  1. With millions of available young women in Thailand, why do you waste any thought on her. It may even be a shit test and she returns later.

Whatever, go on and find the next chick. Shouldn't take more than a few days.

Thank you. Out of the millions there should be at least one that will qualify with my requirements. You see my problem? I have requirements in return for some bills or gold.

Sorry....but...if a man need to use some bills or gold to get its "requirements"...what is the difference of its woman with a bar girl or prostitute..?

I want to know why anyone thinks in today's world, we are not in a "pay as you go" soceity?

With all the Visa rules and tourists who come thru here, professing to love them forever,

Is it not reasonable for them to exepct you to "prove" your love, as she opens her legs?

I am not sure if anyone here has experienced a US divorce, I have had two, and for the price of the lawyers, I can tell you, 15,000 Baht a month, for a "live female" is toilet paper to us, and to them, so you get what you pay for; and your interest was paid; in full.

sorry for the reality check, but whining in public about mistakes you are making, with "living people" not property or cattle, warrant you seeking advice from a female psychiatrist, perhaps one with a shirt skirt and long boots?

on a more seriosu note prince charming, have you considered for a moment, that you are not exactly a "prize" at 15,000 Baht a month, and there is always going to be a bloke willing to pay more, if she is cute?

Has "proving" your love with money ever convinced one of your girls that you're in love with her?

I highly doubt it. Thailand has a strong culture of indebtedness, you help someone, they will feel indebted to you and will help you back, etc. Paying a Thai girl directly tells the girl you're doing something wrong to her and you need to compensate her with money. Usually she will assume it is because you are just using her for sex and have no intention of long-term commitments.

  2. So they some people in that building and then later get hit with lasers coming from some place else, and they put the two incidents together.

Barely intelligible post, but may I point out that laser sighting not only lets the shooter know when he is on target, it also lets the targets know where you are aiming from.

Great for police to intimidate criminals, but in a combat situation as handy as a big sign saying "I AM HERE".

They never said they saw the laser was being pointed from there. They say they saw people in a building and then described a different laser incident. You can't see the source of the laser unless you're looking directly at the source. Which according to the article, there weren't.

You can see the path of lasers in BKK due to the high pollution content in the air.

  3. Being charged over her complicity in the rice scheme corruption will be the least of her worries. With the precedent clearly set(by her own govt) to charge sitting PMs for premeditated murder in a personal capacity for any deaths caused by state officials during riots or civil unrest, she will have 9 premeditated murder charges to deal with first. She will not get out of prison until she is about 360 years old so will be in no fit state to stand trial for policy corruption at that age.

If she is charged, she should just follow coward Suthep's lead an start a protest group to avoid it like him. Suthep has managed to cause problems for the people of BKK with his 20 supporters, just imagine what YS could not with 15 million.

It's been discussed many times, the charges against Suthep were invented for the purpose of soliciting his (and Abhisit's) co-operation with the amnesty bill.

If he was wrong in ordering the use of force against the red shirts, then as the order was made in an official capacity, it is the NACC's role to press charges which is the pathway PTP sought in the first place but the NACC refused to press charges, so instead they invented a phoney murder charge so that the DSI could pursue the matter instead. Besides, if a murder charge were possible for deaths caused by orders made in an official capacity then Thaksin would face thousands of murder charges for the war on drugs.

  4. Ten bus loads of armed Cambodians are Yingluks real secret weapon.

They can move around un noticed (apart from the Navy Seals who saw them but didn't report it or do anything)

With their totally different language, they can blend in with the population as well... esp with their darker skins, slighter frames and general non exposure to skin whitener, they can blend in with with the Middle classes on Demos.

CAPO asking for pics and FB awash with selfies and crowd shots. Nobody spotted on yet though.

Ten lorries entered Thailand from Cambodia eh. Should be easy to track, follow the line of broken down lorries; they must all be clinging to one truck by now!

There are broken down lorries everywhere, how would you know which track to take?

  5. IMO the only problem I see with this article is the fact that the Gov't bought the rice at a price higher than the market is right now. So no matter how much they sell, there's no way to fund all the payouts.

Any which way they try to spin this they're screwed

Devaluing the THB would solve that problem. They would be able to sell the rice at market price, pay the farmers and still turn a profit. The BoT would never agree to that though.

