Thanks. I use kasikorn. I have SCB as well, but was planning on using Kasikorn for the visa. Ah, so a bank statement from my K bank application wont do then? I guess this doesnt update immediatly-takes a day or so I think. I havent used a passbook for quite some time, guess I will have to update on day of application (with a deposit or withdrawal on day of application) then print all pages. Can I get the "bank letter" from any branch? Also, would you know if a bank statement downloaded from a mobile bank app would be accepted for the 12 month extension (free of charge those are and quite detailed - for K bank at least). Thanks

Hi, Does anyone know how many days you can stay in Vietnam (American passport holder) with an evisa? I have read conflicting information on the two types of evisas. Some say 25$ is 90 days/ single entry. Some say 25$ is 30 day/ single entry. While the 50$ visa is meant to be 90 days and multiple entry. Is the 25$ single entry visa 30 or 90 days? Thanks.

Yes, june, july, august. Used to be september , october were ok also. Keeps getting shorter every year, especially in Bangkok. Things get really bad from December to May when they burn all of the sugar fields. Half the year- absolutley horrendous.

Hello, I was wondering if anyone has experience with and knows the cheapest way to send money from a Thai Bank account to a US Bank personal account. I have read a few opinions and they seem rather varied and not current. It would be from SCB or Kasikorn bank to a Scwabb account brokerage or checking. Decent size transfer of three to five hundred thousand baht. Many thanks.
