I've had the same SIM card for a few years but I wasn't able to return to Thailand in the last year and my sim is about to expire. I've had some friends load 100 baht on to it but it only extended one month. I have extended it for a year previously, how do I do it again? 300baht at one time seems to ring a bell with me.

The app will only open if you click on a link on a HTML newsletter. Are you using text based emails?

I'm using jelly bean with pop email client and gmail. The newsletters come in HTML.

I sent those URLs to myself to test.

This app has never opened up newsletter links for me. For instance, this link from a recent email newsletter. A direct link such as www.Thaivisa.com will open the app. But not this typical url from the newsletter.

We have the exact same skytrain system in Vancouver. Never heard of such an incident here. BTW the Bangkok system is newer and has aircon carriages.

First I'd reboot the router and/or use another device wirelessly (smartphone) and see if it connects. Know heat is a killer and routers only last a few years.

Can't believe how some of you are downplaying this article and AIDs in general. Scaremongering is dam_n necessary to drill the consequences home to people, most of which as the article states think it will never happen to them. And exponential infection is a staggering reality. People are dying and infecting others at an extreme rate, the numbers speak for themselves if even only partially correct. This is a deadly epidemic and the human cost is staggering.
