Stayed at the Inn House on Soi 13 recently. Friendly with guests, nice restaurant out front, quiet street, pool on the roof - about 1,200 baht and a great location between WS and Central Festival - very near beach. Still installing free WiFi while I was there. Plus they have an elevator (lift).

I can upgrade my iPhone 3 to a 4 next month. I move to Thailand in March. Can I use the new phone in Pattaya?

Thong Tha is clean and close but they didn't have an elevator. I stayed at the Regent Suvarnabhumi last time and it was excellent. It has an elevator and it was 540 baht.

Whenever something like that happens to me, I go and update my Flash and Java drivers and then I empty the Temporary Internet files and the cache. More often than not that will solve the issue.

Try Thong Ta Resort through Agoda. Close to the airport - fairly new and inexpensive. Convenience store nearby. Another hotel with no elevator. They have WiFi and a restaurant. It worked for me in March.

Thong Ta resort worked for me. Although taxi driver had trouble finding it.

I had the same problem and emailed Support. They responded quickly and now everything seems to be back to normal.

My choice is always price. If they code-share, the service is the same. Why pay more?

I'm an american who has spent the last 10 vacations (5 years) in Thailand. I can't begin to understand all of the intricacies of the political dealings. I just hope all works out for the better.
