This really is becoming more farcical by the day. The Government making more empty threats, the Red shirts making sillier demands.
I am waiting for tomorrow when the Red shirts demand Abhisit and Suthep to walk hand in hand the whole length of Sukhumvit, stark boll@ck naked, and then they promise to go home.
Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee, say well for the good of the country we will do it. They do it and then the Red Shirts say Ah but you went the wrong way!!!
Its ridiculous, country being held to ransom, Govt too weak to do anything.
Send the tanks in, enough of the procrastination. Red Shirts are deliberately taking the p!ss
completely agree give em 24 hours warning that army going and gonna use force hopefully women and children leave anyone that stays deserves all they get...........

if the reds are on the verge off going home why have 2000 more arrived from kon kaen i fear this is not over and again force will be needed maybe tommorow will tell

500 for 5 weeks hey your friend best save some more money no point coming to the country on that budget okay can sit on beach for few weeks and spend no money you will get bored with that plus rain comes soon so not possible everyday ,too many people travel on tight budget and cannot see the country and get out to all the beautiful places due to lack off funds either save more money or travel for shorter time you dont want to be here worrying about every baht you do or dont spend thats what you do in your home country your supposed to be on holiday enjoying and relaxing not worrying......................

I for one am never happy when peep's dont give me a full idea of thing's I ask for. I think you should work out your cost's. 1. hotel about 500bt, 2. food 400. eating Thai stall's only. 3. M/C 250. a day with fuel. 4. beer. 60bt for one at 7/11. water and you'll need load's, 5. going out to the odd bar ???? I could go on & on, you add it up and you have less than 1000 bt a day. And that's without any traveling cost's.
since when is a beer 60 bht in 7/11 id say more like 25 to 30 bht if 1800 is just for 6 weeks you will have no problems i have travelled thailnd for 6 months before my spending was about 1000 gbp per month this was averaging 400 bht accomodation and drinking quite alot

Ok newbie, obviously you have not read the forum rules, they can found at the top of the page. You can find up top there on the red highlighted button that says "Forums" Here's an excerpt:

is it because tv is sponsored by the nation that you have this silly rule

I have to think your Irish pubs will have you covered. Check in at Paddy's and also the Irish place that is on the beach road in the back, I'm forgetting the name as they charged me 100thb for Sangsom and soda (usually a 50-60thb drink). But they have numerous TV's, footy going all the time.
well i was in the other irish bar in ao nang yesterday they charged 40 bht for bottle of water girlfriends mum nearly had heart attack at price will not be going back there........think i just go uk to watch as said need new visa anyway thanks for all replies
