  1. What an absolute idiotic campaign. 10,000 Baht reward. Imagine the amount of police officers that would accuse motorists of this to get the 10,000 they would have no chance to defend them selves against the false accusations and they would be fined around 20,000 Baht, half to the officer and the other half ????!!!!!!!

It should be the other way around reward to the motorist for reporting the officers for corruption. I have been threatened so many times by traffic police into giving them tea money.

  2. I have just finished reading an amassing book called "The Last Pope" it predicts all this from predictions over the last 900 years, it was quite scary really. It predicts this coming war started inthe Mid East and will build up to a WW111 and the end of the world.

Glad I will not be around. It also predicted that there would only be 2 more Popes after John Pau11 and then the end.

  3. Please, can a real journalist look into a few basic questions and publish in a major newspaper?

    1. Is it true that the victim's phone was handed over to police by her friend the day after the murder? Is this is same phone the police claim was found behind the room belonging to the suspects?

    2. Since the suspects worked at the very same bar that the victims were at that night, and since they didn't flee, how is it possible that the initial blanket DNA tests did not find a match?!?

    3. Is it true that relatives of prominent families on the island were exempted from giving DNA? If so, why? What law requires poor people to give DNA, but excuses rich people.

I know there are many, many more unanswered questions, but these stand out for me.

I would happily donate to a legal fund for defense for these guys. Perhaps an NGO can set that up here?

I agree with all you say, bloody farce the whole thing. They were told and under pressure to solve it what ever way they wanted.

The leaders of the major countries would be following this and most of them must be thinking also, they should put pressure onThailandfor real justice in this case.

I would also put to a fund but this is Thailand, would the money really go to their help.

  4. "Enter Before" date means ALL entries must be made before that date. So the guy in HCMC was correct, your visa was expired.

How long were you stamped for at Swampy?

If I remember correctly the visa has a date when issued and a date visa expiry date which is normally 3 months after issue date, and gives the date. He entered Thailand in June his visa was obviously a multi entry one, so the entry before date could have been October 10 or later and if so he had the correct visa and HCH were wrong.

  5. TRP is so stupid DNA test was done in UK the tapes were enhanced also already in UK they have killers picture. I think Villages head son my have unforunate accident soon possible suicide by hanging after slitting throat and shooting self 7 times in head. Thai style suicide.

What does TRP mean. DNA testing and video enhancing was never announced by the Police, how do you know or are you just full of BS

  6. They are under so much pressure to get a confession they are not interested in the true killers. Declined assistance from the FBI and the UK Police, these 2 are probably the best inthe world.

The kidnap of the young girl in Portugal, the Portuguese welcomed the British Police to help them.

It all points to the Head Mans circle. But the police do not want the guilty to be Thai. The PM should order the police to hand every thing and the guy over to the army and the army bring in the FBI and British Police to do a full checkup and interview with the accused guy.

The Thai Police are doing more damage to Thailand by not accepting outside expertise assistance. If it was a Thai who done it, it will not do greater damage, people know it can happen any where in the world. It does not stop people going to the country because the killer came from that country.

Thailand will get more respect and feel safer if they can believe the truth.

These are just my thoughts. Come on Thailand show the world you are not to proud to ask for help. You would get more respect.

  7. Friend of mne here have big problems with his feet with lure like problem.

He been away from UK more that 12 yrs, he went back few months ago to see if he could get something done on the NHS.

He had to register with a local GP and the GP sent him to see specialist at the hospital. Specialist said would take some time with all the treatment but he did not want to stay as he had no where to live.

To register with a local GP he had to give an address so he gave a friends address.

So I would say yes you can get your treatment in UK

  8. I read in the Bangkok Post Sept 25 Post Bag on alternative cures and very interesting one from Norman SR.

He was diagnosed one year ago with 3rd stage prostrate cancer that spread to his lungs. He started on a strict Vegan diet. He made a point of listing his diet but a few things I would like to fully understand.

Every day he takes a multi-fruit Smoothie in the morning and an Multi Veg extract in the late afternoon, not sure if he means a Multi Veg Smoothie.

I would assume Norman SR would be on Thai Visa, anyone know him please.

    Would love to contact him.

  9. Hi

I have lived in Khon Kaen for 5 yrs. I have a very experienced company look after me, accountancy and any other service you want. The company called Lexens (Thailand) Co Ltd. the owner Dr John Brownlee and his wife Juthathith Nigel-Brownlee she is also a lawyer, Dr John is Australian. Both speak perfect English and can help you in any way, very nice people. Click the company up on Google get their contact details, you can mention my name Ken Devey, we are good friends also..

The new car dealers in K/K are often promoting, they are in the ground floor of Big C many times doing a promotion with their cars on display and you can negotiate a cash price. Plenty motor scooter places just go in and do a deal if you not like their offer justo walk away.

    Best of luck.

  10. Why only negative responses? Personally, I think there is a hell of a lot more police work being done than is publicised and instead of being so critical, why not let the police/investigators do their job and if anything, be positive. So, unless any of you 'nay' sayers know exactly what is going on behind the scenes, would it not be best to keep quiet about it?

I doubt very much there's things going on we don't know about as to date the BIB can't stop talking.

Remember too the BIB, DSI etc have a habit of telegraphing their punches in advance about what they intend to do then lo and behold they can never find anybody.

The simple fact that the Police cannot keep their collective mouths shut has in part caused the problem itself. They failed to follow the evidence rather shoot from the hip ( normal way ) and found that what they said was NOT backed up by the evidence.

