    I seriously doubt that it would lower the prices in the bars, just increase profits for the bar owners. Maybe good for those drinking wine at home, but didn't they state that they were going to lower the tax on wine a few years back?

    Also, with the 7 days after, I am never sure about that because of the weird way the IO can count. For example, if the due date is the 10th, 7 days after would be the 17th. I am never totally sure about that as they may count the due date as the 1st of the 7. So I would always make sure that I report on the 16th at the latest to be on the safe side.

Now, if you have bought your house, then I know that is possible, but I find it hard to imagine that this 25K also includes health insurance for a 76 year old. I advise you to check your coverage as it may not include full coverage. Your pension is 35K so you have scope to increase your spending each month and still not have to touch the money in the bank.

    Am I to understand from this article that the Nationwide closing time for bars etc is midnight? Exceptions being in some tourist hot spots? This is a surprise to me as some Thai bars in Khon Kaen (hardly a tourist hot spot!) are open and thumping out music until 3 AM. They have been since re-opening after covid. I am aware of some Thai bars open til past 8 AM but with the volume reduced.
