I fly first class and have NEVER seen it at full capacity EVER. This is Delta gouging folks and I hope it backfires on them.

Manning tried going the route of whistle blower protection and was instead imprisoned. The damage she saw happening was to the citizens, and the government has punished her for it.

I thought water after 6:00 p.m. and super soakers were deemed illegal.

I believe life had some sort of intelligent design, and as I've pulled human remains out of a submerged plane crash and observed the lack of life, there is something about humans having a soul. It's even been weighed. As much as the method used to weigh the soul was sloppy science, I think the bible is sloppy narrative. Jesus was a short dark guy, not the European with flowing brown hair currently selling His book. It's been rewritten so many times with so many inconsistencies that it's difficult to fathom anyone taking it 100% seriously. There ARE many good parables, the lessons are good standards to apply to your walk through life. Do I believe we were created? Yes. Do I believe in the Judeo-Christian interpretation of God? No.

From the article: "The new rules are sowing chaos and confusion"
The dust has settled, we've either acclimated or moved on. I know a guy who knows a guy, and that guy says it's business as usual (though he raised his annual rates by ฿500). Yes, we were confused and anxious, but the days of 500+ responses in a 24 hour period about announcements made by immigration (alleged or actual) are done. Life goes on.

Yeah, and I want my tallywhacker to achieve a 66 HRC. Let's see who gets there first.

Wasn't it previously referred to as "The Seven Deadly Days?"

As I've written several times before, I left Thailand after 10 years of putting up with their nonsense and was back six weeks later with a new appreciation. I've been in the states caring for a very sick relative since 1 Aug 2018 and get to return in June. I guess thoughts and prayers DO work <sarcasm>. Each time I leave for an extended period of time reminds me of why I still live in Thailand. Traveling to a new country solo can be daunting, but to the victors go the spoils. Take the plunge, be cautious and DON'T fall in love! This is a great place to rent, don't purchase so early in your life (and I'm sure you know I'm NOT talking about real estate).

He was the fair-haired boy for SO long, and appeared to be making some actual progress. Obviously he couldn't read the tea
moneyleaves about how that wasn't REALLY what the powers that be wanted. My only question is if they gave him any warning about backing off, and his hubris got the better of him.- 3

I'm not a statistician, either, but I play one on TV. This story REEKS.

Just be yourself. Date, don't do anything permanent, you're both too young for that. Practice safe sex.

Just do it. Don't do stupid stuff like getting staggering drunk walking on the beach at 3:00 a.m. Lurk as you've been doing on ThaiVisa to get a feel for the place. Remember you are the foreigner, this is THEIR country. Don't quarrel with the locals, you will ALWAYS lose. Ask up front how much a motorbike taxi will cost and tip them 10 baht. If in Pattaya, go to Tiffany's show. If in Phuket, go to Fantasea. Enjoy your trip!

Obama started it! Next question?
I thought we were well past the "He did it, so why can't Trump?" defense. Obama's sins don't justify Trump's offenses. Besides, I thought Trump abhorred all things Obama. Next?

It's not about the wall, it's about the child separation policy. Nielsen said she wouldn't do it as it was illegal, immoral, just plain wrong. Trump doesn't care about adhering to the laws nor the constitution. He demands loyalty to his man-child whims, his multiple lies, or you're out the door.

There have been a half dozen close Trump aides in trouble with the law (indicted, convicted and/or jailed). 37 people/entities so far in legal trouble as Mueller successfully navigated this "maze." Trump PUBLICLY sided with Russia over the warnings of US security forces, had private meetings with Russian oligarchs, and hides ANY information that WOULD exonerate him if he were innocent. This is the behavior of a guilty man.

Why is that?

This will go to the Supreme Court, at which time we will see if the US government truly has been purchased.

THAT was a long run for a Trump appointee.
"In spring 2018, he reportedly threw a tantrum at her during a cabinet meeting over why she didn’t just 'close the border'”
There is no pleasing this spoiled man-child.

Apples and oranges. You have no right to another's property. This was an emergency and the HUMANE thing to have done would be accommodate the child. There would have been no real cost. And I grow weary of PC crap.
