Many of us would disagree. Weetabix is not good for the digestion, meat is. You have a disease of the digestive tract, sounds like a digestion problem to me. You can completely change the wildlife living in your digestive tract by changing your diet.

    What's wrong with Weetabix?

I have a stomach bacteria, not any disease. Nothing wrong with my digestion.

Israel Hasn’t Offered Evidence Tying U.N. Workers to Terrorism, Review Says

Israel has not provided evidence to support its allegations that many employees of the main U.N. agency for Palestinian refugees are members of terrorist organizations, according to an independent review commissioned by the United Nations that was released on Monday.

The review was announced in January, before Israel circulated claims that significant numbers of employees of the agency, known as UNRWA, were members of terrorist groups.

But by the time investigators started working on the review in early February, it had taken on additional significance: Israel had accused about a dozen employees of the agency, which employs about 13,000 Palestinians in Gaza, of involvement in the Oct. 7 Hamas-led attacks on Israel or their aftermath.

US intelligence casts doubt on Israeli claims of UNRWA-Hamas links, report says

A US intelligence assessment of Israel’s claims that UN aid agency staff members participated in the Hamas attack on 7 October said some of the accusations were credible, though could not be independently verified, while also casting doubt on claims of wider links to militant groups.

The assault precipitated a full-scale invasion by Israel of Gaza that has killed upwards of 30,000 Palestinians. Earlier this year, Israel accused 12 employees of the United Nations Reliefs and Works Agency (UNRWA) of participating in the 7 October attacks alongside Hamas. It also said 10% of all UNRWA workers were affiliated with Hamas.

Israel yet to provide evidence to back UNRWA 7 October attack claims – UN

A month after Israeli allegations that a dozen United Nations staff were involved in the 7 October Hamas attack, UN investigators have yet to receive any evidence from Israel to support the claims, though they expect some material to be forthcoming “shortly”.

The allegations against the 12 employees of the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine (UNRWA) led 16 major donors to suspend contributions totalling $450m at a time when more than 2 million Gazans are facing famine. UNRWA says it is approaching “breaking point” and only has sufficient funds to continue functioning for the next month at most.

They are liars, and thet will get found out for years to come.

There's this: https://discover.texasrealfood.com/keto-clarity-hub/keto-diet-and-stomach-ulcers  - take it or leave it.

After years of buying Omeprazole in bulk and eating Antacil like candy, at the age of 71 all that disappeared for me when I went low carb.

(Worked for me.  Drank some cheap Thai wine last night and got my first acid reflux attack in years, so diet must have something to do with it. Cured it with a teaspoon of baking powder).

Did the doctor ask about your diet? Problems with the digestion just might  have something to do with what you eat?

    Good luck mate.

I only eat Weetabix and berries/fruit for breakfast and something healthy for lunch, no meat. I don't have dinner.

    My problem is not digestion.

HP infection can vary by severity.  When they test for it, either by biopsy or breath test, the results give an indication of the bacterial count (often just shown as plus signs). The higher the count the more likely to be symptomatic.

Interesting, I notice that recently my dog has been interested in my breath. They can smell disease I heard?

Israel is the tip of our spear with most Arab countries now in our coalition. Iran is the new North Korea but with near-nuclear capabilities and an open desire to use them. this isn't about keeping the peace anymore, we're halfway into a chess match with Iran (and Russia) with nuclear consequences. personally, I think it's brilliant that Israel and Ukraine are holding the wall for us. the least we can do is provide them sharpening stones

Nonsense, Iran has no desire to use nuclear weapons.

They have them in defence as there are countries in the world that want their oil and have attacked their neighbours for theirs unjustly quite recently.  Americans. like you conveniently forget the unjust war and slaughter of 100's of thousands of innocent people in Iraq.

Well Israel does have one of the largest lobbies in America, so that is certainly a deterrent to a refusal to go along with their horrendous policies. And as you say there are other factors at work, but the bottom line is that we should not be supporting the extremist policies in Israel. It is simply not wise, nor is it visionary.

