  1. How old are you? I have a 21-year old daughter and if you are my age(50s) with a girl younger than that, I will give you a dirty look.
  2. What has the Arab league land got to do with the 1947 Partition plan? This was splitting British Palestine. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Nations_Partition_Plan_for_Palestine As you can see from the map, Israel got most of it. The plan's detractors considered the proposed plan to be pro-Zionist, with 56%[9] of the land allocated to the Jewish state although the Palestinian Arab population numbered twice the Jewish population. Zionist military forces expelled at least 750,000 Palestinians from their homes and lands and captured 78 percent of historic Palestine. The remaining 22 percent was divided into what are now the occupied West Bank and the besieged Gaza Strip. https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2022/5/15/nakba-mapping-palestinian-villages-destroyed-by-israel-in-1948
  3. You know very well that Israel was given plenty of land for their own state in 1948. The Jewish community accepted the plan, while the Arab community and surrounding Arab states rejected it. Israel started a war in 1967 and captured additional territories, including the West Bank, East Jerusalem, the Gaza Strip, the Sinai Peninsula, and the Golan Heights. The only way I can see for peace is for Israel to give the land back to the pre 1967 borders, stop the blockade and control of Gaza, and of course let Palestinian prisoners go, well the ones that haven't had any trial(over 1,000).
  4. Explain what you mean when you said I am lying about the fact that Palestinians/arabs have been in the area as long as Jews. Also, no need to resort to personal
  5. I am not lying. Israel is less than 80 years old, what are you talking about?
  6. I never said that it doesn't count. I simply said, "saying that they were continuously native to the area in large numbers oversimplifies history". Unlike many opinioned posters here, I have no skin in this game, I'm not American, Jewish, Israel, Arab, nor Muslim; I don't know why you use the term, "admitted". I never mentioned Muslims, I was talking about Palestinians, who have been there for as long as the Jews. I know many of the Arabs converted to Islam in the last 1,500 years or so, but their ancestors, who obv weren't Muslim as it didn't exist, were there thousands of years before. They should share the land, but Israel refuse to entertain that idea, hence the animosity against them.
  7. He never raped anyone and was never convicted, as far as I know of rape. Prove me wrong.
  8. I won't mention the Spanish inquisition lol, which existed less than 200 years ago. Those Catholics. Protestants too did similar things. Suggesting it's only Muslims is incorrect.
  9. Is Netanyahu and his right wing ultranationalist cabinet, who are being charged with war crimes by the ICC and ICC, Jewish, or do they represent a Jewish state?
  10. I've never said Jews never lived there. I never mentioned Muslims.
  11. He is not a convicted sexual abuser, what nonsense.
  12. The establishment of Israel was primarily driven by Zionist movements and Jewish immigration to the area, especially after World War II, and not solely by the UN. Jews did live in the region for thousands of years, but the idea that they were continuously native to the area in large numbers oversimplifies history. The area was home to various peoples and empires over millennia, with significant Jewish presence interspersed with other populations. The suggestion that Arabs (not recognizing them as Palestinians undermines their distinct national identity) could have stayed and prospered in Israel overlooks the complex realities and injustices faced by those who were displaced or fled during the 1948 Arab-Israeli war. Many were forced into refugee status due to violence and expulsion, not merely by choice. Hamas can't be defeated, and I'm surprised you believe otherwise. Not sure what you mean about women being enslaved, are you saying the Palestinians should have a culture the same as yours? As for the kids being brainwashed, come on man, look at what is really going on, thousands have been killed in the last 6 months and 21,000 are missing. Have you any idea what suffering and trauma these kids and all the other kids in Gaza will go through because of your government? I understand why you support Israel but try to look at the bigger picture. An estimated 21,000 children are missing in the Gaza war, many torn from their families, crushed by collapsed buildings, detained, disappeared or buried in unmarked graves, according to a report by the UK-based charity Save the Children. https://www.irishtimes.com/world/middle-east/2024/06/25/more-than-20000-children-missing-in-gaza-report-says/#:~:text=An estimated 21%2C000 children are, based charity Save the Children.
  13. Totally off topic and saying Palestinians are terrorists is hate speech.
  14. Nonsense, Jews were among the first immigrants to USA.
  15. I was referring to before Israel existed. Jewish sympathizers in the US supported Zionist terrorist groups, like Irgun. Not much has changed.
  16. How is understanding the conflict anything do do with hating Jews? I hope you don't have a persecution complex because what you write suggests it.
  17. Perhaps those supporting Israel's 'action', for better a word, don't understand the scale of how Palestinian lives are going to be affected for the next 50 years, and generations to come. Save the Children: Up to 21,000 Palestinian children missing in Gaza They include 4,000 who are likely trapped under the rubble and presumed dead and 17,000 who are unaccompanied and separated from their families, the charity said. https://www.middleeasteye.net/live-blog/live-blog-update/save-children-21000-palestinian-children-missing-gaza?nid=373676&topic=Israel%27s%20war%20on%20Gaza&fid=519981
  18. But what US officials don’t care to admit is that Israel is not thinking about an end to the military phase, and a beginning of a civilian reconstruction plan, argues Nathan Brown, professor of international relations and political science at George Washington University. Brown tells host Steve Clemons that Israel has purposely designed the carnage in Gaza to be a “forever war” – not as something that will ever be resolved, especially with a “blank cheque” from the US. https://www.aljazeera.com/program/the-bottom-line/2024/6/23/what-if-israels-plan-was-no-day-after-for-gaza-all-along
  19. In recent decades, the genocidal policies of Britain in Ireland have gained domestic recognition, but Britain’s equally racist policies in western Scotland remain widely undiscussed. https://scottishleftreview.scot/brutality-of-empire/
  20. You wouldn't understand what it is like to be colonised, as a Scot I do. Less than 200 years ago, there was ethnic cleansing during the Highland clearances. Would you forget that and like the monarch of the country that did it?
