I could live in PI in heart beat. Love it there. But, have a Thai wife and she makes it easy for me live here. If I had a Filipina wife I'd live in the Philippines. A Mexican wife, Mexico...get where I am going with this.) If I was single, I think it would be great to live 6 months there and 6 months here.
Food generally is better here. The visa thing I find it somewhat easy it's no big thing. There really is no CM kind of a town in PI, but I do like the beaches better in PI... I'm married, but again if single both places are great and have pretty girls.

Sala Cafe is in like my backyard. I know the owners well, both very nice people. Run a top notch place and the surrounds are beautiful.

Hi, need to deepen my water well or dig a new one. It along with the mountain water coming down from the hills has served us well. But, like this time of year water well does dry up plus just found out a fire has melted all the pipes for the Doi Water.
So, next step a new well...
Any recommendations would be appreciated.

I think it would be better if you were broken into to have photos of the burgers. I have a baby monitor in my music room. I set the baby monitor to "on" when I leave just in case someone comes in to steal a guitar to 2. But I am very interest in the nice CCTV system and will give this guy a call soon. Thanks for posting the question, and the responses.

I know (including me) everyone has their own idea...but, if you eat the correct foods there is no reason to calorie restrict..

My grandkids live here. Makes it worth it...plus B30 water bill, B35 going out to eat meal (veggie restaurant) B40 once a week trash pick up (and they supply the bags) house paid for (not much of a place but paid for) all this helps too...Nice though to head to a island durning the smoky time...Love it here beside those 3 smoky months. Did not move here for the weather being from LA but it's not to bad.
Nope don't but wife does....we have well water plus all water the community has set up which cost B30 baht a month..Have to pay 6 months though in advance:) ... We actuarially live in Mae Rim....close enough to CM.
But, that was a good question...thanks

I like the Promenada Mall location so far. Further away from my home but worth the easy parking and sitting/waiting. Plus fun to walk around to kill time if needed.

I'm up and about anyway at 4am ( I go to sleep early) so sitting in front of my computer at home, playing my guitar, sitting in my car drinking coffee, or hanging out at a 7/11 one morning is all the same. Besides it's one day. So, I look at it as "this guy" was in and out of there in 2 1/2 hours...not to shappy...Just my take.

Curious, how much do retired Thai's receive here each month on average?
I believe most of my neighbors never receive anything because they never paid into the system...around here they mostly do day jobs... but for the folks who did pay in how much do they receive each month...thanks!