  6. Surapong reasoned that the emergency decree was necessary given that protesters led by Suthep Thaugsuban had violated the law, raided government agencies and state banks, as well as threatened state officials. Violent incidents were intentional and meant to hurt and kill people, he claimed.

And the violent people are the protesters are they?

Of course, surely you saw the videos of how they yelled and screamed when people threw grenades at them.

  7. The rift I would say is about the same as it always was. Massive. Both sides have their own agenda here and their priorities are to theirselves.

There seems to be a self perpetuating myth among many that Thailand will change for the good if they can get rid of Thaksiin... it won't As there is not much diversity in the western media here (things changing now) many who don't have access to news, just swallow hook line and sinker a few titbits they pick up.

They then talk loudly in bars about them and come to believe firmly in them. I'll say thaksin was corrupt... but he was corrupt AND did good for the country and many of its people. The other side have only their own interests at heart and are fighting behind the scenes anyway.

What changed for me is I have children at school here and I don't want them to be living in the mire of corruption that existed back when I arrived. Was barely reported then but bodies turned up regularly and activists and journalists learned never to questin what was going on.

The change now is with the internet. This information i out there and professional journalists feel they should report both sides (the article by cod yesterday was fantastic.. .and also the part from the yellow shirt guy equally as good) and many can see that all was not well in Thailand before Thaksin.

Lot of the social media stuff is misleading for many reasons and you have to try to understand why. It's a PR war and if they make enough noise on either side about a topic (the navy seals and Ko-Tee mate in the frame for the bombings) they are spread around to drag leaders away from their topic of the day, making them respond to more and more rumours etc. Both sides do it.

At least we have some balance on here now and Leaders from all sides, INC Army, navy and eventually some backers when they are outed have their feet held to the flames more than they used to. This is bringing change and has worked on the Army as they are saying NO COUP so often now that they will probably start believing it themselves soon.

Why you give credit for all good things that happened during last 20 years to thaksin. The quality of life raised worldwide regardless of his involvement. Almost all people own a mobile phone now while almost none did before thaksin assumed power. Will you credit this to him as well? Or how about the number of people who can afford to own a fridge or TV or car or computer is this also his achievment? He might have held this country back by building his own cult of personality.

Because nobody else was in power during this time that did anything effective.

Most in the Country can only afford these things, health care, schooling, University etc. as a direct result of his policies.

Incredible that 2 of the items you use to bash him, they were directly responsible for. The one home one pc or one child one tablet and the car loan. This not only gave people access to cars, it boosted the economy and made manufactures want to invest more. Very smart was that

Contrast today where Toyota are threatenind to invest 40 BILLION elsewhere if this keep up. Not clever was that Suthep!

He got the airport open and many on here scoffed as he said 12 million visiters a year was possible... He took thailand places and got their corruption index down a bit at one stage. Thats down on the current coup mongers on the streets now.

You are not there to be convinced, so I'm not going to try. But i'll tell you that your post clearly shows how poorly read you are on the policies of his government. Perhaps you only read what you like.

Please, if you do one thing today, read up about the corruption that plagued the airport, the infighting with the military and the vested interest at Don Muang. Please.. try learn one thing a day. Thaksin was not even a schoolboy when that sorry saga started.

Learn that one thing, they I'll tell you another tomorrow... then another and another. You won't like them, but they are true

key line "In 2008, The Nation admitted that its reports of corruption were incorrect, and retracted their stories

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corruption_in_the_Suvarnabhumi_Airport_project

Thailand (and much of Asia)'s growth from 2001-2006 can almost entirely be attributed to increased US borrowing and spending over the period. Thailand's achievements during this period should not be credited to Thaksin, he just so happened to be in power at the right time.

Yingluck's economically stimulating policies were introduced during a time of a contracting monetary supply, while some stimulation is necessary in order to prevent a recession, the PTP clearly went overboard putting Thailand in a position where it now requires a continually increasing volume of economic stimulus in order to avoid collapse. If you're wondering why PTP would destroy the country's future for the sake of some growth in the present, just look who tripled his net wealth off the Thai sharemarket since PTP came to power.

