  1. Someone else also told me "weho" could stand for "West Hollywood"... so I think you're on to something...

Well I want go there....maybe you could tell us if you hung out there?

Talking about "those" kinds of clubs... are you refering to "dropping a husky"? That seems so 80's to me.

Well I cant elaberate because I might violate some rule butt I am sure it dates back into the 80's.

    Did you ever see this?

  2. Press the escape key and your avatar comes to a grinding halt.

Thanks for that as I was having to put one foot on the floor to read this thread.

Your puppet avatar with the A bomb in the back ground - I thought captured your personality. Now this spinning Rod Serling makes my head want to buss open. I think you are on your way to starting some mass mind control project?

I did a google on "WEHO" and lots of stuff came up. Alot of "West Hollywood" stuff.

You ever go to one of those clubs in SF where they dropped a big one on a pane of glass?

  3. Go to a large shopping center like in Pattaya or BKK and find a BOOK STORE. Bookzine is one and there are several others. Used book stores can be found. If you cant find any ask this thread or any long term falang where to find (and tell what neighborhood you live in). If you travel by air then buy from the expensive airport book shops. There are a ton of Thai history books.

  4. I think there are Thai laws against Missionarys going door to door or even handing out bibles to THAIS.

The missionarys however can hand out bibles to tourist from other countrys and they do...to Chinese tourist etc. The mormons have a method of teaching English and then working the religon into the soul.

If YOU want to spread GODS word just bring lots of money to the table. The Thais will flock in there like locus. I always like to have a phone number of the Christians so I can give it to some people in need.

There have been studys of how closely Budisum and Christianity actually are. There is a school of thought that Christianity evolved from Budisum.

Some Thais like to wear the cross around the neck like a necklace fashion.

A young Thai had seen for the first time the scene where Jesus gets nailed to the cross. Boy I felt like a missionary explaining that one.

I really do think that if you are too agressive (spreading the good word) the Thais will have you for lunch.

  5. Oh look WEHO you and Hasselhoff have something in common!!!!!!!!!!!

    Hasselhoff wins libel damages

LONDON (Reuters) - David Hasselhoff accepted "substantial" libel damages from celebrity magazine OK! on Friday over reports he was drunk and abusive at a Los Angeles nightclub after winning a custody battle for his daughters.

The award of damages at London's High Court was against OK! publisher Northern & Shell Plc and Northern & Shell North America Ltd, which publishes OK! Weekly magazine.

The court heard that in July, OK! ran an item which alleged he had been "off his face" and "abusive" at the night club.

On the previous day OK! Weekly published a story headed "Hasselhoff Celebrates Custody Win" which alleged he "drank champagne like it was water" from midnight until 2.00 a.m.

"The truth is that the allegations are entirely false," said Hasselhoff's lawyer Simon Smith.

Both publications have agreed to print an apology, pay "substantial damages" and reimburse the 55-year-old former Baywatch star's legal costs.

In a statement issued outside the court afterwards, Hasselhoff said: "While this should not have happened in the first place I am very pleased with the outcome of this case.

"In the past whenever false reports about me have surfaced I have done my best to ignore them. However, due to the completely false allegations published by OK! magazine and others I was encouraged this time by my children to take a stand."

Hasselhoff is now a judge on the television contest show "America's Got Talent." He divorced his wife, Pamela Bach, 43, in August 2006. They have battled for custody of daughters Taylor Ann, 17, and Hayley, 14.

  6. THere seems to be only 2 kinds of people on this thread Weho and those who want to probe him.........why the obsession?.........................up to you I guess

    gotta agree ,

help us out will you ?

what is the threads title ??

The title is a little confusing. Weho had started some threads but the thread should just stay on that subject. By starting a thread that has you ask WEHO a question, multible questions can be asked.

  7. I thank the forum moderator for letting this thread continue. I know some here have been pushing the limits here trying to get WEHO to self destruct. In the past I have been known to be most unkind in this area. By starting this thread I hope to reach some kind of atonement.

