actually we are open for everything. we bought it for 1.8 mln. the maintenance fee is quite low with 1890 baht, including sauna, pool, gym which we use regularly. 26th. floor, nice view to the skyline of bkk.
we can imagine to live there as well as to sell if someone come and is ready to pay a good price :-)
as it seems the cost to renovate and to equip will be quite high (about 800.000 baht) - so maybe in the end it will be really difficult to sell it with a profit. but that is not important as we do not need to sell it.

there are some business places where they work with metals in the sukhumvit 101/1 Soi 24, 26 and Soi 28...

We bought an empty 90 m2 condo and want to do so some things like separate a big room into two rooms, renovate the bath room, need tiles in one room.
can someone recommend some good worker or a company?
did find recommendations for pattaya and phuket but not for bangkok here...

it looks like some ass was pressed against the wall way to hard.
Will u have a goodbye party?

the eye has something to see... but the beach does not really invite me for a swim...
more information would be useful. when was this shot be done?
It seems it was done with ISO 1600 or higher...
It also tips over.

So far the word crackdown in Thailand was abused to many times - time for a change or at least use a word like "brutal" or something like that to get a "brutal crackdown". Maybe that helps
-
Don`t Thais always want to save their face?
At least with all the government driven action they just do the best to make sure that they loose their face. Almost every announcement on a crackdown make me laugh at them. At least with logic action these crackdowns don not have anything in common.
They should better focus the real problems...
I just had to wait 6 hours at the local land department to get all the paper work done to buy a condo, and i got number 20. How do they want to search 27.000 companies with that speed they work? Ridiculous...

"The July 13 seizure of the boxes, which were addressed to a fake company in Thailand, is the third haul of ivory being smuggled in or out of the country through the airport since January, he added."
How do they know that? I dont want to know how many deliveries went undetected...
Yes, it's highly likely it was destined for China. The Chinese are, by far, the greatest users of exotic and/or endangered large species. When big beautiful animals go extinct, we can thank the Chinese.
dont forget the japanese, they dont care as well...

Maxwell, wow i think i am impressed. That is by far the best analysis i ever got if not the best analysis on one photo i ever have seen.
Thanks so much for this.
i try to learn from it and make the best out of it.
Here a pic where i first thought "how cute". finally just an ordinary shot, nothing special at all. The mother allowed me to take the pics of her daughters, i did several pics but what i saw at home then was just disappointing.
BUT: then they left this place and continued on their way. And then without any planning i did a nice shot...
here i love the colors and especially how one of the little girls is looking back. Nice colors and i get what i wanted - even if completely unexpected.
-
and here i love the colors of this nightshot. during the day time this photo would not make sense, just the colors of the night lights make it attractive to me..
ISO: 400
Exposure: 2.0 sec

Of course i forgot to describe: the honey selling couple was sitting in the shadow whilst the sun was shining. It would have been better if they would have been siting in the sun instead of sitting in the shadow, right? but anyway i think its not to bad and what make the picture interesting to me is how the woman in the back is looking... my view always is running from his face to her face and back. the honey stuff is not catching my attention that much...

Evaluating photos cost time and is exhausting, isnt it? At least I enjoy just watching them a lot more.
To make it more easy with my pics i would be happy if u just rat them lets say on a scale from 1 - 10 where 1 is very bad and 10 is extraordinarily sensational. Of course everyone is welcome to put an extra comment...
So lets begin here:

I really suggest everyone in Thailand planning to use a bus or minivan to first double check all tires!
This is far away from the reality. Neither farang nor Thais even don`t use the seat belts if available. The other people always look at me strangely if i use them...
And as well no one will check the tires - guarantee!

There is an increased risk of subsidence if the heavy unauthorized telephone booths remain on Bangkok streets...
U guys just don`t think round the corner...

Some time ago i read something that the Thai immigration at Suvi airport does not check if someone has been really out of Thailand if this someone want just to buy a one way ticket out of Thailand, then goes to Suvi Airport, passing through immigration (out of thailand) with this "out of the country" ticket and then immediately walk to the immigration (into Thailand). Just get the new entry stamp for my Non-Immigrant B Visa.
Will this work?
Would save not only a lot of time...

