Why do you not just open the windows and on the fan at night. The min. temp of outside air at 25-26C will be lower then those set into the aircon. Thus, humidity in the room will build up as the compressor will not be extracting mositure from the room much.

Hi. I still have company in New Zealand and we have been supplying Dehumidifiers for more than 20yr, my son runs it now. Moisture causes mold and mildew and it is alive. It thrives more in lower tempd than high and it need moisture to grow. As far as I know mould will not build up on the aluminium finns. Why you get water on the finns is because the humidity is in the area and it is pulled into the air con and the air beeing full of moisture hits the cold evaporator and makes the air very cold and turns the moisture in the air to water because the air cannot hold the moisture any more as it gets heavy. If you remember in the UK in winter and the outside temp is low we get water on the inside of the window and also get mould on the curtains. You also get it forming on the ceilings.

I am one of your fans. Many times I stay at a hotel in Bangkok for 1 or 2 nights. I try to get a taxi to the airport and he gives me a price, I say use meter they say no and tell me aprice again so I say no.

I would love the police to get these guys wanting the cashies. I have offten just managed to get the airport before they close the check in.

The power connections and cables are killers in Thailand just like in India. Nothing is earthed. I had a business in Pattay with 9 rental rooms, I heard about 2 deaths in some other room rentals that 2 people killed by electric shock in the shower. So I called electrician in to check all my rooms and nothing was earthed, I got him to earth the lot, 22,000 was worth it to know it would not happen in my place. The speed boat guys are drain dead shits it is the same off the Pattaya beach and Jomtien they come so close to the shore, I have offten screamed at them when week ends there are a lot of children and the boat guys just stick their finger up. For snookelers own safety they shoul buy a gas bloon to tie around their glasses. So sorry for the guy.

me one time for overtaking 2 wagons on a dual road way I said through my Thai wife I was overtaking the trucks and he said I was only allowed

to take over 1 truck at a time and pull into the left lane and then I can take over the other one, I just laughed and gave him the 200baht.
