  1. Rest in peace Juan.

Very sad new for a spanish expat living in Khon Kaen, like me.

My sympathy goes to his whole family.

As in very few days i'll be at the spanish embassy I'll try to get more information on circumstancies of hid death.

I must say also that the economic situation in Spain right now is so BAD that it would'nt allow some Spaniards to move back home.

  2. Phi phi and Samui and koh Phangan are islands without law nor faith.

The almighty local mafia ( the police). Control every single thing or person stepping the islands. They sell drugs, rape, kill etc. And who will make them pay? The police? Ha ha ha. I know what i am talking about... Even today the embassadors of over 10 countries have complained to Thai Authorities because the Country dosen't protect foreigners.

  3. It seems Thais wait until things break, like airport runways with sink holes, instead of testing and doing preventative maintenance. Here is how to test runways, take preventative action, before aircraft are damaged. Could someone forward this to AOT?
Ha! Ha! Ha! My friend, nobody gives a shit at TOT. If an airplane crashes in "Soupharnabumy" they will simply say : it was the "falang" airplane no good!

  4. Gosh you would think they would look at some Western countries and see this universal health care system does not work. Great idea on paper, bad idea in the real world.

Gosh you would think they would look at some Western countries and see this universal health care system does not work. Great idea on paper, bad idea in the real world.

Been working for 60 years in the UK and improved the lives of millions of citizens who would have been left to rot if the pre-WW2 situation had been allowed to persist after 1945.

can you please tell me what free health care is available to

    thai national ? ....if any,,,

Thailand's health care for Thais is worth 30 bahts.

You get for what you pay!

  5. Bla bla bla bla..... Suwarnabum was designed with the ass not with the brain. Sibce 2 years it is already fast collapsed. Why the deciders didn't make it bigger and better and overall EFFICIENT? No.... Now they push the Companies one after one to Don Mueang....

Good idea for update Suwarnabum... Again a lot of millions going to the pockets of corrupted ones....

  6. I am sorry but this is not a "New". Since how many years we hear the same? 20? More...? But nothing changes. Thai economy needs slaves for continue getting income. There's slaves in many fields like in the fishing industry most workers are slaves from Burma. In the agriculture many come from Cambodia. In the prostitution many come from Laos, Burma, Cambodia.... Then, if Thailand cut those activities from another age, who will make those jobs? Rhe slaves do the lowest class jobs that Thais won't do. ^_^

  7. There are many pubs that serves a popular cocktail which is made from mushrooms. A tourist said that there were special mushrooms on the menu on Pangan island and Samui island and and also on Phi Phi island. Local name is “Khee Kwai ” or magic mushroom, which is popular among tourists. When consumed, this kind of mushroom will cause heavy intoxication.

Let me get this straight... the police know that illicit drugs are being openly sold to tourists at the pubs and yet no crackdown on this practice is being done? I read stories all the time here about a couple of farangs getting busted for a few grams of cannabis and yet these are actual Thai businesses openly selling cocktails with drugs in them. This county never ceases to amaze. They truly are "Amazing Thailand"

Because the people that own the illegal businesses on these small islands are the policemen. Nobody can 'storm' the island to investigate, the boatmen call the police everytime they are taking people over, if there are any officials or DSI etc, then the police on the island get 30 mins notice.

Exactly! It is the is way it works.

  8. Well, it seems to be handled by the Thai authorities the same way they handle any matter concerning "foreigner's deads in Thailand". I mean, the only few things i get from the statment are that the authorities want to difuse the point that : it is posible the two sisters got drugged by the famous coktail of magic mushrooms, because they probably were on drugs... As many foreigners use "this popular drug"...! Also whatta means : " police found several pills in their room" ? Is it IBUPROFEN a 'yaaseptik' too?

In the end Thai officials tend to say : it's their fault if they died! Always the same in this corruption nest.

  9. if you dont like what i said i really couldn't care less. But listen to that : 3 or 4 years ago i was sexual partner of 1 gogo in a big gogo of soi cowboy bkk and, as spending my nights with the 2 mamasan they explained me how 80% of the girls don't pass the medical exam every 3 months.(mandatory).

Some are scared to know the truth, others simply don't want to wake up and cross bkk for get a needle in the arm. Then every month, the girls without original medical book certified are discounted 600 thb. From salary. And the original stamp in the book is stamped by corrupt doctors. Then yes. It's the fault of the girls, the doctors, the bars, the CORRUPTION ! Wake up man. You're in the brothel of the world !

