Great stuff there boss. Golden ladders, golden staircases, golden thrones, golden crowns!!

Is it only Johnny Cash and CMNightRider who knows all this stuff? Fantastic music, but the words!!! He had well lost at the end but, did the original when he was just 30.

Actually, there are an estimated 2.2 billion Christians in the world, which makes Christianity the largest religion on the planet.

Justify the slaughter of millions in the name of Christ. Just because you believe a god created the "something from nothing" scenario, don't make it so. You are just trying to give an explanation for something that is beyond our comprehension.

Anyone claiming God has told them to kill in His name is a liar, for God has already spoken on this matter in His Word (the Bible).

Violence in the name of religion has been a staple of human history. (Religion isn’t the only cause of violence. The three leading candidates for crimes against humanity in the 20th century—Hitler, Stalin and Mao—weren’t religiously motivated.)

Are you telling me DNA found in humans, animals, sea life, and plant life, which leads a person with an average IQ to see there has to be an intelligent designer, God, is beyond your comprehension?  You have got to be kidding me, lol.

I am so sorry for anything negative I have ever said to you.  I had no idea you were a low functioning adult.  Hopefully, you have someone who takes care of you.  I suspect a couple of your like minded friends stay at the same nursing home as you.

That is also why us atheists(bad people)do not go around killing and raping. We also seem to know the difference between good and bad.

I do not need to be scared into trying to do the right thing.

Maybe that makes me a better person? You are using another very old argument,it gets very boring.

God programed all humans to know the difference between right and wrong.  Atheists are no different from anyone else when it comes to commiting crimes.

However, atheists appear to be blinded when it comes to the belief in God, which is why you should read the Bible so you can know the truth.  There is nothing "boring" when it comes to what God wants us to know.

Can you tell mewhich god i have to believe in?There are so many.

That would be the God who is in the Holly Bible, who sent his only Son, Jesus Christ to die on a cross for all who ask for forgiveness and is willing to repent of sin.  I can only guess, English is not your first language by the way you write but thanks for asking.

If it simplifies and gives meaning to your life to believe in an all-knowing god of creation, good for you, but just don't expect everyone else to swallow that hogwash.

Does this mean you have no idea how humans, animals, sea life, and plant life have such complex DNA?  Do you still think something came from nothing?

One thing is for certain, we will all experience a physical death and will all stand before God to be judged on what we did and didn't do with our time on earth.  I would think you would have sleepless nights pondering this thought.

All at the low price of the surrender your mental facalties. Faith is the word used to discribe the belief in something for no good reason.

Instead of posting silly cartoons to amuse your immature like minded friends, maybe you can explain how humans, animals, sea life, and plant life have such complex DNA.  Try to do this without the aid of cartoons.

Looks like you may have been indoctrinated at some stage CMN..

I believe you have the term "indoctrinated" confused with common sense.  Not everyone possesses common sense as you can tell when reading many of the comments regarding who created the universe.  Some of these posters actually believe humans, animals, sea life, and plant life originated billions of years ago, from some mysterious organism in some mud puddle.

Anyone curious enough to read the Bible who possesses a reading and comprehension level of a sixth grader, would understand God created us along with the universe and everything in it.  When one looks at DNA in humans, animals, sea life and plant life, there is no other logical conclusion one could come up with other than an intelligent designer "God."

God inspired about forty different authors over a fifteen hundred year time period to write an instructional manual called the Bible to explain why we are on this planet, along with how all this was created.  God made it crystal clear our lives on earth have meaning and we are all destined to stand before Jesus when we die.

Armed with this knowledge, I would not want to spend my life as an atheist denying God's existence and that Jesus Christ didn't die on the cross so we could have eternal life in Heaven instead of spending eternity in hell.  It seems like an easy decision to make but it appears many who post silly comments on this site find it difficult to believe God would give us such a gift.

It costs to be stupid.  The stupider you are, the more it costs.

