  1. Hi!

Dark, cold and wet weather had me spend the weekend indoors, glued to my computer screen watching my old slides from years gone!

I came up with these colourful flower pics taken during the Chiang Mai "Flower Festival" back in February 1995.

I have tried to polish them up again and get some life into these darkened old slides, and finally decided to put them up in an album.

  2. This picture was taken in Muang Khong, Champasak Province, Laos, back in 1996.

Poor but proud little girl came forward to me and started to pose, totally unafraid and not as suspicious as her friends!

Maybe it was the knife she is holding that gave her the courage!? :o

  3. Hi!

I took this old slide back in 1987 from the top of a building opposite the "Grand Palace" in Bangkok.

Picture has been cropped, saturated, dust been removed, sharpened and the sky changed to a clear blue one!

Here's the original downscaled to the same size for comparison.

  4. Beautiful picture like the way you have smoothened it given it a soft mysterious glow!

Here's my attempt from back in 1988.

I stayed a few days in a bungalow near Tham Phraya Nakhon and went up there everyday around 10.00am when the sun would strike the Royal Pavilion, but this was my best shot.

    Here's another one.

  5. Colours are oversaturated, horizon is leaning to the left, the lightpole and plastic floats in the water looks too un-natural!

I'd take the picture at low tide and at another spot that looks more natural, closer to the water with the sky and clouds reflecting in the water.

Something like this, but taken at sundown!
