  1. I regularly fly to BKK from Perth and have loved the 787 we had before. Last trip was on the A330 and it was crap !  It is so noisy in comparison and the seats are not as comfortable. Do not get a window seat. We always sit around row 50 at the back but their is plenty of engine noise. However it is convenient for the toilet and galley.  Food has gone right downhill and so has the service. Will look at flying Scoot via Singapore in future. To book your ticket always use AM Holiday Travel. They are the cheapest and the best. Run by Thai people.

And your home country will go up the same.

It is ridiculous for people to say how expensive Thailand is now they do not understand economics.

Inflation should be a big part of your financial portfolio planning.

But most here have no idea what I am referring too....

The Australian Dollar has dropped below 22, when a few years ago it was 32.  That alone has devalued me by over $250,000.  There are many items that are more expensive than in Perth.  I have decided to stay here. Will just go to Thailand to visit family. Forget all the touring and renting cars, costs a fortune now.

Regarding their ticket prices not being increased ,seems that lowering the free baggage limit to 20 kg, and the fact they are the most expensive fares into Australia while food quality and service has dropped, they made a wise decision.

Flying from Perth Air Asia are more expensive and takes much longer.  Thai are always the most efficient airline from here. and cheap if you go to the right travel agent (AM Holiday Travel).   Convenient take off times and less than 7 hours. Don't care about the drop in food quality on a short flight.  Shame we have lost the 787 and got noisy A330 back for good.
