  1. We have some friends out from Oregon they felt right at home.:) Never do I remember a Loy Kratong with so much cool rain.

Still we all had a blast, made the best of it, lunched a few lanterns and ate lots of street food. Not as much (to me) fun as Songkron but a close 2nd.

    Happy Loy Kratong to all!

  2. Well Arbert came out as planned. First..what a nice man. Very honest and up front. I don't think he was to impressed with my roof choice but

he being polite kept it to himself.smile.png

I need to do some modifications. Like cute about 7cm off the overhang where ever I want rain gutters. Not a big deal really.

Do want to say, when we build our house I will use tile not this sheet type roof but it was cost effective at the time. But, again this was just for a Thai sala and a little workshop....

I do look forward to doing business with Albert. Thanks again all for the recomantation.

  3. our galvo gutters (approx 250 lineal metres)

this post is just for clarification purposes.to dispell the doubts of a member(whose post was removed) who disputes that the above number(approx 250 lineal metres)was bull dust

our property has 7 seperate buildings,as follows

    gardiners /storage house

    4 car garage

    large house

    kitchen

    laundry

    main house

please note ,my approx lineal measurements.includes down pipessmile.png

    over to you g/v resident

Like you evenstevens, ours are seperate buldings. Gardiners/storage house...I'm the gardner..3 car carport (wish it was a garage) Kitchen/sala on top and the guest house which we live in..we do not even have a main house yet...still wanted to get it started...I can see 250ms with all you have going on there...sounds like a nice place.

yes it does nt take many seperate buildings to amass a cricket score in guttering lineal metres, the other member obviously cannot think outside the boxsmile.png

perhaps biased, but we do have a very nice place in the foothills of maerim (out in the boonies to our very lovely nancy Lbiggrin.pnglaugh.png )our builds sit on a two and half rai peice of dirt on a spur of a hill

made a enquiry y/day,a pal of mine quite sometime back , used daam naams recommended gutterer, and has nothing but kind words for them

the very best of luck, for the rest of your build, and a very nice morning to allbiggrin.png

Thanks so much...you know we are located near the Mae Rim foothills also..as a crow flies...1k from Mae Sa waterfall north..1k form the Sala Cafe south...maybe we are neighboors. ya never know...Will call Albert Monday thanks to all of you and daam naams recommendtation.

  5. I would also go with Albert's Alti Gutters:

    1. These are better looking than the cheapo zinc things

    2. They have large capacity to deal with monsson water

    3. We've had ours 4 years and no problem.

    4. Albert's a nice guy. He rides a bicycle.

And he roasts some of Northern Thailand's best coffee beans.. http://www.alti-coffee.com

and I bet his favorite color is Orange.:))

Happy to hear he rides bicycle. One of the buildings I want gutters on his a freshly built little bike shop.

  6. Hi all, the time as come where I would like to have some rain gutters installed.

Any recommendations on installers here in Chiang Mai please let me know.

Will try Home Pro and other places if needed.

Like to have someone come out give me a quot and get it done.

    Thanks in advance.
