As a new iphone user can someone plse advise if possible to download free ring tones from a non-apple site without going thru itunes. I have tried to register an ID with itunes but they will not accept details of a non-thai credit card as my mailing address is in Thailand. Any good options here, thanks

If you are arriving at 0830am then be prepared for a little traffic from people going to work,the normal fare I pay from the Airport to Ngam Wong Wan area is THB 300-350 and I do this trip once a month.

For those interested, Muang Ake Vista has re-opened all 18 holes, was out there on Sunday to check and all reports received it is playing okay. The only negative is that their restuarant downstairs is still closed down so no lunches after golf unless you go to Muang Ake main clubhouse

Anyone living out near Muang Ake Vista know when or if it will be re-opening ??? the listed phone numbers do not answer and its sister course Muang Ake couldnt tell me anything ?? thanks

Yes gkinbkk that is correct as I purchased one early last year to watch the NRL on Setanta Sports via another dish and satelite and most games were in HD and superb quality that you can nearly smell the green grass !!!!

If you are able to receive UBC/True Visions then Rugby Union and NRL matches are now shown on channel 107, free to air currently. This is "Setanta Sports Asia" a big bonus for aussie NRL fans when the 2012 comp starts 01 March !!!!!

Good news for Rugby fans !!! True Visions (UBC) are now televising "Setanta Sports" free to air on Channel 107 (gold & platinum subscribers).Aust TV lost the NRL rights last year and Setanta televised all selected NRL games including state of origin games all last year via the Fox and Channel Nine networks in Oz.If you have a HD box then even better as most games are in HD and programes can be sourced from the Setanta Sports website. No I am not associated with either True or Setanta just an aussie that appreciates his rugby league !!!

Setanta Sports Asia is a pure Rugby Union & League channel http://www.setanta.com/asia/TV-Listings/ this gives you a sample of today viewing but the times are HKG so you need to subtract 1 hour for Thailand viewing. To get this channel and satelite you need an "Open Box" set top box and a dish. Suggest that you may wish to contact JSAT TV,I think they have a branch in Pattaya. I have had one for the past 3 months and its great because you also get the games in HD.

I also purchased an open box from JSat recently so I can watch all the Aust NRL games and I am very pleased with it and also the after sales service from JSat and no I am not connected with JSat whatsover but have had dealings with them over the past 7 years.

As I did not receive any response I did some other research and solved the problem: You go to bluetooth menu and select device properties and change the status of "trusted" to yes and then it automatically connects once the car ignition is switched on.

Can anyone kindly advise the setting to make so my paired device in my vehicle is automatic when I start my engine instead of me having to manually connect to the bluetooth hands free device all the time,thanks

Could you just get a hotel room/suite? Maybe at the SGS or Westin so convenient to both the MRT and BTS. You should be able to book a meeting room, maybe use an acronym if you think it is a problem using your hotel's name?

The Amari Boulevard on Suk 5 has a great small boardroom on the lobby level & this hotel is a close walk from Nana BTS, no I am not associated with this hotel but have used this room some time ago for meetings with overseas clients.

You can download an application from Cydia called Tonefxpro 2 or just download a theme for Winterboard, but you need to be jailbroken yes

A quick phone call to the Landmark can confirm that they do not have Turkey, Roast Beef or a large variety of salmon on Weekday lunch, only on SUNDAY BRUNCH

My mistake. The last couple of times was indeed on a sunday. I am aware that many hotels have brunch on sundays. But I just didn't realise Landmark have brunch on sundays, since my creditcard statment (and receipt) says lunch.

In the lower sukhumvit area. Make sure you go during Friday or Saturday when there is a larger selection and spread. More expensive too of course, but at the Plaza Athenee for around 1900 Nett you can have unlimited Maine Lobster grilled and served to your table.

Go to Lower Sukhumvit soi 4 and hire yourself a "tour guide" she will know which are the best for sure and will have tried all of them.
