As a side note, the final certificate issued after payment includes a reference to "US Equivalent of $100,000", so feeling a bit more confident now.

I will try it and let you know once I hear back from Thai embassy here in Washington DC.

The TGIA "Official" insurance provides THB 3.2 Million coverage. With the change in the exchange rate, this "official" coverage is below $100,000 (now about $95,000). Will this be rejected by Thai Embassy or at arrival in Thailand for being less than the USD $100,000 amount? Do you still recommend this insurance despite this factor?