  10. I just want to share my experience of 3 to 4 days ago...

Well, i had to let my car at the Toyota garage for a 1 full day of work on it (fixing some stuff) at around 60 km far from home, then I told my wife to call her sister to ask her if she could give us her car all the day for don't be without car in the middle of nowhere and come back home while my car was beeing fixed. Of course she said yes!... Then we went to pick it at my in-law house.

Then while driving way to the garage I drove the in-law's car and my wife drove our car to the place we had to leave our car, and as I was trying to set up the main roof mirror, I found it quite impossible to see a shit through it. Why ? BECAUSE THE OWNER OF THE CAR PUT AROUND THE MIRROR 2 OR 3 METAL NECKLACES AND CHAINS WITH PLENTY MONK'S MEDALS AND A BIG MESS THERE !!!

Crazy, it was materially impossible to use the mirror, but these people believe that the medals and plenty other stuff will protect them from having an accident ?!?! More easy and logical to think that it is the fact of not seeing a shit that will get you in trouble not ?

Then i opened the ashtray and.... 1 kind of mini scarf red colour with drawings in black colour : it is sensed block the entry to the car for the ghosts.....

Of course when i looked to the roof of the car i saw some kind of whithe drawing finger made by a monk, also in the way to bring some kind of good luck.

fuc_k ! It is a brand new car and they destroyed the interior tapisserie yet! Ha Ha Ha !! The most amazing is that the owner of that car ( the sister of my wife is young, i mean 32 years old i guess) but she spend her free time visiting the sorcerers and any kind of medium in order to get back her Thai husband who got a 'mia noi' just after the birth of their 1st daughter yet !!! They have 4 children.

What a pity these people !

A little hard on the eyes with that big font for me, but funny as h3ll! Yes, cover that mirror with religious relics obstructing your view and rendering it much less useful! That will protect you.

Sadly, the same types of things happen the world over with all sorts of religious people from varying superstitions, ... I mean religions.

But, I know praying to my god works because I prayed for it rain yesterday, and my god answered my prayers!! I am so happy.

Yes ! I understand. Me too i belive in "God", or somehow like that. I just found it funny to act in such manner, by my in law...you know ? she didn't discover the hot water, na krap... 555

  12. My girlfriend is a big believer in ghosts, and it drives me daft..... i tell her 100 times not to worry, no ghosts are going to come and get us, but she still believes in them...... i guess they are all over the tv, so why wouldnt she believe....

LUKE................AARGHHH! ....I AM YOUR FATHER.....! AAAARGHHHH! (stars wars)

anyone has ever seen when thais put a pork head on the altar for the dead old ancesters ? I can respect that as any other religious background. But what gets me laughing is that the pork head doesn't last too long on the mini temple... the neighbours run to sneak it and ...EAT IT.. where is the logic?

  13. Sad pathetic and immoral.

    Sad pathetic and immoral ?...........

Nooo, HEre in this Country there is not yet the parameters we have been progemed to think with..... Welcome to the land of smiles.......... I'm not shocked at all. IT IS QUITE NORMAL IN THAILAND. Such things happen every second.

I was not so wrong with my post on that topic 2 or 3 days ago.

Smile ! It is done with the SMILE !! 555

  14. Well, my post is especially destinated to those who are currently in Thaailand and unfortunately addicted to opiates, and in their Countries they already follow or followed a program of maintenance in this case with drinkable Methadone; but for any reason will get short on methadone doses before to leave the Country, or for those that live in Thailand and don't know where to search a convenient methadone legal supply suppervised by the appropriated physician(s) :

If you are in an emergency of course you can go directly to a good international standard hospital in Pattaya or BANGKOK. But for a longer term need of prescription and advise you can also get it, quite easily, in Chiang Mai city.

Maybe you can contact a specialised clinic in that matter in that matter (english spoken) :

    Panu MD. Clinic ภาณุการแพทย์

    3 Thaphae Rd. Soi 5, T. Chang Khlan, A. Muang, 50100

    3 ถ.ท่าแพ ซอย 5 ต.ช้างคลาน อ.เมือง จ.เชียงใหม่ 50100

    Tel. 053- 207131

Sleep disorder, addiction clinic, sexual dis-function

  15. hI,

I hear that that medicine is used also for the treatment of alcohol addiction, but basically it is a mollecule very similar as NALOXONE or "narcan" , just that naltrexone is a long acting opioid receptors blocking andused in opiate treatment for keep patients clean . Anyway, I can recommend you to look for "re-via" it is another brand name of the same naltrexone widely used in US and by the way in Thailand.

    I hope i could help.
