Probably not sufficiently abstract, but I was trying to bring out the patterns and textures rather than photograph the object. This was from the phase I went through that produced the mushroom shot, i.e. stick a light under something and see what happens.

Very good one.

I find them a mild annoyance. I am thankful that they are not stationary and they eventually move out of ear-shot.
I'm not in charge and try to go with the flow here.
Propaganda trucks.

interesting indeed as this checkpoint would be very easy to reach even from BKK. I hope some Farang from Phrachuap province can report soon
Allowing farang to use this border would create a lot of 10 $ notes..

I too once opened a bank acct. using a hotel's address, though of course, I did not state it was a hotel. Nor did I say that the phone number which I gave them was also the hotel's. If one bank won't open an acct for you, try others.
Yep, I did that too, but back in 1991. No Problem then and I can't see why it would be one nowadays, as many hotels and guesthouses
offer long term rentals.

The centre of gastronomic delight is Britain! The Thais here can't cook Thai food like in England; the Chinese food here is not a patch on the stuff you can eat in UK. The same is true of Indian curries - I lived near Burnley/Bradford/Manchester and can't get proper stuff in Pattaya.

Typical reaction to put the blame on others.
Anyway, as the PEA allows other companies to use their poles, the PEA has to check wether those companies properly install the wires.
So Pea is responsible here.

I agree! It's great. They offer a sub/sandwich for 90 baht that I really love... I was there yesterday too.
What's in a Vietnamese sub sandwich?
The enclosed photo shows the classic Banh Mi sandwich. Every place has their own version. The place in C.M. mentioned above uses a good selection of veggies and chili, really tender grilled pork, pate, and some really tasty sauces. Their bread is the best French bread I've had in C.M. It's crispy outside and soft inside.
They have very nice versions of these sandwiches in Laos also.
Looks very delicious.

I hope the tourist police can't contact me online.
Yep, true indeed.

Just another case for the TV detectives.

Quote "" the process may take time as all the work requests must make their way through corporate bureaucracies and be approved by head offices in Bangkok""
