I experienced this twice, 30 years ago.  Awoke and couldn’t move, saw shadows in the room and thought I wasn’t alone.  It was frightening because I wasn’t aware what it was.  But it’s not unusual and hasn’t happened to me since then.

I’ve been on Koh Chang for three weeks now, it’s very quiet and relaxing with only a few guests registered at the resorts I’ve been staying.  I wasn’t asked for proof of a test but I entered the Trat province before the requirement and didn’t arrive from a red zone,

They would have saved money if they locked the island down. Usually a lot of Thai families come on the weekend but it isn't happening today.

This has been my most enjoyable visit to KC yet. Only one other room is occupied at my resort and I think they may have checked out this morning, leaving the place to myself. I'm just laying around the pool, ready to go for a swim. 

Anyone for a seafood pizza, some Mango, and a passion fruit mojito?

I recommend Bangkok Hospital Medical Center, they removed my stomach in an emergency operation, sometimes you can’t wait for a government hospital.  For two weeks, they treated me like a rock star (I.e. great drugs and hot women).

They had a fire but it was a falsie alarm.

I was on my Honda Phantom accelerating to about 50 Kph to pass a rusty old pick-up truck.  The next thing I knew, I was standing in a ditch and the guys that were in the back of the pick-up were handing me my broken sunglasses and wrist watch.  There was an ambulance was parked across the street.  I was directed to get in for a ride to get some x-rays and found the motorcycle key in my pocket when I got to the hospital.  I didn’t break any bones but it took over 3 weeks for all the pain to go away and cost me 3500 to fix my motorcycle.  The pick-up truck had evidently made an extremely sharp turn and I rammed it broadside, but have no recollection of the accident.

He’s been crazy for quite awhile 

I remember going into Happy A GoGo in 2005 and there was a Russian couple present along with their kids, twins with coke bottle glasses, nerdy-looking but seemed to really be enjoying the show!