The close relationship between the US and Israel, due to this the lobby, often results in policies that prioritize Israeli interests over  regional stability or the rights of Palestinians. This can manifest in diplomatic support for Israeli actions, such as settlements in the occupied territories, military aid packages, and diplomatic cover in international forums.

One key aspect contributing to the lobby's influence is the significant, unproportionate percentage of Jews in various levels of the U.S. government, which can cause biases and conflicts of interest, particularly regarding U.S. foreign policy towards Israel and the Middle East.

Some here will say the Secretary of State being Jewish means nothing, or the Vice president being married to a Jew means nothing, or the President's children marrying Jews means nothing. Conflict of interest here. If Bidens grandkids were Muslim instead of Jewish, I bet he wouldn't be so supportive of the Gazan genocide.

To return to the OP's original question, and not taking into account anything regarding new/old, freezing or not, I would add the following:

If a person redeemed a pension (I'm not talking state here) at age 65, and opted for an escalating payment plan, i.e. one which increased as years go by, rather than a "flat line" example, he/she would need to survive many years for it to be a viable option.

I conducted an exercise some years back and discovered that the "break-even point" would have been 82 years of age. Also, this example doesn't take into account the potential investment value of receiving the higher amount during those first 17 years.

To sum up, whilst deferment remains a personal choice, I believe there good reasons for NOT doing so.... "A bird in the hand?"

    Thanks for the advice.

Israel is at great risk of becoming completely isolated from the rest of the world. Their remaining support seems to be waning by the day and for Nations like the US it's becoming harder and harder to support them, and more and more costly politically.

Netanyahu's fealty to homicidal extremists (the utra orthodox) is not helping on any level.

The US will always support Israel for reasons we can't talk about. It's not political.

In the worst case, H. pylori infection can progress from asymptomatic to stomach ulcers to cancers. What the specialist said is true. I have asymptomatic friends who chose not to go through the treatment.

Slow drones and missiles and after giving Israel plenty of notice.

From what I have read lately Iran has something like 3,000 ballistic missiles which are probably a lot faster faster and more accurate, which they chose not to use at the time.

Do you think that Iran should have responded with a heavier barrage or simply ignored the Israeli attack on their consulate in Syria.

Further to that, what response do YOU think Iran should make to the second unprovoked attack by Israel?

What disturbs me is that the US knew this attack was going to happen and did nothing to stop it.

Also, they supply the weapons to Israel.

You were lucky to get in the Ibis,  I work around Leeds a lot and the Ibis there no longer accepts normal paying British customers anymore, Asylum seekers only ( or at least those claiming to be) Many other hotels I used have gone the same way, and those that have remained open to us have all upped their prices due to the consequential  increased demand.   Yet another benefit of the UK's failed approach to immigration

    wow

Well I heard they are all going to be sent to Rwanda in the future, bizarre if true!

There's a protocol to treat H Pylori which is usually Omeprazole + two antibiotics (commonly, but not always, Amoxicillin & Metronidazole). Follow the protocol exactly as per your doc's instructions otherwise this pesky bacteria will stick around.

H Pylori often becomes an issue with dysbiosis (where the mix of bacteria and fungi in your gut is out of balance). This can happen for many reasons but is commonly due to excessive past use of antibiotics.

Good luck dealing with this and for sure, it is worth getting tested once you have completed the protocol to make sure the treatment has been successful.

Thanks, I'm taking Amoxicillin and Clarithromicin

More or less as above except not sole cause of ulcers.  It is, however, the most common cause.

Easily spread through contaminated food. Many people acquire it in childhood, it can be present a long time before causing obvious symptoms, and indeed in many peopke remains asymptomatic, reason unclear.

    Interesting, thanks.

Just wondering if I get rid of it with my antibiotics and my wife has it , could I get it again easily?
