Thanks for your reply. So you can apply a couple of weeks prior to expiry of visa. Would anyone know if there is an exact amount of days before expiry that i permitted. Also, if anyone knows if Phuket has the same rules or different stipulations that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hello, I have read a lot of conflicting info on this subject. In Bangkok, how early can one go to get a 30 day extension for a 60 day tourist visa? Also, is that the same time frame for phuket? Must you drop off your visa, then return to pick it up another day? Or is it done during one visit? Many thanks.
