  1. Sometimes those rent-a-cops like to practice their limit authority over you. Just park it and go in..what are they going to do?
Plus the OP states it's more of the idea then the extra so called 50 meters.

  2. Face to face I am sure is best for guitar lessons. What I did is join Jamplay....all you really need as far as learning goes.

I can now read music..not great but getting better...if you just wish to learn songs they have all genres and skills. tons of songs and even song writing classes...I am working now on blues slide guitar...love it so much..

    http://www.jamplay.com/taf/m0t here is the link.....

  3. Thanks FolkGuitar for the heads up. This is sounds prefect. Just told the wife we will have Vietnamese Spring Rolls for breakfast next Tuesday. smile.png

Chiang Dao is only around 45klms from our home so a easy drive. Can't wait to check it out.

"""""""""""You find them just next to that German fellow and his wife that Sparkles mentioned, selling really nice looking pies, cakes, and breads.

The market starts about a block after the turn-off for the Chiang Dao Cave, and these two vendors are on the right side just after the beginning of it all! And if you see an old (but very, very 'handsum') man looking foolish with a video camera on a big stick, tap me on the shoulder and say 'hi!'

LOL, ok, I'll bring my Martin tuned to open D....smile.png....you mentioned also lunch at the Chiang Dao Nest....the couple who owe it live a 3 iron away from us...may stop there too...come on Tuesday.smile.png)

  4. Well 30 years ago when I was a suburban teen in California, never anything more than some herbal recreation I did once cop a val from my housewife Mommie's presciption supply. Did not feel anything at all.

same here, we used to take a val or 2, couple of tokes and jump here our VWs and head to Griffith Park...those were some fun days.\

all joking aside...I would love to purchase some ambien. Love the stuff for the long flight to the USA. Only thing that works and no hangovers when I land.

  5. Not sure but reading through the thread...did anyone mention the Yamaha Store in Airport Plaza? They have some nice guitars and amps. Prices are high but one can bargain.

I purchased a Fender Strat from them (USA Model) ....got a OK deal because of the color ..it was a color no one wanted but I really liked it....same green as my Dad's 61 Buick....

  6. We have some friends out from Oregon they felt right at home.:) Never do I remember a Loy Kratong with so much cool rain.

Still we all had a blast, made the best of it, lunched a few lanterns and ate lots of street food. Not as much (to me) fun as Songkron but a close 2nd.

    Happy Loy Kratong to all!
