  1. I have currently lost 3 stone.

    have been eating:

breakfast - homemade spicy cabbage and veg soup

lunch - piece of meat with as much salad or veg as i want

dinner - something light and low in calories beans on toast etc.

snacks - fruit occasional pck of crisps

    drinks - tea, coffee, water

also started jogging every over day.

key is to keep calories intake lower, i am eating approx 1700 per day through good food.

    good luck.

  2. Hi Guys

My wife and I are bringing our one year old to Korat.

Rather than the hassle of buses i was wondering if any one had any numbers for companies in Korat that did a taxi service to Pattaya.

If so any idea on prices.

    Thanks in advance

    Chris

  3. Hi guys

I am coming back to Pattaya in March with the wife and 15 month old daughter.

Given the age of my daughter i don;t realy want to stay in a hotel and would prefer a serviced appartment idealy with bedroom/living room/kichen and bathroom.

I have contacted Disna Oasis but there rooms as above are fully booked.

I have managed to find Amari Nova Appartments that offer this but just wondering if there are any others out there?

If so names would be good.

    Thanks in advance.

  4. New Zealand v Wales, NZ by 10, with Biggar starting at 10 can see a more expansive game from Wales however can see an intercept try as he passes the ball way to flat sometimes when it isnt on.

Australia v Ireland, Ire by 4, Ireland will be fired up after teh NZ score

Argentina v France, Arg by 3 - Frnce arn't the best travellers if Arg can keep it tight can see a shock.

South Africa v Italy, Boks by 30 - played badly and still won well last week.

  5. Scotland are far from the most entertaining team in the world but impressed with what Andy Robinson has done he has made them difficult to play against and they are starting to win games that a couple of seasons ago would have gone against them.

To win back to back in Argentina is no easy feat but the Argies are not the force they were at last world cup.

  6. Yep Well done England, Aussies only have Gitteau to blame.

Tri Nations will be good this year, time for all three to bring through a couple of new faces with world cup round the corner.

Smart money is on NZ though i feel.

Roll on next week to see if Gatland starts with Biggar at 10 - he needs the international game time.

  7. Donnyboy/Tigerfish

Thanks for the welcome (and links)

Yep well and truly beaten in the second half to many youngsters with no experience to come on and try to steady the ship (and keep the score down)

Interesting game up next will see Oz can get the scrum working and if England can release backs...

I'm not sure we are that far off, we held out own in the Autumn internationals we should have held on to beat SA, lost in the last 10 against NZ and beat the Aussies.

We just need to get rid of our inferiority complex and believe we can win against the SH teams. A win in one of the SH back yards would do us the world of good.

Great coach in Gatland picking a lot of youngsters and building for the next world cup.

Out of interest whats your team?

  10. Hi Guys

I am going to be in Hua Hin in February whislt the 6 nations is taking place.

Am there for the Wales v England game which is a 5pm kick off in the UK so Midnight in Thailand.

  11. Hi Scotty

My wife had a similar problem when we first came to UK, but managed to land on her feet slightly as she ended up babysitting privatly for someone famous, it seems now that the reference goes further than any qualification.

Privatly is def the way to go though as money is very similar if not better than working in a nursey, the Mrs started by advertising in Tesco etc.

To keep her busy before she got started she did shop work and the local Thia restaurant.

    Good luck

  12. Just cam back from a little wander round the bars.

Was up by Soi Metro just off Soi Diana Inn, and saw it is on a big screen in a bar called metro (another great name(.

Looks quite nice in there and prices looked ok so might plump for that one as im staying at Areca on Soi Diana anyway.

The owner said he is showing rugby in half teh place and football in the other.
