  1. Why would they even try to go against the Normal person being able to petition the courts?

Seems to me they are only trying to make it harder for the average individual to do anything.

Me personally, I believe the whole current government is corrupt to the core and only care about being a monopoly and doing as they please. They could care less about the average Thai citizen. But this is only my Opinion...Take this and 200 Baht and you can get a cup of coffee, maybe..

Then again I think all Thai governments or all governments are only in the positions for themselves including my country USA>

Don't slam me as this is a forum and I am only posting my thoughts....

  2. I shopped around the different websites of individual airlines when I had lots of luggage recently. Not all will accept Kg32, on some airlines it will cost very expensive (Thai Airways charge an exorbitant price / Kilo if I remember right, I had to ask twice if I was hearing correctly). I rang up the info desks of the few airlines I found that looked ok and got incorrect information, but it was payable.

Sending by freight didn't seem to be an option and I wanted to be near my precious suitcase, not to have fun with customs, storage charges and whatever if I sent it separately.

Mine is just clothes and nothing customs would care about really. I just need to get it to Okinawa so that I do not have to re-buy the clothes later. Does not matter to me how long it takes if not over say 45 days really.

    Thanks

  3. This is another populist policy that will only put the farmers in more debt than they are in now...(MOST) Thais dont worry about tomorrow or the future, they only think of how to get ahead today! Sad but true.

I lived in Essan and they do not need to have resources for borrowing any more money......They are way into debt already...

Wake up and let the farmers know what is next when they cannot pay the bills.....

  4. I have spent allot of time in Phuket and I can say without a doubt, that NO outsider can come into Phuket and DO ANYTHING without the approval and blessings of the Phuket Mafia and well do do people as well as the government people they have in tow.

Stop blowing smoke and FIRE, CHARGE and JAIL THE CORRUPT PEOPLE NOW! Including Government officials...

If you dont take action now you will not be able to take action later unless a lot of innocent people are caught in the middle....

Look at all the publications that are put out by THAILAND People, that say foreigners can own land, property etc...No Farang did this...

  5. Nothing happened at my place and am behind Pantip

Thanks for the reply, I live is the Sansiri development just down the street from wat buakwan.

I did see that every see that everywhere else was fine, looked like we were the only ones affected.

I live behind the mall in the Lumpini Prachacheun Condos and we had nothing happen if that helps..

  6. Why does the Police and Government let these protest affect others livihood? Why not make Sanum Lang or Lumpini Park the ONLY places where rallys can be held?

Why let the people dictate what they will and will not do?

Get control of this country now!

Too many times the people block roads, put obstackles on the road etc. and then some person comes out and say OK we hear you, now please go home and unblock these roads....Then in 2 months the same happens again..

If you let a child believe that if he/she cries and throws a tantdrem then they can have there way then they will always do this to get what they want...

  7. Stay with BudgetCar, but don't drive it back to Bangkok but to Korat. At TescoLotus there is a BudgetCar office. I did it many times. It's a little hussle to return the car in Korat, but it is far better than driving back into BKK. Buses from Korat to BuriRum are no problem.

Thanks as this is most likely the route I will take and then just catch a train back to home. Plus I can use the truck a couple days at home to take everyone to Big C etc...555

Budget seems to be good as they even came to my condo in Nonthaburi to pick the truck up at no extra cost.

    Again thanks for the inputs..

  8. I need to rent a truck (Self Drive) to go from Bangkok to Buriram.

Need to drop the truck off in Buriram as I will not be coming back to Bangkok. (So one way)

Last time I rented a truck from Budget and went to Buriram and then back to Bangkok, but this time I just need to go one way. (to Buriram)

Any ideas? Any experiences? Hopefully someone has a cheap connection somewhere.

I stay in Nonthaburi if that matters.

    Thanks

    Dan
