Why does cash give you more freedom than swiping with a bankcard ?
It's not about swiping cards. Don't you understand that no cash means nothing can save you???!?
Do you seriously believe that no cash is the best what ordinary people should get? Oh boy, what a brutally brainwashed individual you are. Scary creature indeed.

Shocking you can be so deluded as to think that Thai businesses choosing to go cashless will lead to Chinese domination.
Sad as well.

Its a lot more convenient using cards rather than cash , you can buy what you need without the chore of having to make sure that you have cash in your pocket or looking if there is an ATM close buy .
Like, seeing something in a shop , then walking around trying to find an ATM , then making a withdrawal and taking the cash back to the shop to buy the item and they give you change back .
Much easier just to swipe you card there and then at the check-out, rather than the chore of paying cash
The question is not what is easier to use but to go completely cashless.
Banks, internet, government etc can go bust.... Enjoy your life after that with your cashless cr.p

And less of the ''what you don't understand'' please...
Thai businesses have never chosen cashless. That's in your dreams.
You believing cashless society is what people need is as silly as a donkey being a mathematician.
Scary brainwashed people like you will be the cause of the demise of humankind.
You really don't want to own what you have ?

There seem to be some strange things going on in China and those strange things have no connection to people in Thailand not using cash
And never will? Banks control your money and you think that's safe ☺️
Lol.
You seriously believe that a cashless digital society is what ordinary people need? It won't be exploited by the power? Or it's designed to make your life better?
Lol mate, a sheep is an Einstein compared with you.

It's an interesting question which I have discussed with dozens of Thais. They all claim that farang has always been the white people, Arabs and Asian people aren't considered farang but called different "names," and Africans are the "kon dam" (black person). But they may have been wrong on this.

The (Almost) solution to this problem is to click on many different sellers of the same product....Mix it up between Lazada a Shopee.....Many many very many times at least one seller has a pretty good description of a product.....But on occasion they all suck....And some times Amazon will save the day.....But then again some times Amazon will not save the day with a good description......
True. Finding a good Seller with good and correct product description is like finding a needle in a hay stack.
Not saying, especially on Lazada, the product quality has gone down as Lazada has a policy of "competitive price". They simply decide what they consider competitive regardless of the quality. So if someone wants to sell better quality, they will be excluded from boosts, benefits, advert options etc. Hence, cost has to be reduced in order to satisfy the st.pidest ever policy of an online shop.
We know this as we sell online. If we set a prices competitive, we get more clicks and more exposure. However, some products can only generate loss. Pathetic indeed.
-
Also, bear in mind that many Sellers simply steal product descriptions from each other or from other sources and often have no clue what is exactly the raw material and such.
We've tried it with various products and find it appalling how limited their knowledge is on their own products.
And indeed, many lie about their products. We have often ended up not getting replies upon asking various details both in Thai and English.

Missus had a Fiesta and I can safely say, stay away from it. Felt like it was a toy car. High fuel consumption, gear problems, flimsy internal parts, expensive repairs, got rusty here and there, just to mention a few.

No, that is what a totalitarian one party state looks like.
If your brain isn't up to the task to understand this then I'm sure your therapist can help you understand...
The thread is about whether people are in favour of businesses going cashless or not...less of the conspiracy theory hysteria on this please...
Lost your marbles?

Cashless society isn't what business needs. Businesses can thrive on any payments.
And instead of digital cr.p, local businesses should be promoted and helped where locals support each other and won't need to rely on state and corporation controlled payments.

Just to show you what a completely cashless bank controlled society can lead to.
If your brain isn't up to the task to understand this, there is little the one can do for you.

This is what's happening in China. People are forced to take daily tests, and if you test positive or are a no show, your app turns to yellow and you can't go anywhere, can't buy anything, can't enter any place etc. I bet cashless is enjoyed by those Chinese.
Bloody conspiracy theorists.

It's clear that no one seems to care what's going on. Occasional announcement of this and that and case closed for another few weeks.
It's like a never-ending soap opera.

It's always easy to live anywhere if you have money. Come here poor, and build a life enjoying the "smiles" in the meantime, now that would be an achievement.
Give me money and I'll be happy in Costa Rica, Peru, Vietnam, Portugal etc.... ????

What is an anti-vaxxer?
A person who doesn't want unreliable chemicals that were sourced without transparency?
Excess death rate is crazy high and have never been seen like this before.
Social media is exactly the opposite of what you say, such as allowing all kinds of claims in favour of these chemicals regardless of what "science" is behind it.
