the end.

However, in 1990, Mr Trump admitted in court he and one of his employees used the name "John Baron" in business dealings during a case about undocumented Polish workers constructing Trump Tower.

A lawyer for the workers said he received a call from someone named "Mr Baron" who threatened to sue if he did not drop a lawsuit over withheld pay for the workers, the New York Times reported, external.

A reporter for People magazine contacted Mr Trump's office in 1991 to interview him about the end of his marriage to Ivana Trump and his relationship with model Marla Maples.

The "media spokesman" called the reporter, Sue Carswell, back and began telling her about why Mr Trump had broken up with Ms Maples for Italian model Carla Bruni.

"He really didn't want to make a commitment," said the man claiming to be John Miller. "He's coming out of a marriage, and he's starting to do tremendously well financially."

Once, Mr Miller slipped out of talking about Mr Trump in the third person in a conversation with Ms Carswell, but quickly corrected himself.

The man is a con artist. All smoke, mirrors and image. Liposuction. Hair transplants.

His take on that? "It doesn't matter what they write as long as you've got a young and beautiful piece of ass".

Possibly filed more frivolous law suits than anyone else in history...

A truly awful creature. But he can con people, at least for a while.

You know what they say...

"You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time"