This has given time for those that know to deal with everyone else to keep them quiet, had the Police collected and acted on the evidence they had, the results now would be I am sure different. By teplgraphing what they know and what they are going to do, allows certain people to make sure the offenders are long gone, maybe that is what the BIB want, I don't know but it does seem to many of my colleagues and other retired police officers that is is a complete c***- up.

    You are dead right mate.

  11. And the farce goes on.100 extra personnel, indeed one can just visualize the competition twixt the characters involved and the total destruction of evidence and leads in their attempts at self promotion by these ''chocolate teapot characters'' in the Police farce force.

    Chocolate_Teapot_03_by_InfiniteDream.jpg

Give them a break, there was not much evidence for them get positive leads. The hoe, cigaret ends and the evidence from the lady. They did one very bad mistake by not closing the island down, no one in no one out.

  12. The police have to stop giving the clues to the press, they should just say we are following up on some new evidence that has come to our notice, we cannot say what it is at this point for fear of alerting the killer or killers.

I hope they have closed the island down. Would be their first grave mistake if they have not. People wanting to leave would have to give a voluntary DNA swab, if not they would be refused exit from the island.

  13. Most brand name clothing items bought in the west say made in Vietnam or Indonesia or Turkey now that didn't take long to figure out most brand name clothing manufacturers upped and left Thailand long ago.

Concerning Thai style fashion most Thais like western style clothing.

Kugel, I never mentioned brand name clothes, I am looking at the type we buy in the markets, men's shorts, tops and light cool shirts and jeans, ladies jeans, shorts, tops, belts and cheap dress jewlery,

  14. this is a wrong business for you if you have to ask us where to buy from. You should know exactly in which part of the world you get the best and cheapest items. I know many who live in Dubai but they manufacture in other country, many business from Shrilanka , China, India, Turkey etc. Even in Cambodia the best clothes they were selling was made in Thailand. So do your homework well before getting involved in it.

    Mr Faroukh

I was asking where to buy what the markets sellers buy from, I am not looking for top brand stuff, I want to hit the Holliday people there coming from Europe etc for a few weeks Holliday. Pity you cannot just answer a specific question.

  15. Bobe, Pratunam and Chatuchak are the main areas do an internet search for specific items and manufacturers Thailand is a bit pricey. Maybe equally important will be to find the regulations you might face in Spain as to duty, customs brokers needed or not? I would say that whatever you buy here, figure an additional 30-40% to land it in Spain then start adding your expenses from there.

Ye thanks, have done all that, have the duties, tax's and all, went their 1month ago and did it all.

  16. Well I suggested they do this last week, but they are silly not to get the UK police or the FBI to fine tune it. Very unprofessional police decision, there is still a lot that can be uncovered in DNA with the top equipment.

I hope they have shut the island down, no one in, no one out without DNA swabs. But that may be to much for them.

  17. Rohinya migrants now suspected in British couples death

    9-18-2014-10-42-37-PM-wpcf_728x413.jpg

BANGKOK: -- Local police today added Rohinya migrants into suspected groups of three to find out after DNA results ruled out all their earlier detained suspects from the murder of the two British tourists.

The British brothers and friends to the slain David Miller, Mr Christopher Ware, 24, and his brother James, were now in the custody of the British embassy and they will leave for homes tonight.

Christophers DNA test did not match those collected from the scene of murder and the victims body.

Besides he also was cleared of the wounds on his wrist which was old and not fresh wounds caused during lighting fireworks.

However the embassy officials said they were ready to give cooperation in case new investigation implicated him again in the murder.

Both were scheduled to depart for home tonight.

Pol Maj-Gen Kiatipong Khoasam-arng, chief of Surat Thani police, said he has received all DNA test results unofficially.

He said from the DNA test, there were mixed DNA samples inside Ms Hannah Witheridge, indicating more than one suspect were involved.

This gave the police clearer picture of suspected groups, but still did not rule out earlier theories, he said.

He said the police now gave more weight to an Asian looking man who appeared in the CCTV video footage of a resort home walking around near the scene wearing no shirt.

The man was at first thought to be a friend of the male victim, but after DNA test didnt match any detained suspect, the police have to turn to this man again.

But he said so far the police have not found the man.

However the police now have launched massive dragnet to find this man throughout the entire island, he said.

He said investigation would be back to square one with focus now on three groups, namely local Thai people on the island, migrant workers, and tourists.

But he said migrant workers is the most suspected group, particularly the Rohinya migrants, judging from the gruesome nature of the killing.

However the police still have not yet ruled out Christopher Ware because there are still several evidence which are pending forensic examination, he said.

They have looked at almost every other Nations people as being suspects but have they even for 1 second considered thais may be involved or is that just to ridiculous to even contemplate?
Good. Sounds like the police are not ruling anyone out. Glad to see they are keeping an open mind.

Ofcourse, if the attackers were native Thai then hearing the police are looking for a different ethnic group might result in the attackers letting their guard down.

Its only a matter of time before they are caught. Thats the way police work occurs everywhere in the world. Leads develop over time and are investigated. Guys brag to their buddies or girlfriends and when the friendships or relationships end then those secrets are exposed. Meanwhile, the police are collecting and processing evidence and keeping and exploring all avenues.

They never did the first and most important thing, they never closed the island down, no one can leave and no one can enter the island. And any one wanting to leave legit would have to give a DNA sample.
