  1. I remember reading a post a few days ago stating that CW Immigration now requires us to enclose an EMS envelope for the return 90 days slip. Can anyone confirm this please? Will a B10 return envelope be tossed into the bin? I have also read reports that the Post Office cannot register an EMS for the return envelope!! As my new 90 days report nears (and I was out of the country in July, so the online system might reject my new application), I am going to do a 'double barrel' report, ie Post the 90 days report 15 days before the due date and then apply online the next day, 14 days before due date. Going to CW is a right pain for me, as I live way on the other side of BKK!! Any thoughts or opinions?
  2. If I post in my next report (October), will the one after that (January) be back in the online system? Surely the whole thing should be linked.
  3. Will that not really eff up the system? 2 different report dates?
  4. My 90 days reminder email arrived today. Your receipt for notification of "STAYING LONGER THAN 90 DAYS" will be due on 06/09/2023. However, I was abroad in July, and my new 90 days starts from when I arrived back in Thailand (making my new report date early October). I presume I should just ignore this reminder email? Will the online system , even though sending out this reminder, accept my new report date in Oct? Thanks to all.
  5. UPDATE Went to CW today and received my extension after 43 days consideration. Thanks to all for your input.
  6. Thanx Tim. I think I'd rather postpone the trip than go thru the rigmarole of applying for a new one!! Anyway, I'm sure all will be ok. Will report back here on 7 June
  7. Thanks to all who commented. Yes, I'm sure everything will be ok when I go for my stamp. Just weighing up the choices if the worst case scenario happens.
  8. Thanks, but once before, many years ago, they told me to come back in another 30 days!! I know I'm being pessimistic!!
  9. Worst case scenario ahead!! I went for my Non Imm O Marriage extension at the end of April, 45 days before my visa expires (7 June). I was stamped to return exactly on 7 June to (hopefully) get another year. I am planning a trip out of the country on 30 June. Worst case scenario, what should I do if the extension is not ready on 7 June, and they tell me to come back on 7 July (or another date) after my planned departure? Would showing an airline ticket at L2 desk help in any way? I think the girls at L2 desk, although being sympathetic, have no sway and may not be able to help. Any advice? Many thanks
  10. Not sure, Tubby!! I had to run downstairs to the bank and ask for it. It took 5 mins and cost B100. Then had to get a photocopy of it. Never even looked at it!! No big deal, just another hurdle I jumped to satisfy the "efficient" IO. It really depends on who you get at the L desks. Sometimes the microscope comes out, sometimes it doesn't. She went thru my docs with a fine tooth comb despite being married for over 20 years.
  11. I don't know if you can download it. It's the form given to you (Thai and English) before you are given a queue number for outside seating.
  12. Updated bank book shown, bank letter given AND 3 month statement required!! Yep, submitted latest 90 days report (2 copies).
  13. Just a quick report on my annual Non Imm 'O' Marriage extension (B400k in the bank) at Chaengwattana today. Everything much the same as last year but with a few differences. 1. Two photocopies of EVERYTHING (passport, wife's ID, marriage certificate, tabien baan, bank letter, KR2 from Amphur, etc) which I had. 2. As well as showing an updated bank book (today's date) showing over B400k and a bank letter (dated yesterday), the IO wanted a 3 month bank statement as well. 3. Photocopies of house photos wanted as well as originals. They caught me out on that one!! 4. I registered my TM30 during the 'purge' a few years ago and submitted a copy of that. No further questions asked about it nor asked to 'update' it. 5. Photocopy of wife's declaration also wanted. This is the form they give you before you get the queue number outside. They caught me out on that one too!! Married for 23 years, 14 of which have been Marriage extension category, but put under the microscope for today's extension. Had to run to the bank for statement and photocopy shop for a few other things, but all in all, went pretty smoothly. While I was waiting, I went to desk L2 to ask what was required for the under consideration stamp next month, and was told passport only. No bank book needed. Guess I'll take it anyway???? So, heads up, get EVERYTHING copied twice and a 3 month bank statement.
  14. I have been doing my 90 days report online report for nearly 2 years now on the new app and never had a problem. When you return to Thailand (with a reentry permit on a Non O visa extension) your 90 days starts upon arrival. What I'd like to know is: Will the online system recognize the new arrival date, and can you complete the new report online 90 days after returning, or do you need to go to CW in person? Thanks to all
