You mean when she introduces me as her "Keenok Farang" boyfriend it's not Thai for "Love of her Life Foreigner"?
Why not just introduce her as,"This is my first wife" Keeps em on their toes!

So 2 days to go and still links to berihino and wanyami asks for a transfer at southampton...
rijit
Tottenham's behaviour is,quite frankly, appalling. They never make market rate bids, and instead the players they are interested in always mysteriously seem to go on strike and put in transfer requests. Transfer requests in theory lose players a lot of money, loyalty bonus etc, and going on strike risks being fined. So lets be clear, considering Shneiderlin, Wanyama and Berahino have gone on strike after interest from Spurs in the last year, but it's not been happening with other players like Mane and Stones, it's pretty clear what's been going on in terms of financial incentives being offered for players.
If Spurs wanted Wanyama they should have made a market rate offer six weeks ago. The way Levy operates is an absolute disgrace.

No its rude and ignorant and racist.
Blimey! Kind of ironic though that this particular forum has written at the top,' FARANG Pub -fun, entertainment and Expat life.
You must get worked up into a lather every time you sign in!
Why isn't a man with your principles boycotting it?!

This refugee crisis is rapidly getting out of hand, and unless some of the leaders of Western governments take their collective heads out of the sand and address the elephant in the room this can only get worse. They, and more importantly the citizens who elect them, should be forced to acknowledge the laws of 'cause and effect'. A good start would be quite simple. The countries who started the Iraq war, destroying the country which facilitated it's take over by ISIS and their ilk, none of whom had a presence there pre invasion, should be made to take refugees from Iraq, those who assisted in the overthrow of Col Ghaddafi, resulting in the same scenario, despite all warnings that this current crisis would be the result of their actions, should be made to take those coming through Libya. Those countries who supported, trained and armed "rebels" in Syria who have transformed into ISIS and other assorted extremists should take those from Syria.Etc etc. After all, fairs fair! Our leaders can't say it is all unforeseen circumstances can they, because anyone who had any knowledge about Middle East and North African affairs warned them this would be the inevitable result of their actions. Cause and effect, "you break it, you own it'. Like it or not, the two hardest places for Islamic extremists to flourish were Iraq under Saddam Hussain and Libya under Ghaddafi. Yet in just a few short years the extremists have been handed these two countries on a silver platter, courtesy of the actions of the West. Syria next. Is nobody else worried that NATO countries have never done so much in favour of Islamic extremism, and in such a short period of time?

"Vote for Donald Trump - he's no worse than Hillary Clinton!"
That is probably the best example i have ever seen of 'being damned with faint praise'! But i suppose it has got a bit of a ring about it. Would look great on the front of a T Shirt, some budding entrepreneur in the US should get a few thousand printed up, there is a killing to be made!

They make up a bunch of BS about this Kim Jong Un guy saying he killed his uncle, fed his nephew to tigers etc. I don't believe any of it, its BS fabricated by the western and south korean media.
This particular story about the dogs was complete BS, started by a 'satirist' in Hong Kong. Of course he knows his audience, lots of people out there who are desperate to believe this stuff and who are willing to make fools of themselves on public forums by displaying their gullibility!

Unfortunately I watched it on youtube before they removed it. Terrible and tragic loss of lifes that never should have happened.
"Unfortunately i watched it on youtube before they removed it". Come on! Did you watch it by accident? Just came across it! So you didn't search for it then! HaHa. This was essentially a 'snuff movie', posted by a lunatic, secure in the knowledge that there are plenty of sickos out there who want to be entertained by this sort of thing. Sadly you are living proof of this. Please, spare us the "unfortunately" BS.

Why didn't you just start the OP telling everyone how wonderful ,educated, rich, etc,.your wife is ,instead of leading a merry dance before you got there!
HaHa. Oh yes, aren't anonymous internet forums grand!

It's easy to do something about the laws, the democrats wants a change and maybe now is the time to do it. According to CNN there are several loop holes in the law so even mentally ill persons can buy a gun. Obviously this guy was mentallly ill and what about his employer who knew about his sick behaviour 2 years ago ? They had to call the police when he was fired from the TV station.
As for some on here who immediately try to make this a race issue, that says a lot about them. The colour of his skin and his sexuality were surely irrelevant in the grand scheme of things, he was just another madman living out his fantasy. To be honest i think there are more than a few on here, (who of course will never admit it), who are frustrated and desperately disappointed that he wasn't a Muslim.
Speechless about your comments, but you have shown time and time again that you have a chip on your shoulder as to anything US.
RE: Race
Here is part of his comments faxed to a TV station:
As for Dylann Roof? You (deleted)! You want a race war (deleted)? BRING IT THEN YOU WHITE (deleted)!!!
What on earth are you ranting on about? What has this story got to do with Dylan Roof? "Time and time again that you have a chip on your shoulder as to anything US"? Care to elaborate? Are you seriously suggesting that this latest shooting is a race issue? The only one who appears top have a chip on his shoulder is you!

