Great advice folks.
How much should I be paying for a decent solid medium sized bike for my 14 year old boy?
-
Where in town can I buy a good solid mountain bike?
-
Can anyone recommend a waxing salon around town?
The missus & kids are moaning that I now look like a gorilla so I though I would surprise them for the holidays.

The child could have be dropped off at Father Ray's or left at a busy hospital or even the front of a busy 7 shop

Does anyone know the best place local that sells ride-on lawn movers or solar lawn mover robots?
-
-
Why would anyone go near them after reading posts here?

Thanks for everybody's help. After reading all of the above suggestions, I really don't know what to do. The guy I am having trouble with creates huge problems in our building. I had no idea how many until I started talking to various people in our building and each person I talked has a new troublesome story about him. The former building manager told me she warned him about his behavior so may times she forgot how many. What to do, how to stop this type of behavior once and for all is the question, and I don't know the answer, which is too bad for every normal person that lives in our building, especially the children.
If you know someone who knows local police then a few regular donations to the Policeman's Annual Ball would be more useful.
You will need this troublesome individual's full name & address then he'll get a knock on the door & be told to keep his neck in or else.
If he upsets the local constabulary then there every chance that they'll discover some law that he will have broken & immigration will get involved.
Best to keep yourself at arm's length to this kind of thing though.
They don't play by the rules over here but be aware that when you fight dirty then it can be difficult to stay clean yourself.
Good Luck!

2 min walk according to gmaps.
When you get there turn either left or right & have a scout about, there are about 80 gold shops along.
There are some really stunning pieces on display in some of the shops.

Which Thai banks are best for receiving funds via wise.com?
I understand that some banks are not aligned with Wise at all & others have low limits on what they will accept.

It popped into my head suddenly !
The place was called the Kitten Club
I just found their channel on Youtube and it was indeed located on ground floor @ Penthouse Hotel.
Does that place still exist ?
Pretty old vids (2011). More than 10 years already.
I'm wondering where all those dream girls are now...
Re-watching that makes me realize how much the girls have changed over the past decade. Makes me smile for some reason.
They actually installed a cctv system that you could watch from your hotel room upstairs & so you could just ring room service & order up whatever you fancied.
They also had themed rooms with swings, big jacuzzies & dance poles etc.
Girls with that kind of talent now work off the internet

I'm kinda far away in Bang Saray but went to get a haircut at shop on corner 332 and Sukumvit.. I have a goatee and mustache, They don't speak much English and I speak enough Thai to get in jail..not enough to get out.. Anyhow the guy cuts my hair and via me excellent Thai and sign language I ask him to trim my stash and goat.. Smoothest darn shave I ever had, and by the time I figured out "he ain't trimming" was too late.. Hot towel and everything.... The wife went into hysterics when I got home....No worries that stuff grows back, its the stuff on top thats thinning'...
Whereabouts exactly is your barber?

I want to ship some furniture to the Republic of Ireland so can anyone point me in the right direction please?
A shipping agent?
Does anyone know how this actually works from point A my house to point B my Irish house?
Would it be better & a damn sight cheaper to bring the stuff to the docks (Laem Chabang, Map Ta Phut etc) & collect from the docks?
Container?
As you can read I don't have a clue how this actually down & what duties might be due.
Google search brings up tonnes of companies but I would like to be forearmed first so that I am not taken to the cleaners.

Every month try a different one ?
I've tried loads my old wrestling friend but the combined knowledge of the thaivisa pattaya forum can cut months of disappointing & poor shaves off that list.

I used to visit a lady in Rompo market every now again for an excellent shave but she has retired & the rest that I have tried are poor.
The one on the left of that S-bend on soi Buakhao near Klang changed staff as well with a dip in form so can anyone recommend a decent barbers please?
I shave myself but like to go once a month for a tidy up around the edges, as I age & my eye sight diminishes then I don't see the random rogue hairs growing in odd places.
The best shaves that I have ever had were in India by a cocked hat but that's too far to go for a dig in the grave.

The car was parked in the wrong spot, this is not a criminal offence but rather a civil offense breaking local parking bylaws.
The owner of the car is liable for the fine.
They have no idea who parked it there & it does not matter unless the car was stolen & dumped there so you are only responsible for paying the fine.
A vast swathe of people driving here don't have licenses which both the police & government know by the amount vehicles on the road & the amount of licences issued.
You will need your passport & visa stamp if you are going to pay & that is a more important issue, I assume that is all in order or you wouldn't be able to get a DL in the first place.
Good luck & ignore the many people who post on here that seem to live in glass houses.

Where is the best place to buy top quality steak to cook at home?
Special dinner for the missus so I want to push the boat out so I am asking about quality rather than value.
Big C Extra has a nice range but are there other options in town?

I live out in the far darkside so always & I mean always have to offer more than the app shows when going home at night as they call renegoiate.
To be fair the prices the app quotes doesn't justify their time & fuel costs when it's late & a long journey.

Good way to get arrested.
Better to buy a blank gun. The noise and flash should be enough to make them feel unwelcome.
I saw a documentary about a gamekeeper in an African wildlife park who was trying to keep elephants away from some crops because the local famers where shooting them.
He came with the ingenious idea of half filling a condom with dried chile powder & sticking a lite banger in then firing it into the air over their heads with a catapult.
Worked a treat & saved the elephants from getting killed.

The missus found a BB gun hidden in our boy's bedroom, he told her that his school friend gave it to him.
What is the actual law in relation to owning or possessing a BB gun?
It's a handgun btw.

I bet you all the Thai bars on Pattaya Tai between 3rd Rd & the Suk were open until it suited them with bands often playing into the early hours.
I would be most unhappy if I had a condo up there & liked an early night.

When Toyota leave then Thailand can make it's own brand of vehicles in the new Thaiota factories.
The same goes for the Thai moon rocket.

It's all in the archives.
I reckon it will get underway within the next 5 years. A lot depends upon the extent of global warming. If it accelerates, like many fear, and the poles melt, it may be earlier.
But back to Pattaya. If there is no sea, surely it will be easier to remove the floodwaters when they occur. As we all know; water finds its own level.
I doubt many people fear that the poles will within 5 years & if they did then this wall will be pointless

Where can I buy wrapping paper around town?
I see little sheets for sale in places but I'm wrapping for 6 children so need a fair amount.
I have too many to be hauling them in somewhere so I'll wrap them myself with the help of the missus
