  1. The report about Thailand probably being removed from the red list on Thursday, has proved to be correct. Not only has Thailand been removed from the red list, but, at least AZ, administered in Thailand. is being recognized in the UK as fully vaccinated. Very positive developments for Thais and Thai Residents intending travelling to the UK.
  2. If the list published by the BBC is read fully, this clearly states that a new list is to be decided on and listed on Thursday and should refer to the list of red countries in S.America and Asia. Let‘s see if the to be published list excludes Thailand a.o.
  3. I am a PR living in Chiang Mai. When and if Chiang Mai (supposedly November 1) opens and fully vaccinated (I have two AZ vaccinations), people do not need to enter quarantine, I would like to go to Europe for a short while (app. 2 weeks). Will a CoE still be necessary and if so, can one obtain one here before leaving on holiday. Obviously, as a PR holder, I have a reentry visa and a stamp on my PR book allowing me to leave and return within 12 months. Your views and advice would be greatly appreciated
  4. Fully vaccinated, both shots AstraZeneca, both here in Thailand.
  5. I do know of honest people who used the system to return to Thailand, their permanent residence. There was nothing wrong about it. They had the choice of flying to Bangkok and spend 14 days in hotel quarantine, or fly to Phuket, stay there 14 days wandering around and enjoying their time there and then returning home, wherever that is in Thailand. So, what's wrong with this, it’s a win-win solution.
  6. Yes, I got my second AZ shot yesterday. I got my first jab on June 7. and had an appointment for the second one for September 27. I was contacted about three weeks ago, advising me that my appointment for the second AZ shot had been changed to August 30. There was no fuss and I was in and out in 35 minutes. The whole place was very well run.
  7. How nice and refreshing to read a positive comment instead of the usual saddening, complaining ones. many thanks!