Now we have to be an expert to say we need nature?
Thais dont need nature. Actually they not only dont like it they also do everything to disturb/destroy places where they try to protect nature and/or animals. (e.g. the elephantnaturepark.org...)
-
Wiek did nothing to get the authorities "into" action.
Information is all these days. Orang Utans at Safari Park. He draw at least attention to Pata... And many more. Drawing attention to these horror places for animals is uncomfortable for the authorities.
-
Even if there are any laws with the intention to protect animals - What does it help if no one take care them, even not authorities? And if someone like Lek from the elephantpark ask the authorities to obey the law it is her place which is raided. A place every visitor after a few days/weeks of stay know that it is the best place for elephants in Thailand. A place with a clear reputation of protection of animals.
And how often it needed for example Weik to get authorities into action. They by themselves are blind and deaf, absolutely incompetent. They don't know how to set priorities because they don't want it. But what does I expect? TiT...

I am in disbelief how a group claiming to help wildlife so easily justifies blatant disregard for Thai wildlife laws intended to protect such precious things as forests and elephants. Intentionally stealing land from a national forest instead of buying land for a legal sanctuary, who would have believed someone could stoop this low. Thailand has no tolerance for foreigners coming to their country and breaking their laws and this is just one more example of that. No need to make up some grand conspiracy theory. Thailand doesn't need organizations like this.
Sangduen Chailert (Lek), the park's founder is a Thai national. What are you talking about foreigners?
Go get some information before guessing around wildly. They dont have wild elephants, how can they help wildlife then. It was never the intention to help wildlife there. Its a place to help elephants like that who are far away from wildlife, who the DNP gave a shit to care of, they never offered any help.
The one making up conspiracy theories is you. And go to Pattaya and see how many acually illegal brothels are owned/run by foreigners and you will tell the world "Thailand has no tolerance for foreigners coming to their country and breaking their laws"... Thailand accept Thai nationals as well as foreigners to break the law as long as they can pay for it. I live in Thailand, so please do not try to sell me nonsense stories...
Go and see the reality.
And if Thailand dont need places as Leks elephant park then who would take care of this handicaped elephant with a broken back? The DNP didnt... The previous owner of this poor creature gave a shit on this elephant as well after the incident he caused and absolutely no one took care.
-
They are destroying forest land...
where is that stated?
their response is aggression
where can u c aggression???
Thai laws protecting elephants and forests.
anyway, good joke here...
by the way, did u hear one of the government guys asking Lek: "Do you have enemies?"
Did u know that another similar sanctuaries who criticized the illegal elephant trafficking in Thailand as well were raided, too?!?
The place who care most and can provide original paper for 90% of the herd and at least copies of the remaining 10% get the problem and places with this rates another way round dont have problems. But yes, TIT...
And how can an elephant older than the elephantnaturepark, blind or with a broken back being captured from the wild? by the elephantnaturepark?
-
I don't get it. if these balloons are so important i would have taken a taxi instead of making a problem like that. They dont look as if they cant afford to pay a taxi, which, with 3 people boarding could have been cheaper as well...
That just proofs that farang sometimes do not act logical as well - same same as the Thais...
-
Sorry but on the enp site you have to pay 12000 bht per week and maximum stay is two weeks IMO this is not good for the animals ,animals get used to people...
This statement as well as many previous ones just show that the people are just guessing around. The elephants there are roaming around within a large area. The main work of volunteers there is to prepare the food for the elephants. As you can imagine they need tons of food day by day. Volunteers are not used to be a mahout for the elephant, so the elphants never get used to the volunteers.
And how to get a blind or a elephant with a broken back back to the wild? They just need a place to build up a group with another elephants. Handicapped elephants stay together and support each other as they are highly socialised animals.
Of course i dont know at all about the profits of this park, but to buy old elephants, to feed them daily properly and so on cost money. At least one thing is for sure: as volunteers are around 24/7 its it can be out-ruled that they tell the people how great the park is and behind the scenes its just the opposite.
How can it be that in neighbourhooded elephant camps who are working 100% only for profit are dozends of unregistered elephants and no one is interested but a park who can provide papers on all elephants is raided one time after another:
An video of what's going on shot at such a raid...
Condo Renovation In Bangna / Recommendation For Worker Needed...
in Bangkok

the service fee is 22 baht/m2. i thought thats good. friends with a condo at suk 101/1 pay 1300 baht for 37 m2.
anyway i didn`t know that the service fee depends on the location as it should cover the security, general costs like maintaining the pool and so on and do the maintenance for the building, right?
but i also have to say that i do not have to much experience with these things. before we have been member to a sportclub and paid about 1500 baht/month for the membership, now for just 400 baht more we have our own sportclub in the house and the service for everything else is paid as well :-)
thank u for the advice, i will check out the mentioned decorating office...
