Yes I have been through all these places and they are not sure what it is, generally because it is not something they come across here. Phase Change cooling is not readily available here.
What about an Automotive Spares shop .. Are they any good ones around in BKK and where?

I have been trying to locate some Dielectric Grease for my PC system.. does anyone know where this is or some good equivalent which can be sourced in BKK?

I find there is a huge difference with True between off-hours and prime time. This morning at around 9:30 a.m., I was clocking at 3Mbps. Tonight, at 10:00 p.m., I'm getting 100Kbps. Must be more home users out there surfing in the evenings. I should probably switch to an SME package I guess, if I want high speed at night.
PD: I have a home True account at 512K, and found that I was consistently getting less than True stated performance.
Calling True was an interesting experience
and after lots a Q's and "we will send a engineer to you..." Convincing them that this would not be necessary as it too is what I do... I found that they reset my account and now I get greater than charged rates often > 1Mb What I have been using is this site Line Speed Meter to test and track the history of my link.. So on some days True service just sucks... but now generally it is good.... Just have to wisper in their ear

Have finally located a place that sells the Thermaltake gear. In Pantip on the ground floor - RH side (looking in). They also have a web site with some of thier gear.... Jedi. Now to plan that upgrade !!

My next PC will be an AMD 64+ with SLI capabilities and a NForce4 mother board.... I know, I know, I am SO hallucinating. Not that I have that much time to play.
Well I'll let you know what I find at Pantip... I have yet to fully search this place and maybe wll need to import (hand carry) some bits in to get the right build and quality. It would appear that ur looking at the same spec machine as I wish to build.. will be good at the LAN parties

An interesting point to note is that there is no such thing as overkill... can one have too much memory (not brain cells) or CPU horse power? - it will come down to how deep into your wallet wish to go and how serious about gaming.
GPU is only part of the picture and there are alot of other factors to be considered. Sarting with the case - airflow, internal storage
PSU - is 500 Watt really enough?
MOBO - chipset and CPU socket
CPU - AMD or Intel
RAM - DDR / DDR2
GPU - SLi support
Drives - Qty, size, speed, SATA
Sound - Can you drive it through your AC-3 system?
Display - Size and Resolution to be able to show that GPU quality
Does anyone know why you can purchase Thermaltake cases and PSUs? As I am looking at upgrading my system

). I guess we posted this in the wrong forum... so we are no further enlightened for the next time... Situation: Quiet balmy night in 'sunny' Bkk, just slipping out for a few quiet ones, stop at the servo and then off to the local. Meet up with some mates and watch a race, eat and then back home... problem - not drunk therefore must be someone else (another woman). Mia wishes to return home up north - Q: How can you survive alone in BKK, therefore you must have Mia Noi - Stab.

Well this is not a what if
, so he has not gone to seek any medical attention for the fear of the police getting involved. It was a stabbing, missed the heart by about 30mm, with a broken bottle... and the reason, because he does not have a mia noi... .... Oh the thinking minds .... I guess he has been very lucky.. no glass remained in the wound, no cracked ribs and there are no ducks around either!!

then the doctors are obliged by law to inform the local police. The question is do doctors or hospitals in LOS have to make a report to the police if they suspect any fowl play?Here is the scenario:
A mate has recently being the recipient of a stabbing from a LOS national and is concerned if by going to the hospital for treatment, they will contact the police for ‘further enquiries..’ something no one wishes on anyone ...

Agree with you. My Canon works a treat too and the battery (Li-Ion) lasts a good full day - can shoot 400+ pics before needing a top-up and by then your back somewhere to download them to your other power hungry machine.

Agree that those solutions would help condensation for the general cases.. this however is what is considered Extreme Cooling .. that is the CPU is frozen to -27 to -30C at Idle and warms up to around -5 or 0C on full load depending on what speed it is running.
There are already surface mounted +12v (10w) heaters directly on the backside of the Motherboard and on the inside of the Clamshell that hold the Evaporator head onto the CPU. The dielectric grease is to stop the small amount of condensation that can form in and around the CPU from creating a short circuit, under these conditions.
As it turns out - I found some at HomePro, where previously they had none - Super Lube synthetic grease and works a treat.
