Then this is a poll of the truly out of touch and/or stupid because before making it legal, children and youth made up 70-80% of the users. Those are the people that didn't think or care about jail for getting high.
Are these same people concerned over the inappropriate/illegal use of tobacco and alcohol among children and youth?
...or the appalling traffic death toll among young Thais?

When was that groundbreaking decision brainstormed? During a "hemp luncheon"?

to prevent abuse of cannabis and hemp among students and teaching staff
I can only imagine the scenes that must've been going on in faculty lounges since June 9. Afternoon classes probably had to be suspended most days as teachers were incapable of crawling to the class rooms after "lunch". Not that the students were in any better shape...

Isn't it amazing how quickly that much trumpeted blanket "cannabis liberalization" has been curtailed again - all in the span of just 1 week?
And that happens soooo frequently in Thailand, with laws being issued in a hurry without having been thought through, turning out to have more holes than my great-grandma's self-knitted woolen stockings.

None of these vaccines makes people "immune" against the virus. One would think that this fact also should have sunk in with Thai "experts" in the meantime...

I am a long-haired dude with a huge beer belly and man boobs. Will I be able to buy my pot without running into trouble? I mean, people might mistake me for a pregnant, lactating woman... as my face is still concealed behind a mask.

Well... it seems the hackers were not the only ones with "minimal education".

You forgot Francisco, Pablo and Chen Meng Xiao.
As far as her forever husbands are concerned, she can be a bit like the monsoon. She comes -- and goes.

Yer, back in the 90s they had this great big Fish Tank --somewhere up in Soi Cowboy area. you would sit there with you beer throwing coins in and the naked girls would be swimming around , getting them. Nice way to spend a Sunday afternoon with a quite beer or 10 .
Thailand---it really has calmed down a lot over the years hasn't it.....................
I believe that actually was "Mermaid's" in Nana Plaza. I should know. I fished one of my GF's from that tank, baiting her with a wad of 100-baht bills. She took it hook, line and sinker.

He went on to marry his 18-year-old Swedish au-pair after realizing that Natt had been clipping other guys' toe nails, too..

She's lovely, although there is a hint of hardness in her face. Right age. I think she would probably make for an interesting life partner. Not boring like some typical 'good' Thai farm girls...

I remember her, she looks different with her clothes on.
Isn't that a quote from a James Bond film, "The Man with the Golden Gun"?
Bond: "Oh, Miss Anders, I didn't recognize you with your clothes on."

In 2012 she made more headlines after marrying an American millionaire who was nearly twice her age. The marriage didn’t work out and they were divorced five years later.
I remember that, including the rather picante photos showing Natt lovingly clipping the thick toe nails of her geezer husband, "Harold", who insisted that she was his true sole mate and that their love would last forever. Of course, there soon emerged rumors that she apparently was also clipping the toe nails of a few other guys...

I preferred the really old way.... when a whole bag of sticky flowers and buds (20 grams) was.... 40 baht. That was in the mid-1990s, of course.

The hundreds of banana boats, scooters, snorkeling platforms and longtail boats that usually prevent beachgoers from seeing the water at all also are missing...

And if law enforcement are too damn lazy to do anything feel free to post it on social media to get them off the fat rear-ends.
I bet that's against against the law, too.
We all know by whom and for whom these laws are made.

Any part of the plant over 0.2% is illegal, the buds cannot be used in food or for smoking as anything above 0.2% is still considered a Category 5 drug and will be prosecuted. This isn't a law, it's a joke
Thank you! Finally someone says it. Because the media - including the OP - still reports it wrongly. The OP for example only refers to "oil extracts".
I wonder why this is all so difficult to understand.
EVERY part of or substance derived from hemp/cannabis plant that has a THC content of more than 0.2% (either by dried or liquid weight) remains ILLEGAL.

What a hypocrite. She wouldn't be seen dead with a farmers' scarf tied around her waist when she frequents obscenely expensive clubs and restaurants in Bangkok and Chiang Mai with her posse of coat-tailing sycophant friends.
On another note: it might be the photo's low resolution... but why is she having a white moustache gracing her upper lip? Milk fan? Foaming at the mouth? Or... (noooo, discard that thought!!!)
