Russia cannot be defeated by either Ukraine or NATO. Perhaps a peace of some sort can be achieved. The alternative is WW III.  And once that happens, we won’t get a do over.  Anyone not worried about that is delusional.  

Some reports are saying russia has enough money for four more months of this.

After that the bag is empty,maybe some trading arms for oil and gas but the infrastructure of russia is slowly collapsing.

Many remote areas are still under developed and the workers that are needed to do maintenance are dying in the Ukraine!

Not because these people are defending their country but because of one little man who is

all set to impose his will on other countries.

Russia will defeat itself,the worst kind of defeat.

The Ukraine will not run out of weapons again and once the bridge is gone some one inside russia

NATO is not an offensive force,it will only protect its borders and if one of their members is attacked the whole of NATO will respond as one.

NATO has not expanded,countries are free to ask for membership.

Did the Ukraine ask to be part of the new russia?

No it was attacked because of the ego of one little man.

Did NATO break a promise?Not in my view but russia did!

Russia is the one that is bringing more countries to join NATO!

Now send all that stuff to the Ukraine in a hurry so they can kick the russians out.

This is a game changer,soon also F-16's and then the Crimea bridge can be taken out! Air dominance will make a very big difference.

I am sure unforeseen things can happen but this is a much overdue step by the US government.
