We always get the morning flight which gets in about 3.30 and there is never a big queue at that time. Even better when we fly straight up to Chiang Mai at 5.20.  No queue at all as you go through immigration at the domestic end.

He is just a tall guy with muscles. No way is he a fighter !  Just watch the first attack by the little guy. He doesn't know how to block or avoid the swinging helmet. A fighter would never pick someone up like he did. Could take him out in 3 seconds.

The above list mentions all the things that are fake in Thailand. Yes, and hookers too !!

He has done nothing about stopping the floods and mudslides caused by de-forestation in all the time he has been in charge.  So why should he care now ? He is not really concerned. Its just his way of passing any blame to the local authorities.  Does it all the time.

Interested to know any Aussies particularly travelling from Perth have similar experiences, just about always on Thai Airways and have had no reason to complain when arriving in Swampy or Phuket. So many complaints from other travellers on this forum.

I am from Perth too. We are lucky that we arrive at about 3.30 which is a quiet time of the day. Never had any big problems with immigration in about 40 visits. Another bonus is there is a connecting flight to Chiang Mai at 5.20 so that is very convenient. Also coming home on the 7.20 flight is a good time too.

There is absolutely nothing special about Pai. Yes, it is a nice drive and a good place to relax, but it has no wow factor. We only go to see wifes brother and to take our friends elephant for a play in the river for a few hours. Worth going just for that !

They are working on the next model which will have 10 cameras and no phone !  Can only do text messages !

Just read in the paper today about how Malaysia imported about 700,000 tons of plastic from many countries who use it as a dumping ground. When the illegal factories have picked out what they can recycle, they burn whats left !!!
