  1. He is an obnoxious knob, with a vastly overrated sense of entitlement.

A bit like large numbers of farangs living in Thailand you mean ? rolleyes.gif

Sorry, you have completely lost me there. I thought this was a story on World News Forum about Jeremy Clarkson. In England. Are you trying to be witty? Or 'Edgy'? If so it is a bit of a fail. But i'm sure you will soon be getting the obligatory 'likes' from the rest of your little gang.rolleyes.gif

    my case rests your honour...rolleyes.gif

Aw, don't be so hard on yourself.

  2. Reinstate Clarkson petition hits half a million.

According to reports i have read Clarkson turned up 2 hours late after going on the p--s in a local pub, and after being told by the assistant producer, ( who is probably being paid peanuts), that he couldn't have a steak cooked and all that was now available was a cold platter, launched into one of his, "Do you know who i am?" tirades and assaulted said AP. Which would have warranted instant dismissal for 99.9 % of 'normal' people. He is an obnoxious knob, with a vastly overrated sense of entitlement.

    Any links to these 'reports'?

A brief search leads to a forum where a 'witness" says they all turned up late and pissed. The chefs had gone, they were offered a cold platter, 2 said ok 1 said no. Clarkson tried to sack him. There was no fight

The Telegraph quotes witnesses as saying that a table had been booked for their meal at 8 pm, they turned up worse for wear at 10pm, chef had gone home, young AP had to break the news that he couldn't have a steak cooked. but there was a cold platter available which included, soup, cold meats, cheese etc. Clarkson said, "so no food then". Others were thinking," well surely that's food"! He then launched into his tirade, which included totally humiliating the young AP, calling him by the F word, C word etc etc. Conflicting reports regarding whether a punch was thrown, but certainly a scuffle with people holding Clarkson back. In the end a 'minion' was dispatched to the kitchen to cook the poor entitled dear his steak. As i said before, he is an obnoxious knob, and clearly a bully to boot.

  4. Anything deemed to be inappropriate, whether legal or just overlooked in the law, should be avoided in politics. Politicians need to be seen to be ethical and abiding by all laws or they will not be trusted.

In the English language the word nepotism has a very negative connotation. The only word I could find in the Thai language is "คติเห็นแก่ญาติ" which means something like "a way or a principle or model of thinking about relatives", which I'm willing to bet does not necessarily carry as much negative connotation to it as in the west, though I do not know this as a fact, but according to these news reports it sure sounds like "nepotism" is a very negative concept in Thailand as well.

These politicians just don't get it. They are too thick-headed and they feel entitled.

The Thais wouldn't have the same derogatory attitude towards nepotism as in the West as their culture is 'family' oriented. This is why so many ordinary Thais would rather have their family work for them and 'adopt' inter family. They simply don't trust anyone outside their bloodline.

Trying to pretend that somehow these practices are a 'Thai thing' and that in the West it is different is simply not true. I can't speak for other countries but certainly in the UK it is common for Members of Parliament to employ their wives as assistants, diary secretaries etc, and their children as "researchers', all on salaries way above the national average, all at taxpayers expense. Whilst constantly preaching to the rest of us that we must "tighten our belts", "we are all in this together" etc etc. Hypocrites all.

  5. Yawn...Probably more secure than the government email anyway.

This is the least of the fat, mad liberal cow's sins. Just a blatant flaunt in the face or authority because nobody in Washington gives a flying <deleted> what liberls do or dont do. her sins go back to when her old man was president and most recently to Benghazi. Go back to when her intern boffing old man Slick Willie was POTUS and I, long with millions, believe they were both complicit in the murder of White House legal Council, Vincent Foster, who was about to reveal all the Clinton's dirty laundry. This cow's inaction in the Benghazi murders is not her first trip down murderers' row.then is tanamount to sanctioning murder of 4 US personnnel in the Benghazi embassy. Her and our muslim brotherhood IS sympathetic president stood by and ignored pleas from our troops there who were being over run and subsequently killed. She and osama should be charged as accomplices to murder and be thrown in Leavenworth for the rest of their miserable worthless lives.

Well, i know it's late and hopefully when you read your rant again in the morning after you have sobered up you will be suitably embarrassed! She should be charged together with "Osama"? Oh deary deary me, take more water with it is my advice! Your misogynistic rantings about Mrs Clinton will, i am sure, not stay long on here, but i have to say that the funniest thing about your rant is when you describe her as a "Liberal"! Hilarious. If you really do believe that you must be somewhere to the right of Attilla The Hun!

