As I recall, you used the expression "or rub one out myself". If you have an alternative explanation to the inference I believe most posters would make, I'd like to see it.
You're completely missing the point. Money has nothing to do with it. I can't stand spending TIME with someone I can't have a conversation with above the level of a 6 year old. I rent or prefer self abuse rather than trade my life for shackling myself to someone I don't much like, REGARDLESS of how attractive she may be.

Cheap Charlie of the week award. Are you serious? Saving money on sex in THAILAND?
At what point did I EVER mention money You ever had a soapy? They're probably the MOST expensive sex you can procure. I just can't stand wasting time on pointless, childish conversations.
When I was in the Navy, frequenting Subic Bay, we had shirts made that sad "My name is so-and-so, I'm on the U.S.S. Whatever, and no, I will not buy you a drink" cuz that's what EVERY conversation was. No thanks.

Q: How does a real man bring a woman to orgasm?
A: Who cares?
The average weekly or monthly sexual encounters vary depending on the source, but it's not a whole bunch. I can't stand shopping with a woman, the depth of English conversations go no further than "Did you like that (fill in any meal/movie/encounter here)?" It just grows too old too fast. I prefer to just go get a soapy or rub one out myself.

I believe there was an article recently about Chinese getting in trouble for not reporting within 24 hours. As with everything else in LOS, I would bet it's hit and miss, but I wouldn't take a chance. If possible, do it within 24 hours.

So based on fact that the over-hyped social meltdown and civil collapse never happened, you have blown your emergency escape wedge on beer and titties already?

Before a certain extremely famous and revered person passed, I always hid $1000 US cash in my condo. My thought was "When this person passes, the country may spiral into chaos and I may need to make a quick exit." The person passed, nothing resembling chaos ensued, and I made it rain a few nights at LK Metro.

Where's your evidence? I don't know a single person leaving. I scared up the money, others are using the "I know a guy who knows a guy" method. Nothing has changed.

I believe life had some sort of intelligent design, and as I've pulled human remains out of a submerged plane crash and observed the lack of life, there is something about humans having a soul. It's even been weighed. As much as the method used to weigh the soul was sloppy science, I think the bible is sloppy narrative. Jesus was a short dark guy, not the European with flowing brown hair currently selling His book. It's been rewritten so many times with so many inconsistencies that it's difficult to fathom anyone taking it 100% seriously. There ARE many good parables, the lessons are good standards to apply to your walk through life. Do I believe we were created? Yes. Do I believe in the Judeo-Christian interpretation of God? No.

I'll be travelling to Thailand in June for 10 days to renew my extension of stay. My ฿800,000 will be seasoned for over two months so that should be no problem. My concern is having no permanent home. I'm planning on staying at Sutus Court in Pattaya on Soi Buakhow. Will they provide me a proper TM30?

Do the 90 day report online and avoid interaction. The less the better.
I've been doing them online for over a year, I believe they finally got one right.

I just answered TWICE to this OP. I guess he/she didn't like what I had to say.

With the new requirements, your only options are to use an agent (illegal and not recommended) or seek life in a country with less retirement restrictions. There are schools that will hire you if you really look. Times are desperate for schools.

This doesn't mean to ignore what the bank has said about refusing any more transfers. This is just a real time report that I transferred $2000 US from my US credit union to Bangkok Bank and it was accepted as of 03 April. They may refuse in the future, and I've dialed in Transferwise to the point I'm comfortable with their time and fees. Just sayin'.

I'm going to get the ฿800,000 transferred to my Thai Bangkok Bank branch in Jomtien soon enough to satisfy 2 months but not 3 months of seasoning. Has anyone had any personal experience of Jomtien refusing an extension of stay based on only 2 months seasoning? This will NOT be my first extension of stay.

Though not perfect I only plan to hold 300k +- to equal the the 800k annually n use the monthly transfers for expenses.
Anyone have a better idea can’t wait to hear it?
I recently read from another member Jomtien immigration will NOT accept this method. It's EITHER the full 800,000 OR the full 65,000 monthly. It's too much bother to try and figure out any type of combination and they just plain refuse to do it, as busy as they are.

Don't bring your car. Driving here is dangerous enough without driving from the wrong side of the vehicle. You run the chance of tariffs any time you bring in anything. I brought in a bicycle I had honestly purchased in Thailand, brought to the states for an extended stay, them brought back. I had a devil of a time convincing them I bought it in Pattaya. You can most likely get any tools or electronic gadgets here. DO bring a positive attitude and make up your OWN mind from your OWN experience after you've been here. Thailand isn't for everybody, and you'll find out soon enough if you and Thailand are a good fit.

I was in the U.S. Navy many moons ago. EVERY time we were about to pull into a foreign port, all us young bucks were mustered up and reminded we were ambassadors of our country and WE were the foreigners. It's their country, we adhere to their rules and regulations or pull up stakes and leave. I left Thailand a few years back - I'd had it with all their nonsense. I was back in 6 months with a new appreciation. The Philippines has lousy infrastructure, Cambodia is a cesspool getting overrun with Chinese casinos, and so on. Now, these are MY opinions, and are my reasons to continue putting up with Thailand's rules. That and the really cute girls. I had to do some scrambling to come up with the necessary cash and don't begrudge it at all. Being a foreigner complaining about a sovereign nation's decisions won't make you happy nor win you any friends.

In light of all the new immigration rules, I'm sure many have scurried to satisfy retirement requirements.
1. What is the current best way to transfer $25,000 US to Bank of Bangkok?
Can I transfer to the New York branch and it will then associate with my Thai bank?
2. What is the current best way to transfer $2,000 US monthly to Bank of Bangkok that will make Jomtien immigration happy?

Dive Alert Network (DAN) offers very inexpensive travel insurance, and you don't need to be a diver to get it.

Save yourself the heartache and drama - drop her now. RENT, buddy, don't be so anxious to own, especially as young as you are.

A few years ago I used to rent a cheap room, got my TM30 registered there, and kept it regardless of where I lived. It was worth it to avoid just this kind of hassle.
