The Canadian Embassy proved themselves as useless as usual. I went in at the appointed time and had to wait an hour because they couldn't find the consul. When they did, she said it was not the Embassy's business to notarise Canadian powers-of-attorney! Last week, I went to the US Embassy to renew my passport. I had a similar Power of Attorney to be notarised. $75 and five minutes! At the appointed time... This is why I need a Canadian lawyer, practicing or not, in Bangkok, as expat or tourist. Anybody know one? Christopher G. Moore??

I have not seen such a form, Jack. When I get my bank letter, I ask the bank to make me a photocopy of my bankbook. Of course, as usual, Immig requires original bankbook, too.
