My business is legit and in operation 15 years, 7 in Thailand via my website.

I know of 2 old guys here.

One a rotund italian man in his late 60's who works his charm and sets the mood by buying his girlfriends plenty of ice cream. He says thai girls like nothing better than licking the nuts off a large neapolitan.

Another guy, English, about 70, very active but quite grumpy when on the phone to his girlfriends. However he says Thai girls have no trouble handling his testy calls.

I sell Jewish wedding contracts that most Jews are required to have for the spiritual part. I'm the broker b/n the artists and buyers. My buyers have loads of wedding expense and don't wish to compensate the artists for their hand crafted wares. It's not a major amount of people but I do lose about $2000USD/year in people doing charge backs because they don't want to pay for something that they can already see but not touch online. An eye for an eye.

Step 1: Open bank account.

Step 2: Open PP account and verify your account.

Step 3: Connect account to your website.

Step 4: When charge back occurs, offer to send your client a certified cheque which will arrive in 5-7 days.

Step 5: Empty your PP account.

Step 6: Remove PP account and add standby account to your website.

Me thinks GM gets some fringe benefits of doing his show. No wonder he rides past all the bars. It's cleverly not balloons he's chasing...

Any bar with UBC platinum package will show it. The times are 0900 on the 24th and 2200 on the 26th. If you go to www.truevisionstv.com they have a search function for programs. I only have the gold package so I have to wait a few days to watch it. Even then they only show about three fights broken into several episodes rover a few days.

I've confirmed with the owner that Metro Apartments on Soi LK Metro will be showing it. This is the only AC bar on the block that will show sports.

I'm a former multi month resident of Shagwells. I haven't set foot in there in a few years. I'm not sure why the place is a graveyard but I too have noticed it's awfully quiet in there. In their defense, there's a large bar complex right next door so one really isn't so reliant on the cobwebbed Shagwell bar anymore (rather than hoofing it down to WS).

The attached Boomerang bar, when I was last there, was a lot of fun with girls gyrating on poles (insert joke) and a great Filipino band doing some amazing Queen covers.

Soi Buakow. Opposite Club Blu but a little south is what is known as the best Thai food in Pattaya. The name is known as the Hole In The Wall even by the owners restaurant. Do not judge it by name or appearance. The portions and taste are quality.

Interesting replies. I'm in this industry since 1995. All legit and a heavily sought after product. The consumers want something for nothing. I can't say much more but I guess it adds spice to my life being one step ahead. I've opened about 20 paypal accounts and they're all verified. All with Kasikorn bank. I receive an SMS and an email whenever I receive cash.

I feel unsafe on the beach at night. I've been here reading the news for too long. It seems people can and do get away with a lot of mischief and we are targets. I'd stick to 2nd road (God that hurts).

My room is 48 square meters on WS side and I like it too. 16,000/month on a 1 year lease paid monthly. Water is condo billed and electric is govt paid at 7-11. Try using www.condo6.com. My landlord is living in America and very helpful as is Condo6 who have an office in the lobby.

The building is always being maintained. The landscaping and pool are beautiful. My only gripes are no chairs at the pool and the lack of light and security near the motorbikes. My girlfriend often asks the guard to escort her to her bike.

The condo staff aren't very friendly. They are unsupervised Thais and go by their own rules in my opinion.

My product is sent to my customers by email. I have samples on my website so there should be no surprise to them. However once they receive the product that I've manufactured, they sometimes cry foul and run to their credit card companies for a charge back so they don't have to pay me.

How I counter this:

-I get paid by paypal who would debit my account if there is a charge back.

-I constantly keep my paypal balance at zero.

-I keep the attached Kasikorn bank account balance at zero. Always moving money into another account as soon as it comes in. I am notified by email and SMS!

-Now my money is safe but I'll lose the paypal account when paypal notifies me I owe Mr. AAA $x.

-However, Kasikorn bank allows people to open an infinite number of accounts which are all attached to paypal so this is how I keep my shirt from the fleecers.

Clever but tiring....

Well, I don't particularly like the ones in the photo. Not a big fan of the lettering type tattoos.

But that's just my opinion.

If they're done well and have some kind of design to them then I like them. What I don't like too much is a series of 'badges' or several different designs placed randomly over someones arms. legs, wherever.

Just out of interest, does anyone know where to get of copy of the Thai Penal Code ? and perhaps even a copy of any Traffic Code ?

If we knew the laws ourselves, we could challenge any spurious ticketing as it does seem that few police actually know themselves what the law says specifically.

Please don't offer remarks about these not existing as I know they do.

I've seen the former in Thai and English recently in the hands of a Thai lawyer and should have asked him at the time.

I am convinced someone has it in for me because I've asked my friends and nobody else is getting as many flat tires which I only discover once the bike has been in my condo's garage for some time (Viewtalay 6 Condo in Pattaya).

I don't know who I've pissed off but I'm also considering it might be the bike.

Stand in front of Mike Shopping Mall beach side if you want to watch the daily jet ski scam. Everyone knows about but won't stop it so don't expect a revolution by proclaiming what we (on this board) all already know.

We've all seen couples in Thailand with massive age discrepancies. He can easily be her grandfather yet he's got a proud walk, a twinkle in his eye, and with a little luck, a ------ in his pants while he walks down the street and turns to enter his hotel with his new found adolescent companion.

I'm a long term expat but I still sometimes cringe but I also feel joy for the ol' fella. We should all be so lucky.

I think the Jews will be spending more time at The Village Chinky (the much discussed Chinese restaurant slated to open sometime this century).

There are dozens of buffets but if you don't mind spending a little more, try The Marriott's nightly buffet. The hall is nice as is the food and display. Approx 1000 baht while most are under 200 baht.

While it looks tempting I refuse to pay VAT or SC on top of menu price. 99% of the restaurants include that in their price.