I am taking a liberty here by asking Weho to answer questions that everybody would like to ask

ASK WEHO A QUESTION AND BE CIVIL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :o

  8. Weho,

What is your favorite entertainment venue?

    Good question.

I guess I would have to say my water-proofed computer chair.

Oh my now that was an unexpected answer.

Does this chair have a hole in the seat?

Come on posters help me out with questions to Weho!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  9. I am taking a liberty here by asking Weho to answer questions that everybody would like to ask.

SO HERE GOES: ASK WEHO A QUESTION AND BE CIVIL ! :o

  10. Lancesnot,

You did state in your original post.....

"In fairness maybe the Thai had politely asked the Farang to adjust her seat upwards but I only took notice when the Thai lady started shouting"

so why are you spouting off to me like this?...

"Hold on Big Cowboy, who said she asked nicely? (Thai girl)

I was there, you were not."

    Also...

"Hope you get an abusive, aggressive girlfriend buddy (whatever her nationality)"

Well I dont wish anything bad on anybody.

I do think that your original observation and thread was good and informative. I was only trying to show an alternative view.

I have seen Thai on Thai heated exchanges because of those reclining seats first hand.

Thats all I have to say,

  11. All,

I rode on the Pattaya/BKK bus both ways today. I was very observent of the distance between seats.

These busses are old and some have had used seats from other busses install haphazardly. I am talking 4 inches for leg clearance. Then the seats in other locations reap the benifit with extra space. You can actually see old mounting foot prints on the floor to sort this out.

    Original post....

"I heard a "Thai girl shout I can't sit here!" A farang girl immediately in front of her had reclined her seat and encroached on the"

I can see this Thai gal sitting in this bad seat on a hot day and maybe she was having a bad hair day also. She asked nicely and did not get a reaction. WHAT WOULD YOU DO AT THIS POINT?

From info given and what I have seen on the bus I award this CASE to the Thai gal for applying just the amount of fiber to get the job done without creating a riot. The Thai gal also has taught the falang gal to make an adjustment the first time she is asked or else face the wrath of the Thai.

  12. Well you might do the Budist merit making and just give him B5 and try to walk away. When he ask for more tell him he will have to get it from somebody else. If he persists then show both palms up and say I dont have it. If he points at a your pocket then "turn the table" and ask to see his pockets. If he is a scam artist he will not be broke and will not show you his pockets. I have had them turn at this point and leave quickly. If he truly is broke then advise him to go to the Christian Church people as I am sure they want to get their hands on him and save him. There are "do good people" out there and I collect there phone numbers and address just so I can direct these hardship cases.

  13. "How do you deal with it everyday? "

Well you have to work at keeping cool. Limit yourself during the heat of the day. During the day wear light colored clothing that breaths, white is best, 2nd yellow, 3rd orange, 4th red, 5th blue and of course black is the worst. Wear shorts, sandals,no socks, no underware, wear a hat and be prepared to take off hat in the shade. Cut your hair very short. Walk on the shady side of the street. Drink lots of cold fluids, not alcohol. If your sweating alot then drink hydromix. Use an umbrella.

Plan a trip to the mall(anywhere aircon) during the heat of the day.

Take a handkerchef to wipe off excess sweat.

    :o

    Well you asked.

  14. For those guys who have thoughts of using poisons you might not have considered what trouble you could get into. Lets suppose that you poison a dog and then it is some how eaten by the local hungry people. You may have the Thai wrath come down on you or a guilt feeling to last a life time.

  15. All,

    Revised version.....

Having been attacked a million times by dogs while I was walking or riding a motobike, I feel I am qualified to speak on this. Sometimes the Thais will just stand back while the dogs attack like it is some sporting event. Very few times have the Thais called off the dogs. The dogs are protecting their terf and some have had rocks thrown at them while others have not. There are some that will bark while others will bite if they can.

