Just make sure your not chewing gum when you get in a Taxi
-
Is it a river or sewage?

They maybe his rules, but I wonder how many LAWS he breaks, from roadworthiness, to driving....
-
I spent more time teaching and double checking staff work than doing my own job
When the time was right, management removed me and put the person I trained (Thai) to take my position
Never again...
-
The problem is that they are not trusted to do anything
Changes have been made, but the Taxi system, still refuses fares, still fail to use meters
Perhaps they should all fall in line and obey the rules first.... Then they can make demands...
Till then, why trust them them, when many still go against the rules?

Many of my Expat friends with young kids are leaving Thailand, simply to make sure their kids are getting a worthy education, that capable of standing up in any country. (I am leaving too_
They seem to all state the same reasons.
Their kids are not bright, however most of them are the smartest in the class... My 2 (8 and 13) are the brightest in their class, yet, when I give them some of the Aussie schoolbooks aimed at younger students, they fail miserably
Thailand needs to stop giving Gold Stars to teachers and start setting some real qualifications that are a must for teaching. If teachers need to retrain, then so be it....

Many kids have scooters and ride them illegally.
Having to travel a few more minutes to a place to get alcohol is not such a big issue
Why are the kids getting pissed?
Bored?
Dont have proper morals?
Need to unwind after a day of conflicting education
Tired of listening to Prayut

first thing this country needs to do is begin neutering these idiots so at least they can slow down the stupidity thats in the genepool
-
Its just children being bullies.... welcome to this stupid place
-
Its like living in a country where its ruled by children and run just the same way, down to the last individual...
Yeah, 50 is not old, unless your a child or have the brainpower equal to that of a child

Sweeping all Foreigners away, along with Free Speech and a good education system for the kids

The only problem the authorities have is.. who will fix it...
Might take a few months of paper work, back and forth to come up with a dept that will handle the fix.. then a few more months for funds for the fix and after that...
They just need to remember what the money they just got was for.... Perhaps it was for new computers for the office?
-
A fine thats so big that they have many sleepless nights, trying to figure out how to pay it.... is a simple solution...
-
Burning witches and bus drivers is not allowed in Thailand... is that right?
-
Proud little buggers.. arent they
But their greatness is just an illusion of how pathetic they really are.. after all.. the big boy says they are smart
-
Let him play on the streets...
As for mom... what did you expect, when you probably let him grow up to be.... Hang on.. 20... this little turd is 20.... BAHAHAHAHA

A thug with a new gun... this should be interesting

Its amazing how Gullible, uneducated and devoid of simple reasoning some people can be.
However, that sometimes seems to be the norm for Thai people and the higher up, the lower the IQ is
I have less respect for this place, with every new day.... Going backwards must be the new "Thing" in Thailand

I just purchased a 3D Printer from Gearbest
Its about 5400 THB
The same printer in Lazada is over 13,000 THB and its not stocked in Thailand, but needs to be imported.I dont really trust Thai people and would prefer dealing with a company that is no so up themselves
However... Ive done a lot of trade with InvadeIT and always happy with their service :)

I think this is quite possibly the truth of the matter. The incompetence with which these laws were introduced and the drama created, was absolute evidence that proper research and consultation, which is standard under normal procedure, simply hadn't happened. Some bright spark bemoaned that there were loads of unregistered foreign workers here and the knee jerk reaction caused widespread disruption to multiple industries due to labour shortages. The OP feels that Thailand as a whole suffers because military officers are trying to govern. I agree with that, though taking it a stage further, if they are this incompetent on relatively simple matters, I shudder to think what would happen if these same clowns ever had to actually fight a war.
That would be great to see... :)
It would finally put that Thai smug attitude where it belongs as I believe Thailand has a long deserving slap on the face on its way, to bring back some reality in this country

Im not degrading the kids..... but.... I find this very hard to believe....
I Googled and cant find the results to verify -
How do they know its fake?
I have to ask, because they still cant make the distinction that hair is not a helmet when they see a scooter rider

Being ruled by a person with a double digit IQ is warming
Unfortunately, he had to steal the position of power as the real rulers (the people) are not taken into account.
A Spanish tourist has gone online to issue a dire warning to the Thais about messing up their country

Many of my mates that come to Thailand have also noticed the downward decline and said that this might be the last time they come here.
Thailand doesnt need self righteous expats who condemn a mans clothing or where he is from as I am sure he knows it.
What it needs is people with the guts, Thai and Expat to say it like it is..... How else do things change?
This guy came on Holiday to get away from Spain, to a place he thought is great and as a first timer here, was confronted with the reality of Thailand, which may differ from the brochures and other advertising material he "may" have read.
Kudos to the guy for saying what he did and I hope more begin to post publicly, the state of Thailand, because as expats we may not notice it that much, but Thai people are losing an asset and their future due to incessant governmental talk with inaction and also the uncontrollable stupidity that some of their fellow Thai people show towards the law and common decency!