  8. Have flown in to Thailand many many times without an onward ticket/return ticket/visa. The only time I have ever had trouble was with Qantas, Jetstar (same thing really) and BA (they also use Qantas check in staff at Sydney). Had to book a fully refundable ticket with another airline that I cancelled as soon as I touched down in BKK.

Singapore Air, Thai airways, Emirates, Air Asia, Tiger and some other airlines never said a word to me about it

Qantas staff are anal and have directly contributed to me, my daughter and most people I know, not using them.

My daughter criss-crosses Australia constantly for her work and study.

She likes to arrive on time and not be trapped in a airplane for hours while the ground staff refuse to work in the rain or some other trivial reason.

I am Australian and find it unfortunate Qantas they are on a irreversible spiral down the plughole.

RIP Qantas, you once were a outstanding airline.

Have travelled PER - BKK on many occasions on a one way ticket with Thai, Tiger, AirasiaX, Jetstar, never been queried and Thai immigration stamps me in for 30 days with a smile.

I fly with Qantas to Thailand without an ongoing flight/visa very frequently and I've never had problems. If they give you trouble it's probably for a good reason.

  9. 100 people there if he is lucky. so much for the 6 million.

looks like the protest is finally in its death throws

time for the SWAT team to throw in the tear gas and arrest this boneheaded dinasaur.

The source of your 100 figure please. Speaking of bones doggy you might want to wash the one you are chewing on. It might have something on it that impairs your ability to count. One picture of part of the parade shows more than 100 and don't forget the people cheering him on from the sidelines.

Seems to me that the closer the election gets the more desperate the pro Yingluck get with nonsense about Suthep.

Why not some thing positive about Yingluck. All they have is allegations against Suthep. Some even go so far as to lie about Yingluck and claim the majority wanted her when it was only 48% far from a majority.

    Answer nothing there to promote.

He could probably only count to 100.

  10. What I can't quite understand are the references to 'claims' and 'allegations' of corruption by Thaksin. He has already been found guilty...!!

Not to mention references to the allegations that PTP is his puppet, they campaigned that they were his puppet. What about making his criminal sentence sound like a domestic issue with his wife? AFP's articles make me think they are accepting bribes from Thaksin.

  11. When three SEALs were caught red handed at the protest site carrying silenced weapons it put the Navy squarely under suspicion. The 'drugs operation' cover story was obviously bogus.

What's the logic of one taxpayer funded agency suing another? It's just an attempt to intimidate the police. There's an arrest warrant out for a suspect. Let's have his name. The bomber dropped his hat at the scene. Have the SEAL guy give a DNA sample and that would clear him or otherwise.

Go back and read the news about the three "SEALS". They weren't caught at the protest site. They were picked up somewhere else well away from the protests and they happened to have guard IDs.

    .

They were carrying yellow shirt terrorist ID's. i think it's a safe bet that they were at the protest site. The police just had to wait until they moved away before arresting them.

Can you please explain just what a yellow shirt terrorist ID card is and how it differs from a normal Thai ID card?

After all you brought it up so tell us all what it is.

Of course if you cannot then I can understand. You would lose the last shreds of credulity you ever had, though there wasn't much to begin with.

The yellow shirts were a protest group from 2010, I'm guessing he's implying that protesting is a terrorist act, that the Navy SEALs were involved in the protest in 2010 and that they carry their membership cards as souvenirs???

  12. BANGKOK: -- Violent upheaval in Thailand is set to grow, getting a lot worse before (and if) things get any better.

It is exactly this kind of press claim that will help deteriorate things further. imo is irresponsible to be so pessimistic of a national newspaper, it helps not one bit even if it is true. It should have simply said

BANGKOK: -- Violent upheaval in Thailand could be set to grow.

As opposed to the everything is ok, keep investing in Thailand attitude of the foreign papers?

  13. The EC is blocking everything from bank payments to farmers, rice sales to China, loans to pay farmers, etc.

The EC clearly has a hidden agenda but most farmers are not stupid and will show it in the next election.

OR maybe they are doing their job to the letter of the law as the government keeps threatening them and they don't want to make a wrong step and give any lawful reason for complaint...

Indeed, it's amazing how anything that steps in the way of the Thaksin regime has a "hidden agenda".
