    Thank you for your replies. Did anyone who transfered to a US bank account encounter "intermediary" bank fees? If so, how much were the fees? Came up in some posts I've read.

    Hello, I was wondering if anyone has experience with and knows the cheapest way to send money from a Thai Bank account to a US Bank personal account. I have read a few opinions and they seem rather varied and not current. It would be from SCB or Kasikorn bank to a Scwabb account brokerage or checking. Decent size transfer of three to five hundred thousand baht. Many thanks.

    Has it started already? 100%? All airports and land borders? I've only seen a couple of photos of random stamps (could be country that always has gotten 60 days). Not too many positive reports.

    Hello, I would like to know the answer to these questions also. I've been reading about this border hop and seems to be some bad experiences. Has anyone done it recently? Were they required to show proof of accomodation and Onward ticket? Many thanks

    Thanks for your reply. So you can apply a couple of weeks prior to expiry of visa. Would anyone know if there is an exact amount of days before expiry that i permitted. Also, if anyone knows if Phuket has the same rules or different stipulations that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

    Hello, I have read a lot of conflicting info on this subject. In Bangkok, how early can one go to get a 30 day extension for a 60 day tourist visa? Also, is that the same time frame for phuket? Must you drop off your visa, then return to pick it up another day? Or is it done during one visit? Many thanks.

    Hi, has anyone entered the Phillipines without a return trip or ongoing ticket? I am wondering if this is 100 % necessary for entry to the Phillipines as I want to keep my itinerary flexible. Im American flying from Thailand (if that matters).

    Charge them 20 X local fee for national parks Double hotel rates 20 to 50 % more at hospitals Charge them more for pharmacy goods, food, electricity, water. Just to name a few things.

    Hi, Does anyone know of good (or great) cardiologists and cardiology departments in Bangkok? I'm not looking for Bumrungrad luxury , just good, solid professionals. That being said, I don't want money to be a hindrance to quality care. I have been wanting to get checked and treated for some time now and I'm looking for someone who knows what they are doing and I can trust. Many thanks.
