No need for our erstwhile and steadfast police officers to put themselves in danger.
Sturdy piano wire strung across the street at around 1 metre in height would do the trick.
They can start on the soi where I live if they want to stop these little b@stards.

Proven technology, we have used it to clean "Rubber Ponds" Water odors and killing bacteria and viruses.
The process here in Thailand is a bit ore difficult due to the high ambiant temperature of the water.
There is no wast, just turns back to Oxygen, contact time is the key to success!
Requires knowledge of the system and "Regular Prevenative Maintenance"
I use a small Ozone Generator to clean and extend my vegetable storage time, soke on cold Ozonated water, and extend the storage life of most all vegetables by3X in the frig.
Also cleans the air in my "Old Thai House". Removes pet odors and smoking smells in my staff's house.
Friends resort, he uses mine to remove mildew odors and smoke smell, from curtins, rugs, the whole room.
Requires Care and Knowledge as do all things we do in life.
could you give me some more info, would love to see if I can do this for my fruit & veggies

Local suppliers here
Admittedly, specializing in air cleansing/purification, but interesting to learn it's available.

I have first hand experience of this being diagonosed with it in September 2012.
Did the usual 'brave man thing' and refused any medication, suggested by Mrs N., for 3 days. Stuck with the 'my body's own defenses will deal with this' defence.
On day four I thought I was on my way out. I have never felt that weak and I cannot even begin to describe the headache. Fiercly intense would be the most accurate description.
4 days in hospital on a constant drip to fight both the swine flu itself and the pneumonia in one lung that accompanied it. Followed by a 14-day home quarrantine during which it was all I could do to get out of bed to use the bathroom.
Attempted to play golf about 2 months after and had to be carried off after 6 holes - completely exhausted.
They (the 'experts' at the private hospital) said it was contracted about 10 days before, which puts me working in one of Bangkok's most prestigious hotels and/or on the BTS to-and-fro from that job. Just unlucky I guess.

Been working at two 5-star riverside hotels today. One of them is receiving a steady flow of postponements and/or cancellations and the other has lost 300+ room nights (from cancellations) in the past 48 hours alone.
This 'situation' is having direct effects on the high-end tourism.

Interesting, a contact of mine at another "high end" 5 star hotel in the rajdamri/ratchaprasong precinct said it was pretty much business as usual...
If your above info is correct, that hopefully will equate to some decent rates being available for the weekend "getaways"
Maybe the riverside hotels are a bit more 'touristy' with the Rajdamri/Ratchaprasong hotels being more for the business traveller?
I guess the tourists would be more prone to cancelling compared to the business traveller?
Either way, there was an air of desperation surrounding the loss of high season guests.

I remember a friend giving me a quote some years back which I've never forgotten and pass onto others regularly:
Order what you want. Eat what you get.
Even Mrs N passes this onto the other Thai family members who all seem to nod acceptance.

Well, I am currently on the last day of an 18-day holiday to the UK. I have just showed my niece this piece and invited her comments as she has worked for the Mclaren F1 team for the past 13 years as one of their scheduling managers.
It might not come as a surprise to most of you that, guess what...Mclaren have heard precisely nothing about any planned Bangkok F1 calender entry for 2015, or indeed any year in the near future.
Make of that what you will...

My company's HQ was inside the 'live fire' zone in Ploenchit during the Red silliness in 2010.
The SME Bank offered SME businesses inside the zone extremely favourable rates on loans of up to 1m Baht. Our business qualified, as it is a manufacturing-based enterprise, and we took advantage of almost free money from them.
I like the SME Bank

Dear All,
I am getting ready to move up from my mid-range Canon equipment and contemplating something like a 6D and some kind of L lens to compliment it - not sure which combo just yet.
I just wondered if anybody knew of anywhere this kind of equipment can be hired/rented for say 3 days to I can evaluate what to go for when it comes to buy-time.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance...

Takes a little bit more than a wipe with a damp rag to control this.
Additional technology such as can be seen here help on a continuous basis.

“Reconciliation must be accepted by the majority of the people,”
So, is she planning a referendum on the subject?
Don't be too harsh on her, at least she's in her work clothes for once.
It's that "MUST" word that needs more explanation though; I am sure you will agree.

Lad Phrao Soi 9: Mother in law's hourly telephone update to us has just revealed water 'bubbling' up from the drainpipe inside her bathroom. As yet, the water does not have a bad smell.

They can't be serious, can they?
Will they be paying the students 300 baht per day to do the assembly?
I would have thought they would be too busy kicking the sh1t out of each other on or around public transport to have time to do anything constructive.
I've been wrong before though!

You're right, she is one of the more realistic and sensible Thai ladies I have met.
Just to add, to get the equivalent of the 5,000 per day, she has put her hand up for the long haul stuff out of Australia to Japan and Hawaii.
