Thailand, Vietnam and Laos are all alike. They do not follow the traffic regulation. The drivers are impatience. They do not care about the safety of other people. I feel scare just being in the transportation.
-
Trust me. It is much safer than Thailand. You better go now because Laos is changing very fast. The reason being is many investors are pouring money into Laos. The lifestyle and cultures will soon fade away with this civilization.

Wow! I'm going back to Hong Kong again next year.

Well, I'm shock that the polices were shock.

When I bought the rice in the supermarket, I did not even look to see if it was from Thailand or Vietnam. The cheaper one will have my money.

It looks like someone is using the cheap materials to gain more profits.

Why do farangs like to spread their diseases in Thailand? (haizzzzz)

Singapore taxi is more expensive. However, I feel safer using their service. In Bangkok, I will prefer having the drivers in his 50's. I have several bad experiences with them. Raising the rate along with their services would be nice.

The whole ordeals are Thai political games. Started out with the Democrats took his passport, citizenship and police status. Pheu Thai won the election, and they will undo what the opponents did. If the people don't want him back, Pheu Thai will never win the election. Democrats, win the election first before making the wave for the peace of your country.

You should book in advance from 1 1/2 month down to a month. Your booking is too early which leave you to pay a bit more because many airlines have charted out the flight schedules that far in advance.

The people elected Yingluck over Abhisit for?

I don't even care about the flight attendants. If the price is right and safe, I am using their service.

Don't be surprised. This is normal for Thai politicians. There were similar incidents last year.

Thailand, the hub of claiming to be a hub.

Don't worry. Thai people have money. They can sustain without tourists.

Wow! That's over $1 million on just the ATM withdrawals. Amazing Thailand!

I disagree with building the dam too. Personally, I feel that the outsiders are putting some dinero into the Lao officials' hands and push for this project to happen.

I personally would not go to Thailand at this time even though there are several dry places. They can advertise all they want. The country is still having hardship. In addition, I would be cautious using their water and eating their foods. Visiting Thailand is not a necessity. I can wait until the flood water completely receded, trashes being cleaned up, businesses and lives operated as normal, water being treated, etc. I am sure that I am not the only one thinking this way.

Wanted Yellow Shirt Leaders to report police for breaking in the Government House and the Airport. Put the reds and yellows in jail together. End of story!
-
This is what a desperate person would do. Lie to the innocent travelers.
-
As much as I know about the flood situations and where it affects, I would not visit Thailand at this time. This is from a tourist's perspective.
-
It reminds me of the flood in New Orlean. America is more advance, but I did not see them handle the situation any better than Thailand. It is a lesson learned, and hopefully, no one will object to the water management budget to prevent future flood.

The army can help only when the State of Emergency is declared?

I say it depends on where you declare your residency. If you go as a tourist and work remotely, Iyou do not have to pay Thai taxes. If you declare residency in Thailand and work there, you will be subjected to Thai taxes for earned income.

They accept dollar, baht and kip. Baht and kip would be more acceptable. If you carry dollar, you have to look for the shops that exchange it into kip.