  6. RIP. Putin would be behind this just like he was behind the attacks on the Ukraine & the downing of the Malaysian flight.

Putin is a coward and this sort of evill murder is right up his alley. Scumbag.

With all due respect, it could be allies of Putin acting on their own. But basically being "protected" by Putin. Kinda like the shenanigans here the past few years. Depending on your political affiliation, certain things were overlooked. But not necessarily orchestrated by the people in power?????

Possible, but there'd also be a nod and a wink from Putin at some pint. He's a grub & hopefully someone sits him on his backside sooner than later.

    Does Putin drink pints? Wow!

  7. I notice on the great unwashed site there is a report of another Burmese death on Koh Samui yesterday.

The police officer in charge had again said the killer is Burmese because they are a brutal race.

So no matter if the murderer is Thai, farang or alien, they are looking only at Burmese.

Just how <deleted> up is this police force ?

The great unwashed site? This is all very interesting but what on earth is this to do with 'koh Tao suspects to be indicted by the end of the month'? Is this on topic? Have the rules been changed on TVF? I think we should be told!

  8. Thongkorn post # 8

some people got 30 years for robbing a train.

Please do not forget that Driver Jack Mills died as a result of the injuries he received in the matter.

Murder is the word.Murder should have been the charge.

Driver Jack Mills is a Railway hero sadly unsung by those who admired his killers..

Glitter got that which he deserved.

His life in prison will in my view be of limited time, and not through sentence remission but mother nature and possibly other inmates although the perverts are segregated away from the other criminal elements, ''accidents do happen.''

Murder? Don't be silly. Jack Mills died SEVEN years after the robbery. He had leukaemia.

  9. So basically Qatar won the bid under false pretenses. They, along with the other bidders, bid to stage the World Cup in the summer. Now it is going to be changed to the winter, surely the other countries who were bidding should have the right to stage a winter bid. But of course this will never happen, if it did Blatter and the rest of the sorry crew at FIFA would have to return their bungs.

  10. ""When they start depending on smoking marijuana, I don't know how far they'd go to get the funds they need to support it, to support themselves," said Edward Nick, council member in Manokotak, a remote village of 400 that is predominantly Yup'ik Eskimo."

Just shows the old timer's distorted view on the herb. Nobody gets dependent on it, and that's probably one of the major reasons it's getting decriminalised all around the world.

It's been 40 years since I smoked any reefer but I would still like to say...................Hooray!!

Booze is 100 times a bigger problem to society in my opinion.

An interesting article in today's Independent newspaper would appear to agree with you.

  11. The referee was a disgrace. It was clear hand ball from Lovren, just after he had been booked, Friend just didn't have the balls to do the right thing and send him off. As for the incident with the goalkeeper, he was clearly out of his area when he handled the ball, the ref must have seen it, but bottled it. Southampton were denied at least two clear penalties. Liverpool should have come out for the second half with nine men. This illustrates perfectly why the likes of Southampton will never be able to compete with the so called 'big clubs', when push comes to shove they clearly get the thin edge of the wedge. Kevin Friend should be confronted with the evidence of his incompetence and asked to justify his decisions.Which he clearly could not, and then sacked. Maybe this is what's needed to concentrate the minds of the current crop of premiership referees who clearly are not up to the job.

I read the first 5 words ,read on a little bit more then it become easy to relay that you talk <deleted>.

Lac k of content duly noted.

  13. An interesting use of words from Rodgers at his press conference, talking about Jordan Henderson.

"He is a young player and you have to go steady with Jordan. Everyone is trying to catapult him into the next Steven Gerrard and he is not that.

i have said it many times he is not that type of player.Jordan is a real honest boy, a hard working player, a great team player. Steven is a totally different player to that".

  14. Strange putin feels he has the ability to negotiate on behalf of an army in the past he has said he has no control over. But the deal, good news if it happens. But the cynic in me says international pressure

Made it that they were never gonna walk from these talks with

anything less than an 'agreement' after all what would it make putin look like!!!

Sent from my GT-I9000 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app

Really? And France or Germany can on behalf of whom?

Uhm, France and Germany are acting as mediators . . . I think the point is we have leader from Ukraine and leader from Russia, but not rebel leader/representative except for Putin. That is unless you think France and Germany are representing the pro-Russian rebels.

Poroshenko refused to speak with anyone from the rebel side which probably explains Putin's role.
