  1. Stupid question: If I can get insulin prescribed in Canada, can it be mailed here? Would it be cheaper?
  2. The problem with meds from India is it's so difficult to pay them!
  3. No surprise, our city water comes from the Chao Phraya. The PVC pipes are close to the surface, not buried as in the West. This means hot water when it's hot. Terrible amount of chlorine (take a breath of your tank). We have had a stainless steel three stage water filter. Prefer stainless to plastic. Changed the filters--B 1,500. Ceramic center filter is black and slimy. Water tastes like sh**. Big left filter is some kind of resin beads, right is charcoal, center is ceramic. Reverse osmosis removes all minerals, not so good for health long-term. Any recommendations? Thanks.
  4. Late coming back to this topic. Made appt at CW in person, next one worked online. Go figure. Yes, wait a few days but it's always a gamble not to get caught out & spend a whole day in queue, CW traffic & so on. However, I have read elsewhere that the FIRST 90-day report after a new extension has to be made either in person or by mail. Anyone had such experience? Would be way easier to just continue clicking the magnifying glass! Thanks for your help.
  5. Right, I guess. Good to know the arrival card number is unimportant. The problem seems to be my port of entry. My application was 'pending' for two weeks so I had to go on the last day to avoid the fine. Thanks, Jack. I used the magnifying glass method & change the date of expiry. But nowhere to enter port of entry so it does not appear on completed PDF. Any ideas, please?
  6. Online reporting worked great through 2022. But after my latest retirement extension, the online system failed for me. When I submit my report online, the PDF generated on submission left several crucial items blank such as the tick-box for “NON-IMM”, port of entry (“BY”), and “ARRIVAL CARD NO.” Nothing has changed for me and all other information is correct. This means a whole day, at considerable expense, to get to Chaeng Wattana, and wait in the endless queue if one is not lucky enough to secure one of only 14 five-minute appointments in one’s allotted 10-day reporting window. The IO at this desk obviously did not ‘update’ my data in the online system. Surely there must be a way to correct one’s data!?! Anybody know? Ubonjoe? Thanks in advance! (Takes me awhile to get back to TV these days...)
