    I read the words.  Household debt to income isnt any better:

    debt to income (first google result)

    France - 95.88%

    England -  123%

    Spain - 95.45%

    USA - 76%

    Either way, pot/kettle situation you got going

    You read badly or you have not found the right WiKi page;
    the percentages that you give correspond to the debt of the countries compared to their GDP;
    and besides the percentage of France is not 95,88 % but 105 %;

    and that of Japan is much worse: 238% of GDP

    2% of Italy is more than a million people.

    If the 60 million Italians are contaminated, it will be counted,

    never forgetting that it will be 1 million people aged at least 80 years, so already at the end of life for the vast majority of them .

    It will not affect the children or the lifeblood of the country.

    All hail the mighty Baht.  Even in times of turmoil, the currency rises--20 Satang in the last 24 hours.  BoT lowers interest rates twice--the Baht still rises.  Granted, western currencies have risen with the pandemic.  But the last 24 hours seems like the bad old days...

    The baht can even go up to the sky if it wants to.
    Western economies are exploding through the imbecility of their rulers.
    To whom will the Thai people sell what they produce?
    Except in China, nobody else .. and it won't happen because
      the chinese already produce all that Thailand produces and for much less expensive, that is likely to do very badly to thailand.

    I am not sure that the sale of a few thousand tonnes of durian could put an end to the crisis that is coming.

    tell that to the hundreds of F105 and F4 pilots incarcerated by the animals in the Hanoi Hilton and only doing their duty to the best of their ability.

    You don't lack air, man!
    What was the USA doing in this mess?
    Since 1945, everywhere where you wanted to defend your freedom which is not that of the others you took a beating.

    Yes, you got the French out and refused them the help they asked for during the siege of Dien Bien by making them understand that you, the USA, were going to show them what to do and how to do it.
    We saw the result ..

    Low profile, please /

    OMG. You have to feel sorry for the policeman/policemen dealing with this. Imagine being put in this situation in Thailand????

    Could be career ending or even worse life threatening.

    I will not be so categorical; the provinces are very independent from each other;
    and it would be enough for the governor of Mukdahan to have a tooth against that of Pitsanulok for his daughters to spend a few days behind bars.

    They were displeased on being interrogated and told the police they were daughters of a governor in Phitsanulok province.

    When you are part of the elite you show the example.
    What seems to me is not really what we do with these two impolite young ladies.

    I hope that the police officers made them blow in the thing in order to be able to put them in cell of degreasing.
    Oh ! The loss of face in perspective when they arrive home! :cheesy:  in a few days or weeks ..

    The coach says that people who have a debt should come up with payment plans before it turns into a bad debt.

    He should start by touring Thai banks to explain something very simple in force in most developed countries:
    prohibition to lend money to a person or a family who already has an outstanding personal debt reaching 30% of his or her monthly income.
    It would avoid seeing all these officials who have outstanding debts sometimes exceeding 80% of their income.