Probably a bit harsh to suggest that his employer should bear some responsibility even if they did have to call the police on the previous occasion. They could hardly have predicted that he would reappear two years later and do what he did yesterday. He was clearly mentally ill, if he wasn't it doesn't say much for the rest of us! He obviously planned the whole thing in his warped mind, he made what was essentially a 'snuff movie', and then posted it straight onto the internet, where sadly there are plenty of people who are all too willing to indulge him and watch it. Now that he has been seen to be successful just wait for the copycats, because that will surely happen.

The Facebook and Twitter pages have been removed, but the video that he took himself before killing the couple is on Liveleak.
Is this the video that you described as "Horrible" in your earlier post? If it is "Horrible" why are you so desperate for people to see it that you point people towards it? Twice! Truly bizarre! And not a little sick.

I can bend over and, with my knees straight and locked, put my palms flat on the floor.
Really, the mind boggles! So once you are in this position what do you do, make a wish?

There was also the magic of perusing the record cover, sometimes a work of art in itself, quite often with liner notes, something I've never bothered to do with a CD.
Yes, I remember well.... a trip down memory lane... For me it was back in the 70's. Going to the record shop and spending hours looking over all the records was a pastime, before Internet replaced it. Those were the days when you bought records at full price that were many years old.... and you were proud of your record collection.
Ah yes, great memories. As giddyup rightly says, some of the album covers from the 60s and 70s were works of art, the artwork of Roger Dean and Hipgnosis especially. CDs just can't compare. Plus, lets face it, you can't build a decent spliff on a CD cover!

Sometimes you do have to shake your head in wonder. A gun range in Florida has been granted a license to sell alcohol, so now patrons can have a few scoops whilst they are shooting. What could possibly go wrong!?.

Simple solution to this problem....Nuke NK ! They are utter looneys and if they kick off they will cause WW3.
A simple solution from a simple poster.......................
The death of 10s of millions of women children who have no input into that government or any argument with South-K.
The Lunatic wasn't voted in by them........................but lets nuke them anyway.
A simple solution------would just love to view what you consider to be complex ....
Poor old lee b isn't the sharpest knife in the box is he! What does he imagine the effect would be on the people of South Korea if a 'nuke' was dropped on the North? Does he imagine that, even though, the Western allies in the south are just across the border they would somehow be immune from the effects of said 'nuke'? Oh deary deary me!

yep, Indonesians, quality tourists......
But your opinion is clouded by the fact that you are clearly a racist. You post a cartoon which depicts an entire nation as Apes. Are the moderators asleep?

in simple words they want to say - Thais have not the intelligence to produce such a bomb ,
this time i beleave the RTP !! :-)))
But they could draw it of couse;
Miamy Vice would investigate if this metall cylinder were of metall imported in Dubai !!
Any excuse for a bit of Thai bashing eh? Even in a thread about a bombing that killed innocent Thais.
I bet they have the intelligence to be able to spell simple words like 'believe', 'course', 'Miami', and 'metal' though!

With this kind of thing we now can conclude who is doing it with his own network and huge finances
Is it Basil Fawlty?............................ why dont you just "come out" and say it instead of "beating round the bush"
Actually it is quite clear
No it's not. Only to you it seems. Presumably you have offered your evidence to the appropriate authorities? Just because you desperately want it to be your 'bogeyman' who is responsible it doesn't mean that it is, only in your fevered and warped imagination. You have no respect, people have lost loved ones and are grieving, all you can do is come out with your silly, uninformed theories. You should have a long hard look in the mirror, you are a disgrace.

