  1. In January 2009, CNN investigations revealed that up to 1,000 Rohingya refugees from Myanmar had been captured by the Thai Navy, beaten, then towed out to sea without engines or navigational aids and with little food and water. Abhisit's initial response was to claim that the media reports were "exaggerated" and that the refugees would "sail on boats without engines or sink their ships so that authorities help them to get onshore." Army Commander Anupong Paojinda denied the reports of abuse.

Abhisit enacted measures that required approximately 1.5 million migrants to register with the government under a new time-consuming system that involves verifying the " migrants " identities with their home governments, or be " arrested " and " deported " ( deported see above ).

    What's the count again? :)

Humans are all of flesh and blood but 2500 THAIS trump a thousand refugees anytime. I know it sounds cold but turning away FOREIGN refugees is no where close to the murder of 2500 citizens.

And so what if the migrant population has to register? If they're not verified, they're deported. So what? You make it sound like every illegal immigrant that's deported is towed out to sea. Riiiight.

The UN panel failed to establish sufficient evidence to charge Thaksin or anybody in the Cabinet or police force with the murders.

    The 2500 number came " after " the 2006 coup...what a coincidence :D

So what? Every human live is the same isn't it? You'r saying their lives ( refugees ) is worth nothing.

  2. Abhisit just tries to safe his $ss, because he know's wen he resigns, his life is over.

    Stupid "vision"! Get real.

Get real? Mmmm...let's see, where to start? :)

    - Almost starting a war with Camobodia over a stupid temple?

    - Dumping refugees out in the ocean to torture and then die?

    - Introducing computer crimes act?

    - Southern problems increased drastically?

    - Drug problems increased drastically?

    - Working together with the criminal Sondhi?

    - According to CRES has taken illegal donations?

    - Not allowing the Dalai Lama into Thailand?

    - Deportation of Hmong refugees back to Communist Laos ?

    - Rejecting human rights commisions?

    - Need to go on?

Thaksin murdered 2500 Thais and he's still around. He has done other shit of course but 2500 dead Thais I think tops the list.

  3. more propaganda from the nation rag. its truly one of the worst papers i have ever come across on the planet.

http://en.rsf.org/surveillance-thailand,36673.html This is a link to reporters without borders report about Thailand. They say Thailand is under surveillance for restricting internet access. Also some interesting information about Abhisit, read it and he might not seem quite such a nice boy as everyone seems to think.

    Interesting link

  5. Another day gone and no action WHEN IS THE GOVERNMENT GOING TO BRING AN END TO THIS fuc_kING MUPPET SHOW???????????

It hurts tens of thousands of Thais and expats who are trying to make an honest living out here

Herm my friend. The gov is the muppet show and hopefully thaksin will bring it to an end before he dies. if not, somebody else will because it cannot survive this even if they clear the streets tonight.

And don't get exite about south police do dirty work. they number not a lot and have many army and police from north in bangkok will stop them.

so tens of thousands in high end malls and big shops inconveience. haha, go live in Isaan for 2 months then come back and moan you cannot buy calvin cline and see naked lady on stage (also illegal but falangs don't mind that sort of illegal do they)

Somebody please tell me that was an attempt at humour :)

    he's right

  6. Common guys ! It's not Thaksin who's the bad guy, Sondhi and his club are. You are all falling for the propaganda the Thai " Goverment " is spitting out.

This is a war between Thaksin and Sondhi supporters.

Sondhi is a right winger, how can right wingers be for Democracy? They never where... They caused great wars

Remember bloody may 1992? Sondhi was behind this.

Remember 2005? Sondhi started " PAD " Because he said he was loosing money because of Thaksin having the media in his faviour. PAD was the major player in the 2005–2006 Thai political crisis that led to the 2006 military coup that toppled the Thaksin government.

    Remember 2008/2009 Airports/Govermenthouse ? PAD

"Thaksin failed on the populist movement and now I think he has resorted to some sort of assassination attempt."[54]

Kasit revealed that he had planned to have lunch with the Sondhi on the day of the attack. Kasit also claimed that himself, Abhisit, Finance Minister Korn Chatikavanij, and Deputy Prime Minister Suthep Thaugsuban were planned targets for assassination, and that he was guarded by several fully armed marines.[55][56]

Meanwhile, Thaksin had the following to say:

It's [the Abhisit] government that has been given the license to kill [due to the state of emergency]. And I have the impression that the phase of "cut-off killings" has begun -- in other words, they are eliminating anyone who knows too much about the conspiracy of those in power against me.[57]

  7. hmm, wonder how he comes back. Served on a silver tray with a red tomato in his mouth?

Black and white stripes .. complete with handcuffs and legcuffs?

Its fair to say your statements are nonsense. If and when Thaksin comes back, there will be so many red shirts at the airport to welcome him that there won't be anyone with a handcuff anywhere near Suvarnabhumi. That's just realistic thinking.

And it might come true soon

  8. Ever wondered?

Q: "Why do most farang men die before their Thai wives or girlfriends?"

    A: "Because they want to...!"

    :)

Uhm everywhere in the world woman naturally get on average 10 years older than the male sex. :D