    *********************************************

If ridding a bike you can install a holder for a club. If you have a slender pole like club then fasten a second PCV pipe (ductape verticle with bottom pluged) on your bike. Make sure you can slide the club easyly from the holder. This will allow you to travel without holding the club but have easy access to it. Patent Pending :o

    *********************************************

If you are walking and attacked then bend down and find or act like you are picking up a rock. Even if you are on solid pavement act like you are picking up a rock. This might hold them off if they have had rocks thrown at them. If not they will keep comming and do their job. I have hit dogs with rocks and had mixed results. Some dogs are puzzled when hit and sometimes keep comming. Only when you hurt them will they connect the throwing with the actual hit on the doggy body. A dog that has been hurt will know and anytime a motion of throwing is made he will retreat if even for a moment. If he comes back then keep pumping that arm in a fake throwing mode. I have been known to carry rocks in my pockets.

The Thais that have this problem carry a club. This is what I recommend if you know you are venturing into DOG TERRITORY. A collapsible aluminum stick would be a good investment. Just unfold this contaption quickly and show the dog right away what you got. He probally thought you did not have a club and suddenly you got this shinny club. <deleted>. The dogs have been trained with sticks. They may bark but they have respect for THE STICK.

Any type gun(BB, pelet) I would not recommend as the Thais may look down on this. Spray would work but the dogs arent going to know untill they get real close. They have not been trained.

Bitten recently real good but wasnt too concerned about rabies because the dog was defending his turf. Just kept it clean etc. With rabbies out there the behavior of the animal should be looked at real close. If in doubt seek treatment for rabbies.

My favorite cure for a dog in the neighborhood that wants your ass and just will not stop time after time is: Feed him some good leftover food off your table. It is probally the best he ever had. It may take a few times for him to get to make the connection between you and the food. I have used this with great success. The dog is actually waiting for you to feed him. Makes you feel good also.

For an attack without any protection try not to show fear. Raise your arms like you are going to hit the dog. A yell of some sort might be in order. GOOD LUCK. :D

  17. Dude,

The 407 bus company is the only service of this kind. It now has one or two new VIP busses.

In Pattay it departs at the service station office just North of Central(Klang) on Sukumvit Hy(Beach Side).

The times were about 8:30A, several from 5:30P to 9P.

    Cost is about 500B (forgot).

The old bus can be miserable with the smell from the toilet, extra seats added (15 plastic chairs), and the heat of the day. Pick your pleasure of dangerous night travel, or hot day time.

If you take another bus(at a different station in Pattaya) and go through the BKK Mochit add about 3 hours on your schedule.

GO DOWN TO THE OFFICE AND BUY YOUR TICKET A DAY AHEAD OF TIME. GET A SEAT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BUS. PUT YOUR STUFF UNDER YOUR SEAT. ENJOY THE RIDE ON NEW VIP BUS.

  18. There are 2 meter taxi stands on the ground floor. 1 at each end, below where domestic and international arrivals would exit on the floor above.

Thanks so much. That makes two folks saying the ground floor for the taxi stand.

Now if we could just get that put on the airport info guide to help anybody else.

Thank God we did not have to get Weho involved!

    LLL

  19. OK let me explain further, The cabs at the taxi stand are somewhat regulated as a registered cab. I would think that is some kind of security. I will pay that extra B50 for that. My friend is comming for first time and I want him to have a cab at the taxi stand outside on the curb.

I have had a report that the stand is on the bottom floor. DOES ANYBODY KNOW IF THE STAND IS ON THE BOTTOM FLOOR. I have spent too much time looking on layouts of airport etc for this taxi stand.

I do not think the stand is logically on the Arrival Floor Level.

Could we not discuss any further about how to get a bargan on a taxi. WHERE IS THE TAXI STAND?

Do I have to get Weho involved in this!

    LLL

  20. International arrival and want meter cab. When you exit customs there are a bunch of high priced folks trying to sell you a limo ride etc. I always say want meter cab and they all turn as cold as ice. But as I wander around and try to find the METER TAXI STAND I always go several levels before I find it.

IS THE TAXI STAND ON SAME LEVEL AS ARRIVALS? IS THAT THE SECOND LEVEL?

    thx

    LLL :o
