Thanks for the information and just to get clarity as you seem well informed, its a five year visa with the proviso of maximum stay 180 days leave come straight back rinse and repeat if required for a whole five years with one local immigration extension at 1900 baht or 10k to be confirmed. Are the official qualifying requirements and documents needed for a consulate application listed anywhere? or still too early.

So Its 100% a multi entry 5 year visa for 180 day stays with one local extension at a cost of 1900 baht for a further 180 days.? For a total of 5 years visa validity you can remain in country, but with 6 monthly border runs, for a visa cost of 10 k baht. If living in Thailand with a current retirement visa extension coming up for renewal, is there any way of applying for the DTV without a return to your home country? Can the Thai consulates in Laos issue the DTV?

Pop into MaiThai Guest house located in the South West of the city easy to locate. It has a food bar area by the pool great for lunch etc. The owner is an English guy who is a budding artist ,he has a wall full of paintings many available to buy at very reasonable prices, if none to your liking he would for sure point you in the right direction for other options.

Child drowning tragedy: 11 year old boy loses life in Khon Kaen Pond

What was the need for a photo? totally awful journalism! Most people understand drowning and dont require the article illustrated like a kids comic. -
Thanks for the info soon to book so should work just using my account name. Going to be using it in the UK, called the customer service to confirm activation ok for UK usage and up spending limit, she did warn of 2.5% transaction charge and low exchange rates, guess to be expected better than carrying too much cash until Ive set up a Uk account Wise etc seemingly not so easy to do.

Yes tried with previous Kasikorn card few years back for Thai smile flight wouldnt work just paid cash at 7/11 with Qr code sent to me. This time its Thai Airways international booking site and no option to pay in cash at local stores etc although Thai smile offer this option for domestic flight down to Bkk. But from the responses it seems if i enter my account name i will have no problem, next day or when take the plunge will see, have to increases my transaction limit first ...air fares are outrageous...... but calling Kasikorn call center today waiting waiting waiting....no answer likely because holiday Sunday.

Possible idea if you just pop into some local docs cllinics with the standard form, for myself many times over the years the doc just signs stamps it negative for hiv, elephantiasis, TB , syphilis etc without doing the actual testing, you pay 100 baht or so ...its done........ but things perhaps have changed now and if knowingly positive .... a moral issue i guess.

Thanks for responses this is being done on a laptop I dont use a mobile kasikorn app. So in short using your account name will be tracked matched by software to the card number and transaction completed ......to be confirmed or otherwise soon. Any one used this card for airline ticket or anything else on line without problems?

I have a recent kasikorn bank debit card activated for online purchase at atm by bank staff. i wish to use it on the Thai Airways site for ticket purchase, did a dummy run to payment stage clicked the debit card logo, It requires as mandatory cardholders name , card number, 3 digit security code and expiry date. However the card is nameless just has privileged member on the card. Under the mandatory cardholders name field do you simply type in your own name or privileged member? seems not an option to leave the box unfilled. Anyone used kasikorn debit card recently for Thai Airways or Thai Smile with success?

I have the generic Kasikorn Bank email which shows the green picture regarding the new security measures on the banking app. I only use KBIZ online for phone top ups etc and small transfers only using my laptop. i do not have any banking apps installed on laptop or my phone and dont want any of the apps think they are the security risk themselves. Since I dont have the mobile app installed and dont make transfers or purchases over 25k can I safely do nothing. Or is it mandatory for even the most minor of transfers using online banking on my laptop? currently they just send an sms ref number to my phone which i need to complete transfers this suits me fine. Will max Atm withdrawals 25k be affected. Thanks for any advice.

No I always carry a spanner and a rope ladder in case of an urgent need to adjust my nuts or make a quick exit.

Are you a hunting, fishing, camping, arm wrestling all action sort of guy? or do you just like to carry a knife at the ready in the urgent need to peel some fruit.... during a round of golf.

When mental illness grips you as in severe depression and total hopelessness it is a horrendous situation often with dire consequences as in suicide. Its not a joking matter and the Im alright Jack brigade should save their flying club comments! You never know when your own life can take a sudden catastrophic downward spiral and cause a severe physical or mental health deterioration. Have a great day.

Isnt it also Thai law now that if you film someone in public you have to get their permission to publish that footage on social media platforms.....but very difficult to enforce.