He said Washington owes Cuba indemnifications "that rise to numerous millions of dollars" for damage caused by the embargo.
Which the US should pay.
As soon as Cuba pays back the $6 billion or so in real estate and businesses owned by Americans that Castro confiscated and or nationalized back in the late 50's.
Fidel has a big pair.
That confiscation was legitimate. In the USA the government regularly confiscates the proceeds of crime, and Cuba was one big corrupt puppet of US organized crime aka the Mob, aka the Mafia. Much of the property seized by the Cuban government was taken from entities which had exploited Cubans and acquired the property in a questionable manner. I see no reason why the Cuban government should compensate pimps, racketeers, mobsters, loan sharks, drug and booze smugglers etc. Oh sure, you will raise the issue that what about the factories. Ok. Cuba should give back these factories, once the former owners have paid for the industrial pollution they made. Americans don't want to accept the fact that the Americans who "owned" Cuban assets were for the most part crooks. Americans didn't object when the mobsters were running Cuba did they?
The embargo was unnecessary and has been petty vindictiveness for the last 20 years. In any case, the Europeans and Canada were delighted by the business opportunities created by the idiotic US foreign policy.
You are not only completely lost, but your sources of information could not be more incorrect. Most of the assets seized, were from affluent, hard working, honest families. Their houses, their art collections, their bank accounts, and whatever else Fidel or Che wanted, was theirs for the keeping. They both became very wealthy men. Both were ideologies, who changed overnight, when they got the power. Fidel was way worse than Che. But Che was a murderous killer of men too. Sure, they seized a few casinos. Who cares about that. The mob lost some money. No sleep lost over that. But, they also took the assets of countless families, all in the name of the new republic. What a complete joke that new republic was. Lets lock up anyone who does not like us without a trial. Lets stop elections. Lets destroy the agriculture with Stalinist agrarian policies, which were as unscientific as they come. The vegetables and fruits in Cuba taste like cardboard, due to the soil being completely stripped of any value, and not being replenished through progressive policy. Lets deny the people a livelihood. Lets deny the right to worship as they please. Lets destroy the rich music industry. All great ideas, of this mastermind.
Cuba is hopelessly decrepit. The infrastructure will take a generation to rebuild. There is a giant sucking sound coming from King Castro. He could be a representative of Hoover Vacuum. He is a hooligan at best.
You are the one who is lost. You refuse to accept the facts. Before 1959 the life expectancy for Cubans was just 58 years Now it is 78 years. At the end of 2008 infant mortality in Cuba was 47 deaths per 1,000 live births, the lowest in the Western hemisphere. Infant mortality in the US is 7 deaths per 1,000 births. This despite the sanctions imposed by America. According to the World Health Organization Cuba has 5.91 physicians per 1,000 people, TWICE as many per capita as the USA..Cuba has more doctors per capita than any other country in the world. In 1959, when the American mafia controlled Cuba there were only 6,300 doctors, most of whom left for the USA. Today Cuba has 70,000 doctors. It's all about priorities. Before 1959 Cuba had an illiteracy rate of 23%, After 1959 a mass literacy campaign eliminated illiteracy in one year. Cuba now has more teachers per capita than any other country in the world. Before 1959 when the US mafia ran Cuba homosexuality was illegal, in 1979 Castro's Cuba decriminalised homosexual acts in private between consenting adults. Fidel Castro's interview in 1992 makes for interesting reading, 25 years ago. It would be interesting to see Jingthing's take on that! This has all been achieved despite the spiteful sanctions by the USA over the past 50 years which quite frankly is nothing short of shameful. OK, maybe the average Cuban on the street does not have the 'freedom' to buy a new BMW every year, but when it comes to the basic 'freedoms', the right to an education, the right not to die due to basic health care etc etc, that surely is a small price to pay.
http://directaction.org.au/issue8/cuban_revolution_50_years_of_accomplishments
That should of course read 4.7 deaths per 1,000 live births.

I am always baffled when the USA, a republic, wants other countries to become democracies!
If the US ( my country ) really believes in freedom, why don't they respect the freedom of others to chose their own form of government?
Good luck with that one! Lets face it, it would be a first!

We make a lot of jokes about the guy, some deservedly so, but Mr Carter is a man of his word and faith. I've always admired him for that.
Very well put. No matter what side of the political spectrum we inhabit, and i suspect you and i wouldn't have too much in common in that regard, Jimmy Carter is self evidently a thoroughly decent human being. We should all be able to agree on that.

Trying to defeat ISIS by bombing them is like trying to juggle smoke! But they know that, this is just an exercise in giving the impression to the great unwashed that something is being done. Sadly there are far too many who believe it. ABCer is absolutely correct in his observations regarding Turkey and the Kurds, dirty politics indeed. Yet the true enemies of ISIS and their forerunners Al Qaeda, who actively took them on and gave them no quarter to gain a foothold in their countries were Libya under Ghaddafi and Iraq under Hussain. So they had to go! Likewise now Iran and Assad in Syria are doing the same. If our Western leaders had got their way and toppled Assad a couple of years ago Syria would now be under the control of ISIS, with all the misery that would have caused. Just like Libya today, persecution and slaughter of Christians and other groups who are not considered 'devout' enough. Like it or not this is what our leaders are quite happy to be visited upon the populations of these countries. Given that the governments of the West are doing everything they can to undermine the governments of the two countries who are actively resisting ISIS on the ground, the only conclusion that can be drawn, given the old truism,'The enemy of my enemy is my friend', is that our enemy is clearly not ISIS. No matter how hard that may be for some to swallow.

Exactly right. But he never does, his business ethics are shameful. Before he puts his bid in he knows that the player in question has already been tapped up, is now unsettled, but will be financially compensated if he asks for a transfer. I see West Ham gave him the bums rush yesterday when he tried it on with them. Hopefully the penny has dropped and a few clubs are wise to Levy's tactics. I would be very surprised if Berahino's tweet was his idea, more likely his agent in a last ditch attempt to get WBA to cut their losses. WBA should stand firm, like Southampton did regarding the Wanyama and Schneiderlin sagas.
