I tried to call in for a bit breakie this morning but Back Fabrik on Jomtien 2nd rd was all closed up.
There was no sign nor a sinner soul inside.
All ok I hope.
They do a bang up eggs royal with smoked salmon & poached eggs on english muffins with real hollandaise sauce plus their croissants are excellent

Phoenix is a decent kindergarden & has quite a large amount of european & mixed children attending.
Summer school is starting there in March so you can get a taste of what it's like.

No water up here in Pattaya's 'posh' ghetto.
Is anyone else having the same issues?

Same problem.
Any suggestions on a good shop?

I got it done in a little shop by Tescos on Thepprasit Road.
It's by the exit from those outlet shops that never seem to have custom.
There a glazer & bug screen shop next door.
Took 24 hrs & 700THB
They had a load of old tellys & washing machines littering the place.

Try this firm.
I've been using them for many a year & the lady who runs it is well known amongst the higher echelons of local society.
unusual address but she set up there many years before the bars came along

No sign of losing feathers.
We did have a few green shells when they feasted on a load of some kind wild spinach that the missus cut from the nearby klong bank.
Didn't affect the flavour & may even have improved it a little although they are/were arroy.

Can anyone recommend a decent motorbike rental spot on the island?
Something with a few cc's for taking on those inclines.

I don't know what breed they are Speedo but they appear to be mixed bunch.
3 of them are mostly white feathered, bigger that the others & proper bullies.
Feed hasn't changed & we give them off cuts of fresh greens as well.
They seem settled & act as they always have, it's just that we're getting 2-3 eggs every other day now & there's no real way to know who's laying & who isn't without installing 24hr cctv which would include adopting a duck fetish.

I have 19 ducks that are just over 2 years old who were great layers but have recently almost given up the ghost.
I'm wondering if there's a issue with the ducks or something is taking them.
They look & sound well with good appetites so can anyone offer advice before the missus sells them on to a local restaurant?

Does anyone know of a spot that would try to repair a ceiling fan for me?
I think that Numchai just service items that were bought for them.
I bought this about 6 years ago from Homepro

Seconded.
Looks good

Perfect Joe & thanks, they seem to cover all that any sane man would require.

I want to build a decent bbq grill station in my garden so can anyone recommend places to look for equipment please?
-
Yes, glass bottles which leads to higher transportation costs.
Cans would be a better option imo & fit better in my fridge

A little tip is to never clear the shelf.
Always leave one bottle so that staff know to restock.
If you clear the stock then they just see an empty gap & may forget a boutique item such as FV & just fill it with the handy stock on their trolley

ridiculous amount of cash
insurance scam
I doubt any insurance would cover that amount of cash unless it was properly secured.
UK insurances will even stipulate the type of safe required depending on the value being covered.
Polyrattan blinds
in Pattaya
Posted
Does anyone know a shop that stocks wide polyrattan (or just plain rattan for that matter) blinds around town?
I've checked all the major hardware & homeware stores but they all now just seem to cater for standard windows sizes as the widest blinds of any type where too narrow for my needs.
I've seen real rattan blinds are various older style resorts whilest on trips to other holiday spots around the country.
I've been trying to scout some of the local stores on the Suk but to no avail
