  1. You realized this after 26 years or was this the first trip back home?
  2. Let me make a small correction. For permanent residents, they flog it in a different way. As long as you do not leave Thailand, nothing is required, you can stay forever. But if you want to go out of Thailand for any reason, you have to purchase an 'exit permit' (dont know the official name). As they dont sell this at the airport and you may require to travel suddenly, most will buy a 12 month permit to leave & reenter multiple times. They do not sell this for longer duration, so the yearly pilgrimage to immigration office!
  3. No Sir, nothing at all. Just silence. And I am hoping that the recent change of Interior Minister does not push this on the back burner. In a few weeks, it will be a whole year since we had the big MOU committee interview.
  4. He was obviously either mentally sick or too drunk. The police understood the situation and handled it in a humane & exemplary manner without shooting him to death. And the policeman who had his gun snatched so easily by keeping it visible & easily accesible must be reprimanded.
  5. How naive! The police would have just extracted old CCTV footage from airport cameras after her story went viral. They were not following her around with vdo cameras secretly filming her.
  6. Looking for the cheapest fruit? If you are on a budget, I have seen some shelves in Big-C where they sell fruit & other perishables at a deep discount. I think these may need to be thrown out in a day or two, but they look good to eat same day.
  7. Businesses are not as foolish. Nobody gives out a loan without looking at the National ID card number which never changes from the day it is first issued to a citizen. The name on the card can be changed for a few Baht, not the number.
  8. $400k=400,000US$=Approximately 14 million THB. Alot of money for "medical insurance, internet, electricity and food"
  9. How would anyone know if ALL Thai women do this? From the few I have known, none of them had this habit. You seem to be an 'angryguy'
  10. Keep a low profile and be careful when going from your friend's 'safehouse' to the airport. Get caught, you go monkey house.
  11. The article says that whenever it rains, he loves to ride nude with giant size dildoes. Every 3-4 days.
  12. Oh the hoops that some people must jump to be in Thailand.
  13. He is "openly gay", has a girlfriend, and loves to ride giant dildoes! Which one of the characters LGBTQI etc does he represent?