  8. Atheists have no explanation for the origin of life or mankind’s sinful nature, in spite of their noises to the contrary.  The God of the Bible, on the other hand, has given us the only historical basis for understanding the origin of the human gene—and mankind’s sinful nature—His Word.

Not only is the Creator God the source of all life and the source of our knowledge about life, He is our only hope (through Jesus Christ, the Creator/Savior/Redeemer) to escape the consequences of our evil nature, which blinds us to His truths (1 Corinthians 2:14) and causes us to seek our own way (Romans 3:11).

  9. Songthaew's are fine for towns located in the boonies but are not a practical means of public transportation in a city like Chiang Mai.  Who in their right mind wants to ride in the back of a dirty pickup truck when you can summons an air-conditioned clean vehicle.  Besides being driven by many times drunk individuals, the songthaews add to Chiang Mai's traffic congestion.

  10. Picture a guy floating downstream on a raft on a hot summer day. He’s having the time of his life, enjoying the ride as the cool water gently splashes on him. You’re on the shore and you know that there’s a deadly waterfall not far downstream. This guy is floating blissfully and ignorantly toward certain destruction! So you yell to warn him. You throw him a rope. But he rejects it and keeps floating toward certain death. Why won’t he grab the life preserver? Because he loves what he’s doing and he doesn’t want to believe your warning.

Why do people reject God’s wonderful offer of salvation through Jesus Christ? You would think that everyone would eagerly grab the life preserver that God has thrown out through the gospel (John 3:16????For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.” Why would anyone reject such a wonderful offer? Why would anyone want to keep heading for eternal destruction? In our text, John shows us:

People reject Christ because they love their sin and they hate having it exposed by God’s light.

  11. This recent press release about the latest criminal offenders Thai Immigration has captured, is a good example why international criminals evading law enforcement, and various other dangerous criminals flock to Thailand.

Thailand's law enforcement community has their hands full with law abiding western retirees making sure they do their 90 day reports and TM forms on time, hunting down romance scam artist, and women selling spiked cough syrup.  You just can't make stuff like this up ????

Got to give credit to the French Canadian lawyer. @1.26:30 he calls out the general and his subordinates who have basically been refusing to answer the questions and just saying "the law is the law and must be complied with."  He asks why wasn't it the case for 40 years and brings up other instances of non-enforced laws. And reply? None. Passed things off to a comment from the Australian Chamber of Commerce who quickly moved to praise immigration for making things "so much easier." BTW, why no American representative at this forum?  UK, Canada, Australia. No Americans.

Apparently, the American Embassy has turned their backs on the American retirement community living in Thailand.

I’m so fed up reading about tm30 on this forum ......I just did mine this morning in and out in 8 minuits ,immigration were happy, smiling, friendly and helpful seriously what is all the fuss about ....moaners will be moaners where ever they are in the world.

Thank you for your comment Mr. or Ms. immigration officer.  I have never seen any Thai Immigration staff happy, smiling, friendly, or even particularly helpful, during any of my many required immigration visits.

Maybe some of them smile at the foreigners leaving their immigration office after being turned down for their one year visa extensions, and are even happy while giving the foreigners the bad news.

None of the expat posters on this site are moaning about anything.  These people are simply pointing out the idoitic restrictions being placed on expats under the guise of security. ????

  14. These "bad foreigner" articles coming from Thai Immigration are laughable and simple minded at best.  Does the Thai public actually believe these naive articles about so called bad foreigners?  Unfortunately, the answer is yes.

Thailand is like being in some sort of time warp cut off from the rest of the world.  I have met so many really nice Thais but their knowledge of the outside world is very limited, and the education these people receive is nothing short of pathetic.

However, after observing multiple photo opportunities of Thai Immigration leaders standing in front of large anti-foreigner posters, and how their idiotic rules and regulations are making life more difficult for westerners, I'm convinced the people at the highest government positions want westerners out of their country.
